The week has been exciting with fast progress. One of our GSC did not produce her taproot, so we covered her back up and placed her in the dark to give her more time. One of the Deelites started growing weird and after research discovered she was chasing light. We added additional light, but decided to transplant earlier than expected to hopefully fix the issue.
Week 2: Removed broken Delight, not growing. Saturated Delight to test. 2 days later Delight in stress and has stopped growing. Her leaves are curling down.
Repot Day:
The two in the back GSC & Delite have 5 lbs Super California mix and topped with Fox Farm; the two in front have Fox Farm 1 lb Super California Concentrate and topped with Fox Farm. All given water. Turned outside fan off to create a little more humidity.
Started using Ivideon on old phone in grow tent. App allows us to view inside tent at any time online for free. Requires app IP Webcam. Both available on google and apple and are free. You do need to reset the phone/camera every couple of days.
Using Govee to monitor temp/humidity and vpn.
Week 3: Mars Hydro TS3000 light came in and installed at 12 inches from tops. Ran at 100% light for a few hours, however, temp was an issue. Temp was at 83. Posted in FB group, suggestions were to turn lights down and raise it up. Raised lights to 24 inches from top and built vent box to use AC for cooling.
Filled a pot with FFO to test our water. Watered with 1 gallon of water. Test the runoff and it had a PH of 5.9. Seeing how long it takes to dry out in tent.
Fox Farm Nutes arrived
Soil Test - check moisture level at 1 inch from bottom registered at a 4.
Watered plants with Fox Farm Nutes, Week 1. Gave all GSC's 3/4 Gallon and the Delite got 1/2 Gallon. Lots of runoff, removed from reservoir after 30 minutes. Forgot to add the PH Up and Cal-Mag. Runoff PH tested at 5.5.
Week 4: Girls have responded well to nutes.
Defoliation started this week. White spots started showing, After research we believe this to be because of our hard water and getting water on the leaves.
We also started LST using fishing line, however this did not work so we removed it.
Week 5: A little yellowing on the leaves this week. We believe we have a Mag deficiency. Will adjust when watering. Did a flush due to this as well with Cal/Mag in the water.
Defoliation: We took a lot more off this week due to the growth spurt.
LST: using paper clips for LST and it is working amazingly. They have really adjusted well to it.
Height (inches): GSC1 21.5; GSC2 15.5; GSC3 15; Delight 17
7.19.22: The back left GSC grew 3 inches overnight - crazy!!! Raised the light to accommodate it and placed the other girls on a box to be at her level.
Week 6: Not much to report this week, Growing like crazy.
NOTE: GSC1 does not require extra LST, she spread out on her own. LST is on GSC2, GSC3 and Delight.
Week 7: Delight and GSC1 are wilting/droopy. Not really sure why yet, will have to do some research. They were extremely dry, hopefully nute water will help. 1 gallon each.
Having issues at night with humidity. Opened bottom air vents on tent overnight and that seems to be helping keep it steady.
Yellow/Curling leaf on GSC1
Week 8: Deelite skyrocketed and is now 45 inches tall. GSC1 is almost ready for harvest; GSC2 is showing signs of PH imbalance with yellow/brown dry leaves. GSC3 is also showing signs of PH imbalance, but not as prominent as GSC3. Everything else is on track and looking good. GSC1 is being monitored daily for chop.
New tent arrived and put together for drying.
Deelite is a very bushy girl and got a serious defoliation, removing 65% of excess foliage. She has 9-11 finger fanleaves.
