Day 27 The tops have grown long enough to be tied down. I tied both the top and second leaf sets.
Day 28 & 29 I moved the ties out farther on each branch each day, as needed
Day 30 Moving Day is here! The roots are growing into the perlite, she is very ready for a larger home. The milk crate lined with landscaping fabric is ready, I added Mycorrhizae and prepared the perlite sub irrigation tub.
Some of the roots were left behind in the perlite, hopefully she’ll be ok, but now she’s in her new pot and under the screen.
I have centered her under both lights, hopefully the increased light will spur her on to growing. I top watered with silica and sea90 and also bottom watered to wet the perlite.
Day 31 New growth this morning, no stress from transplant. Time for the second and final topping. I pinched out the middle set of leaves growing from each of the 4 main arms. This should double the available branches to spread out under the screen. Now we wait for her to grow. I will check daily, any branches that get too tall will get tucked and encouraged to move outward. As soon as she fills 2/3 of the screen I can flip to flower.
Funny to see a FIM fail, indoors. Outdoors I protect the fimm’d node by taping the branch, right beneath the FIM.
Only makes sense when indoors, your Loading the Branches with Huge frickin budz!!!!! Joking of course. Super nice grow. Glad you met Durban Poison. True champion
There are some real nice crosses that have been made with Durban Poison. It’ll be great every time you return to it. Have a great Cure. Lock some up for 90 days! You’ll be surprised.
Cheers
@trerevilo, Thanks 😊 the high lasts 2 or 3 hours now that it’s cured for several weeks. I tend to have only a few puffs at a time though, it’s kinda strong. I’m liking it more and more!
