Chronicle of the week
The plants stretching a lot in this second week of flowering, still on grow nutrients for now. During next week I'll monitor the grow rate, which decreased a bit during the last days. Probably the change to bloom nutrients already during the week.
The following is the comparison between last and this week heights:
HB2: 56 cm --> 67cm
HB:67cm --> 80cm
RG:38cm --> 47cm
JH:37cm --> 47cm
DSD1: 59cm --> 71cm
GK1: 43cm --> 51cm
DSD2: 51cm --> 64cm
TD2: 48cm --> 62cm
GK2: 48cm --> 57cm
TD1: 30cm --> 42cm
11R/G1 51cm --> 66cm
11R/G2 48cm --> 59cm
WG:18cm --> 27cm
The small LST to contain HB is not very effective (need to be done earlier).
Decreased today the lamp distance, now 50cm from DSD1 and 40cm from HB (which seems doing very well).
In general, during this week the plants stretched a lot, and at the same time the pistils increased noticeably.
I have the following lamp:
LED Alien strippanel 630W, full spectrum, PPF 1700 umol /s, efficacy 2.7 umol/J
Does anyone have the same?
I have some issues on understanding the distance from canopy, the specifications say 15.2cm above it, but honestly it seems too close.

I bought a lux meter and did some measurement, and after some tests I decreased the distance of the lamp.
I searched a bit the lux values and found some ranges:
- clones and seedling --> 5000-7000 lumen
- veg --> 15000-50000 lumen
- bloom --> 45000-65000 lumen
Now the distance is 27 cm for HB and 35 for DSD1, with around 57k lumen
I think I can decrease further, heat does not seem an issue even closer (now the 15.2cm in the specification seems a bit less science fiction).
But anyway, will do some more tests and try to listen to the plant.
Hi everyone, I think the brown leaves just reflect the end of cycle (WG started flushing 4 days ago, DSD33 today).
I don't see signs of mold or something rotting, brown leaves do not detach, both plants show already some amber trichomes.
What do you think?
It doesn't look like botrytis because the leaves are burnt and not just dying and gone floppy.
Is it possible that when you were feeding a drop landed on those leaves?
Nutrient rich water becomes more and more concentrated as the water evaporates and can easily burn your leaves and seeing that it's in isolated spots, that would be my best guess.
