She’s getting kinda thick in there. I may learn how to really defoliate this week… just a little bit at a time. Heavy defoliation attempted midweek. I tried to follow the advice I received here. Hopefully I took enough for a first round and not too much for the pretty lady to deal with.

This gnome automatics “forge” is really starting to grow. I think I should get more airflow going in there but am not sure how to do it right. Is there some sort of rule of thumb about what to leave and how much? Thanks in advance for your help, it always proves invaluable.

My "go-to reference" is this article on defoliation - tells you how, why, when - excellent resource! But as you noted, you need to do this slowly because doing too much all at once will stress and stunt the plant. https://www.growweedeasy.com/nebulas-super-simple-3-step-defoliation-tutorial You've also got some nute problems in your grow ... definite nute burn (far too much nitrogen) and the beginnings of a calcium deficiency because of it. I would suggest nothing but plain pH'd water for the next week and find some bloom nutes rather than grow nutes to start giving her after the week of water... You might also consider using some Langbeinite 0-0-22 - I sprinkle a tablespoon of it on my soil once a month and it's brilliant at helping avoid that kind of deficiency. Good luck!

More defoliation? I’ve done some pretty serious (to me anyhow) defoliation to this beautiful lady and would like a more experienced eye to let me know if I should stop? Thanks to lots of great advice from here she’s already looking much better.

Well, you've done a lot of lollipopping - but that's about it. I wouldn't actually say you've done a lot of defoliation but I haven't gone back in your diaries to see what she was.... I hope you read that article I suggested before - that should tell you what to do for her. But besides that, there are three things that are going a little wrong here that I want to point out.... one is the temperature as Mazgoth rightly pointed out - that temperature is going to cook your plants. The other is that I'm seeing either a bad pH problem or a hunger issue... I'm talking about the yellow leaf tips. To figure out which, you need to water your plants until there's about 10-20% runoff and check the pH of that runoff.... I would, in any event, get the pH down to 6.0-6.4 max... You don't tell us what you've been feeding them so I can't comment on whether they're hungry - but a PK booster would not go amiss. Finally, I see you seem to have a fairly decent population of fungus gnats (on the yellow stickies) ... Just had someone whose plant had to be pitched because the fungus gnats ate all the roots and caused the plant to become mush.... Now, that was an extreme result of fungus gnats - they usually just eat the decaying material in the soil, but if that runs out, they start in on the roots. So get yourself some Mosquito Bits and follow the directions... they work a treat on fungus gnats. Fungus gnats, btw, like wet soil... so if you have a problem with them, it's because you're keeping the soil too wet... always let the soil dry out completely before giving them something more... Good luck!

Very nice bush you have there. Recharge looks great. Pity not widely available in the EU.

@gottagrowsometime, Thanks for your kind words. I’m still trying to figure this all out. Recharge is great. Absolutely. I use it in my vegetable garden too. It works so well I started listening to the podcast. They have a Canadian store too, maybe that’s be easier to get it?

Holy mother of bush plants! I see you've been defoliating so not much to say there. Just the genetics 😂 I had a grow like that, no matter how much you defoliatd in the first four weeks of flower, she just came back with more. Either way, she looks healthy and I hope she finishes well! 🍻

@Cyrusdavirus, thanks again. I really like this one. So much so I’ve already invested in a few more seeds from gnome automatics.
