Update: from going in the glass of water, to both cracking and being planted, they took 24 hours there abouts to sprout!!! Incredible 👏🏻👏🏻
Not much to add, one of them is definitely either stunted or not sure wether she wants to give up on life or not, but she still growing very slowly, her sister is smashing it.
Not much to add really this week, the bigger girl though is EXPLODING! Already trying to push pistils out at 16 days old 🤣 she’s very keen! The other little cherry cola, am unsure why she is so small and slow in comparison as same environment same schedules etc, just maybe a small pheno? But, she’s definitely still growing! So Still gunna let her grow out nonetheless, she sprouted so she’s alive! And she’ll produce. Overall really happy with the growth so far!
Loads of growth on both girls this week! Started showing me she’s a female with them hairs! Slight smell now when open tent aswell already, smells amazing! The smaller stunted girl is now growing very very fast! Super excited for these 😍
Some defoliation throughout the week, and trying to get the LST right, the smaller of the two has been stunted Atleast twice by my clumsy ass 😅 and is not growing as strong as the other now, and also didn’t take to “mainlining” lst like the larger one, so instead I’m just letting her grow upwards and just staking branches down to open them up a bit more, other than that she’s still growing, both started showing preflower towards end of this week, so I’ve just classed it as first week of flower. The larger of the two is absolutely smashing it! Took to LST and “mainlining” lst very well, will produce a nice amount of colas 👏🏻
So this week they have both exploded!! Remember when I said the smaller one won’t be as good? We’ll she’s exactly the same now, if not a little bigger 😆 have run into no issues except from underwatering as I’m still getting used to these fabric pots. They are smelling incredible already!
One thing though, this last week, the new growth leaves on them both have started clawing? Completely unsure why if anyone can take a look at some the later pics and help with that? I’ll label the pics anyway. It’s definitely not root bound or root rot as there’s no other symptoms, all other growth seems fine, it’s just the new growth 🤷♂️🏼 Never had this before so I’m completely clueless. They definitely seems to be growing still, so maybe it’s normal?
Really starting to worry and panic about them this last week. Don’t have a clue what’s wrong with them, only thing I can rule out is root rot otherwise they’d be dead by now or Atleast showing other symptoms except clawing, I first thought over watering and N toxicity so I gave a flush on both and let dry out a week, started doing better and going sad again today (Weds 31st August). Still seem to be growing and producing but both have slowed down quite considerably and I’m getting real stressed about it, don’t know what to do please help!
Please help me fix this girl, N toxicity and improper watering? Can anyone help advise me on proper watering for 5gal FastBuds fabric pots? As I think. Changing from plastic to these is where I have been screwing up watering schedule/technique. Sorry, still figuring site out
Ok. I've just gone over the diary for the weeks they've been in flower and I can see why you thought you had a nitrogen issue. Maybe you did, maybe you didn't... clawing like that can also be the result of under- or over-watering... and since you say you haven't quite figured out fabric pots yet, that makes the cause even cloudier!
Here's what I'm going to suggest... I would just give them pH'd water each time they are dry and need something for the next TWO times (see my answer to your other question about this - I explained how I water fabric pots). If it is a continuation of a nitrogen problem, this should clear it up without having to do a full flush again... and then the third time, add in your bloom nutes and maybe 1/2 dose of the Bio Grow (the Bio Heaven is only making the roots more able to access nutrients and gobble more of them up so you need to be giving them SOMETHING to eat...). Now, you might see that they're perking back up long before you get to this last step - in which case, you'll know the problem had been under-watering and you can simply resume your feeding as normal.
Does that make sense??
The only other thing I'll bring up is that, as I'm sure you know, plants in flower don't need a whole lot of nitrogen - and both the Bio Grow and especially the Top Max has a lot of it.... I would be cutting these nutes down, particularly the Top Max (can you see I'm a little hard on ONE nute?! LOL!) ... but too much nitrogen can cause other nutrients to be locked out such as calcium and then you're going to be back to flushing again... So just beware of that.
Good luck - I really don't think you've got a HUGE problem here - and I think you'll do just fine!
Got their growth rate back on track now after couple heavy flushes, both smelling amazing and producing flower and trichomes very fast now! Starting to smell real strong and amazing!! One of them started getting taller than I’d liked so I bent the main stem 😎
The smell coming these two girls is INCREDIBLE! Although slightly different Phenos, both smell unbelievably beautiful! Unlike any strain I’ve ever smelt
Both growing beautifully, smelling even more beautifully, and rapidly packing on weight and density now, 2-3 weeks left on them both possibly if they carry on same production that they are right now 🙌🏻🔥 never smelt any strain like these, absolute beautiful
Doing beautiful, half way through the week my friend ended up taking the smaller flowering cherry one, (on the rear right of tent) as I was running out of space, and gives him a chance to learn the harvest dry and cure. With my help obviously. Gave them their last nutrients beginning of last week, will just give water now until harvest which I estimate maybe a week or two? Could be more could be less. Smells very strong and fruity, beautiful!! Can not wait 😎 will get more of these most definitely, and more than 3 too!
About ready, cloudy and amber, and running out of space so she needs to come down asap 😆 smelling and looking very pretty! Not going to be a huge yielder as she got stunted a few times, but if the quality is good I’m not fussed about yield 😍
I stunted her a couple times early on in veg and once in flower, so the yield won’t be where I want it to be, but I think the quality and the taste most certainly will! So that makes up for it 😍 will update smoke and yield once dried etc 😍🙌🏻 This was only one in the end, my friend took one to harvest as I run out of space, will update that one also when ready!
Was great fun to grow!! Doesn’t like too much nutrients which fortunately for me I learned the hard way! Yes FORTUNATELY I say. Because now I know next time I grow it it will be smooth and the yield will be better! Nonetheless they both made it to harvest and both are frosty as hell and smell INCREDIBLE!! Would highly recommend the Cherry Cola!
@Cyrusdavirus, hahaha I did think maybe I’ll do one of each. 🤣 then in the end I got so annoyed at myself I did a lucky dip. Chucked all the 3X seeds packs in a box and picked out a random one, ended up being cherry cola anyway 🤦♂️🏼 😆 must have been a sign from the FastBuds gods. Yeah I’ve read through a few of the cherry cola diaries and it’s got some amazing reviews so far. I’m in love with FastBuds already honestly, don’t think I’ll grow anything else full time 🙏🏻😶🌫️

The little one doesn't look sick, I'm sure it will take off soon. I had one do this awhile back and it finally started growing I figured it would flower right away but it didn't it acted like I had planted it two weeks later than the others. I don't know if you remember it, it was the California snow I gave to my mom
@Cyrusdavirus, i 100% agree with the watering! Especially coming from plastic pots to much larger fabric pots, it’s a little bit to get used too, but just starting to figure it out now 🤞🏻 Hahah yeah it does, but in auto terms a year and a half is like what 4-5 grows maybe? They say autos are harder than photo periods, so getting autos right is pretty important and that makes me worry about them so much 🤣
@Se7en616, I'm glad I was 😆 it had just happened to me so I was hoping for you. I'm still learning how these autoflowers work I barely started growing them like a year n a half ago, it sounds like a long time when you say it but you can only grow so many in a year 😆
They look really good, just gotta figure out the water ... I always say watering is the hardest part to get right
@Cyrusdavirus, hehehe yeppppp getting closer and closer 😎 thanks bro! I think possibly early nitrogen toxicity too? Gave a flush today just before lights off and the water was very brown/gold, and I did give a fairly big feed last week

@Tropicannibis_Todd, yeahhh couple weeks I believe, I started starving the nutrients from them a week early I think, so I’m gunna give them one more top dressing tomorrow than start straight water again just so they can bulk up a little more 😆🙏🏻 Thank you brother
