Two weeks old for this African queen, as a reward, she's getting new lights and her own space, I've set up my homemade tent of 60x40x125cm.💡🌞 and I've put a Spider Farmer SF 1000 lamp in it, as part of an electrical optimization exercise, with limited resources and a very reasonable price, in this tent I'm going to grow the seedlings I have, and finally, I'll grow 3 of them to the end, for now, I have 7 seedlings, I adjust the lamp power to 60% which gives me a consumption of 50w, it's about 20cm away from the seedlings; At 100% the lamp consumes according to my watt meter: 91w, good news, especially after checking the great brightness it provides.
The lamp comes perfectly packaged, it includes cables and pulleys for installation, plug it in and start growing immediately. After checking the horizontal level, I notice a slight tilt on one axis, due to the weight of the Dimmer module, I've compensated for it with a small cup on the opposite side, but the right thing would be to install this module more towards the center of the panel... let's play!!
For now, this and the other seedlings are growing compact, which is what I'm looking for, due to the high brightness I'm providing with the new lamp. I'm going to wait at least another week before transplanting, because I'm tight on space and I'm waiting for a free spot in my main tent.
I'm doing daily foliar applications with a mix of amino acids and auxin lacto ferment, since most of the seedlings I'm growing have already had their top cut, this Queen of Africa is still small, but she won't escape!
See you soon.
REGARDS TO ALL!!🖐️👨🌾💧💦🌞💡

Third week from seed, and finally, this Queen is in her final pot, an old-school one, with side aeration, 7L, white color, because I’m going to have her in the sun for many hours in the coming weeks, and I don’t want the substrate to overheat, and I’ve finally decorated it so my Queen doesn’t feel far from home... shall we dance?💃 🖐️😈
Very hot days, so I did a deep watering after transplanting, I’m starting the inoculation of microbiology in the substrate, helping the rooting with Honey and my Auxin Lacto Ferment... let’s play! 😁👍
In a few days I’ll do the first apical cut to start shaping the plant.
Until today I’ve had this seedling under the Spider Farmer SF 1000 at 60% power, the compaction is very good, from now on this plant moves to the main tent!
See you soon.

Four weeks old, one week has passed since transplanting and 5 days since the apical cut, with immediate reaction on the lateral branches and resulting tips. The plant continues to establish in the pot, still with the moisture from the first watering, today is a rainy day and I will take this plant out for a fine and warm summer rain bath!
I can't say much more at the moment about this African Queen, I'm looking forward to starting with watering and making her grow!
See you soon.

Five weeks from seed, one more week and I'll switch to flowering schedule, this week I started shaping the plant and made the first ties to lateral branches and tips, to turn this Queen into a Beautiful Queen!
The growth evolution is good, this week I did the first deep watering after transplanting, the plant has doubled its water consumption and the new shoots are growing vigorously, short internodes guarantee good compactness and height control.
Three days ago I made the first solid amendment addition to the substrate, so they can slowly release nutrients, I covered the surface with a new layer of mulch... let’s play!!
Out of conviction and rebellion against the price of electricity, I grow in mixed mode, indoor/outdoor, in flowering, when I expect sun the next day, I keep the plants in the tent for 9 hours, and 3-4 hours in the morning sun, if the day is cloudy, the plants stay in the grow tent with 12 hours of light.
This plant has, just for herself, the best window, where she captures direct sunlight from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, then I put her in a grow tent until 6:00 PM, if it’s sunny, I take her to my west window, where she enjoys the fantastic rays of the sunset until 9:00 PM, and if there’s no sun, I put her to sleep at 7:00 PM, until 11:00 PM when I turn on the lights in the main tent... and back to start!💃😍
See you soon.

Six weeks old and four days since I switched to the 12/12 flowering schedule, the grow is progressing, growing compact and strengthening!
I've made an apical cut to the two lowest branches, waiting for them to strengthen. I keep the ties on the branches and adjust them periodically, to achieve a canopy of colas that will be the crown of this African Queen!
The plant has significantly increased its water consumption, for now I water deeply twice a week.
So far all the plants this growing season are responding very well to the significant increase in EC in the watering mixes. I take the opportunity to water with various Bio Nutrient solutions, at this stage of the plant, in addition to NPK and minerals from different sources, I'm also applying Bio Stimulants (Amino Acids, Lacto Algae, MMA Pumpkin...), always accompanied by Activated Mountain Microorganisms (MMA) and molasses to give them energy, at this moment, the potting substrate is a living and very efficient microbial ecosystem, in permanent communication with the root system... and the plant appreciates it and grows!
This week, I've given all my crops that have entered the flowering schedule in the last two weeks a special foliar application, based on auxin hormones, cytokinins, and gibberellic acid, these will promote cell division and the development of branches and lateral shoots, as the need for these hormones declines once the plant begins flower formation, I will do a second and final application of hormones in a few days, for now the concentration of the mix has been moderate, with an EC of 1.46.
Due to the increase in size and volume of all my crops, I've added new side lights, very close to the plants, to the main tent a Led COB 380-800nm with a 120° lens, in my homemade cabinet I've added a 450nm LED panel, both illuminate the lower middle areas of the plants, thus increasing leaf mass and photosynthesis. Currently, I'm growing 10 plants, in two grow tents, in one, 7 plants (60x120x178cm), in another 3 (60x40x125cm), with a total consumption of 627w, including ventilation... all for the cause!
Out of conviction and rebellion against the price of electricity, I grow in mixed mode, indoor/outdoor, in flowering, when I expect sun the next day, I keep the plants in the tent for 9h, and 3-4 hours in the morning sun, if the day is cloudy, the plants stay in the grow tent with 12h of light.
See you soon...

Seventh week of life and 10 days since switching to flowering schedule, the plant has started to show the first pistils, it wants to grow up... it wants to join the big game!
Four main branches, along with many others, promise production and sublime moments. I continue to adjust the ties on the branches, this season I have shaped all my plants into a columnar form, because I don't have lateral space, as I have exceeded the number of crops in a single grow tent. In fact, I'm delaying moving a large plant from the main tent to a 40x40x140cm tent that I still have set up. I will put two 50w COB LEDs with lenses on the canopy, and a couple of side lights... all for the cause!
I keep the plants hydrated, as we are in the 🤫 Fourth heat wave? so they don't suffer or protest, these girls deserve all my attention... because we are enemies of laziness!🤷♂️😁

Second week since switching to flowering, the flower buds are becoming more evident, the grow is progressing, and the size of the grow makes it very manageable.
A few days ago, I moved this plant to a small tent to lighten the main tent. I've put in the canopy two 50w COB LEDs each with 60° and 90° lenses, and color temperatures of 3500K and 2800K. On one side, I've placed 3 LED BARS: 660nm/450nm/6400k/3000k - with a 140° angle - Ratio 7/1/1/1 of 60cm and 33w... all for the cause!
Temperatures have moderated and cloudy days are proliferating, so the plant spends all its time in the grow tent, water consumption is high, I water deeply every 3 days.
This week also a contribution of dry amendments cooked with mountain microorganisms (MM).
Out of conviction and rebellion against the price of electricity, I grow in mixed mode, indoor/outdoor, in flowering, when I expect sun the next day, I keep the plants in the tent for 9h, and 3-4 hours in the morning sun. If the day is cloudy, the plants stay in the grow tent with 12h of light.

Fourth week since the switch to flowering, another week of cloudy and humid days, the plant stays in the grow tent all the time, the flower buds are advancing along the branches, in a race to fill them.
The morphology of this plant is interesting to me, it’s a compact sativa with strong branches, with a very manageable height, it hasn’t revealed the final shape of its buds yet, I’m looking forward to seeing it, for now, the flower buds are growing adorned with immaculate pistils, I hope to turn those branches into big sativa buds for my creative marijuana stash!
These days I’ve done several actions to advance the cultivation, every 15 days I add a bit (3g/liter of soil) of the Live Dry Amendments Mix that I’ve been keeping for months, originally this Mix was made up of one part worm humus, another of recovered and sifted mulch from other crops, this mulch contains a large amount of Microorganisms, the third part is a mix of all the organic and mineral components I had at home, later I’ve been adding other materials to replenish what’s been used, I added semi-wet Bokashi, more humus, more guanos, more algae, etc., the last thing I added this week was the solid remains (500g) of one of my Multi Fruit Lacto Ferments that I’ve been using for two years, I dehydrated it in the sun and mixed it, the fruity smell of this material is fantastic, and with it, I add "pre-cooked" food for the microorganisms, and all the nutrients, vitamins, or minerals that remained unsolubilized in the fruit remains, when I apply dry amendments, I add a layer of mulch, this material I obtain from two sources, the main one, recovering the first 3-4cm of mulch and substrate from the harvested pots, I keep it sealed in a bag to retain moisture and I keep adding all the dry leaves from the prunings and also the roots of the harvested plants (mycorrhizae), this layer contains a lot of Microbiology and semi-decomposed organic matter, stems, shavings, leaves, and remains of the dry amendments I apply, it’s fantastic to observe the bag and see that in a few days the dry leaves I keep adding disappear mixed with all that material, the microorganisms in this bag are having a continuous party!.. in this garden, we make the most of everything, we only get rid of pessimism and boredom! 🙋♂️😈💗
Watering continues stable every 3 days, in a week, when I’ve harvested two more plants, I’ll move this one to the main tent, with better and more intense lights than the current ones... all for the cause!
I’ve also removed all the ties from the branches, I think they have enough firmness to maintain their shape, and this way I’m freeing this African Queen.
During the sleep stage, I gather my 10 current crops in one room, with a large oscillating fan, this way I save on the fans of my 3 grow tents and also the plants are much more comfortable with space between them favoring air circulation.
See you soon...

Fifth week since switching to flowering, it's been a strange week, very strange, due to my clandestine activity. I won't go into details, but this plant and 3 others have been hidden and spent the last 4 days in absolute darkness (all for the cause). Fortunately, they are now getting light; I haven't checked if there have been changes in the plant's trichomes. The only thing I've observed so far, after the rough patch, is a general aged appearance, with some wrinkled leaves, the buds looking more mature, and no water consumption during the dark days. I'm waiting to see how it evolves; tomorrow during the day, I'll observe it closely. Well, I’m taking this experience; it’s going to be a way to test the effect of a period of darkness in the middle of flowering... those who don't find comfort, it's because they don't want to! 🤷♂️😁
I'll continue next week... greetings!
Out of conviction and rebellion against electricity prices, I grow in mixed mode, indoor/outdoor. Sixth week since the switch to flowering 12/12h, the plant is progressing, despite the rough time last week, where it experienced a 4-day dark period. Initially, the plant showed signs of premature aging, but this week with stimulating watering, plenty of light at night, sun during the day, and an extra hour of light 13/11h, the plant is recovering its metabolism, water consumption is increasing, the buds are thriving, and density is increasing. Without a doubt, despite everything, it is a resilient strain!✋
Based on the progress I see this week, I will decide whether to cut it or wait a few more days.
I'll keep you updated next week... cheers!

During the sleep stage, I gather my 10 current grows in one room, with a large oscillating fan. This way, I save on fans for my 3 grow tents, and the plants are much more comfortable with space between them, promoting air circulation.
See you soon...

ѦϏѦ ϏαϦȫȫ᧗ - La Reina de África: Old school strain with sativa dominance!
- Genetics: (Afghan x AK-47 x Thai). 30% Indica / 70% Sativa, THC: 20%, Flowering: 8-9 weeks. https://es.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/La_Reina_De_Africa/Kannabia_Seeds/
Eighth week of flowering and the last before harvest, I'm waiting for the plant to consume its last watering to harvest it, I estimate that in 2-3 more days it will be ready, these last two days the plant is receiving 24h of light, during the day it's in a window and at night in the grow tent, I do this without any special reason, like those who leave the plants in total darkness for the last 48h, I believe that the plant will increase its metabolism and photosynthesis with the light... I'm rebellious because the world has made me this way.
I'll continue after the cut, the drying and curing to finish telling the adventures of this plant... all for the cause!

GREETINGS TO EVERYONE!!🙋♂️👨🌾💧💦🌞💡

Ninth week of flowering, harvest week.
This has been a forced grow, as I exceeded the number of plants this growing season and my main cabinet got saturated, for this reason, I grew this plant in a 7L pot and set up a small tent of 40x40cm with generic lights, which didn’t help much, and to make matters worse, two weeks before the harvest, the plant was in total darkness for 4 days by accident, which caused premature aging that it never fully recovered from.
