18/7 watered
19/7 doing good
24/7 watered in the morning, and a little bit in the evening.. Top of the soil was already dry
25/7 watered in the evening. Top of the soil was dry again. 3 inches deeper it was a bit moist but not much.
I see growth. Fan leaves are tiny bit they look bright green so they are new.
10/8 entered 5th week since seed in soil
11/8 WW 1 and 2 - watered both plants 750ml
are they in pre-flower now ???? will they still grow taller?
When to do LST?
07/9 Entered 9th week since seed in soil. Picture of tue 13/9 is from last day of week 9
This week I gave him bloom fertilizer at first watering.
Second watering I gave it a booster and some byproducts against stress, better nutrient absorption, break down sugars and to absorb the nutrients left in the soil to lower possible build up.
Leafs are yellowing... trichomes are getting milky. Seen some amber coloured too but i also saw clear trichomes...
Wedn 14/9; entered 10th week since seed in soil.
17/9 The smaller plant seems (almost) ready.
Taller plant has still a week to go
18/9 Not sure if I should harvest the small plant today. I'll wait for more amber trichomes at top and more milky at the bottom to be sure.
I should harvest within 2 days max.
19/9 update
Small plant +- 30% amber on top. milky at the bottom. Last watering at 16/9. Should be at least 3 days before harvesting.
Taller plant
Trichomes at top are turning amber. Mid is milky. Bottom is clear. Will be checking this one too.
20/9 trimmed the small plant (stunted in veg).
Was difficult because it is small and dense.
-17g wet incl. stem and excl. sugar leaves.
-I will dry the sugar leaves too. So sticky...
Wedn. 21/9 entered 11th week since seed in soil.
Watered at 17/9 for the last time. Soil is 25% wet... i will stop watering. It has maybe a week max for harvest.
Strain is very good and strong/resistant. Easy for beginners.
24/9 harvested taller plant:
Trim wet: 4 g
Buds + stem wet: 23 g
20/9 harvested smaller plant:
17g wet buds incl. stem
Wet trim is maybe 1g
In total 10 grams dry
Not much and it is my own beginners fault. I will vape it instead of smoking so it is still worth it.
I saw your question and yes they will get a little taller. My suggestion would be on your next run let your pots dry out a little more. I noticed all of your plants are really small. Roots grow when they are searching for water. If the are constantly wet they will not grow out and search. In response they will not grow up top. Happy growing my dude
@603grower, that is because in their first 3 weeks my watering was inadequate and the light intensity could've been higher. I kept it at 25% and waited for the 5th leaf to come out. According to what I've read, they reach veg phase when that happens but their time clock is ticking so now I know that doesn't matter. They get plenty of water now and I let them dry out inbetween. The new plants get enough water and moist and have more light intensity. I'll see what the difference will be.
Autos are like marmite. Ppl either love em or hate em. Haven't been hit really small grows. But I've had a few small ones at 40cm..I use to top all my autos real early, this round going without topping to see will the results be better. Enjoy your smoke.
@gottagrowsometime,
I didn't water them enough and they also needed more light. I didn't know what i was doing with my plants those first 3-4 weeks. After veg it was too late already.
Afterwards I got help from several people. Learned alot. Even my trim today wasn't perfect but I will get there...
Thank you friend
@Drgreen13, i'm switching to liquid with extra's like boosters... those dry slow release managed to keep them healthy but also small. They were hungry.. i will also change to diy gravity powered watering system. Will order from amazon for 20$. Should do the thing from the start.
