As the first 3 CBD Mexican auto-flower plants had not done well before putting them outside, I decided I had better try to do a better job of getting them started. That was not the first time to grow an auto-flower variety. Last year I had better plants but lots of issue with mold. I decided to try 2 different strains this year. I had 3 seeds left, one did not germinate. This time I am using larger pots. Using the same soil, Miracle Grow that has a little bit of nutrients included. So I have been in the habit of not giving any nutrients until the plans are well established. This time I have added a little bit of Advanced Nutrients' pH Perfect Grow in the water. Not much watering yet, 0 .75 liter just a splash at base of plants. The soil in pots had enough water in it to keep it moist so I did not need much. The LED I am using is equivalent to 600 watts and keeping it about a foot from top of the little plants. They also get some natural sunlight from a nearby window. I have been told that I need a stronger light if I want to finish a plant indoors. So I bought one, still in the box as the manufacture's web site has no suggestions as to light to plant distance.
some work on the soil would be great, like adding Humus (worm poo), like 10kg over the first 20cm of soil, and some cover like chopped leaves. etc. That would increase the amount of roots
