Getting a late start to this contest grow. Finally got the tent cleaned up and ready to roll after my last harvest. Popped 3- have seen two surface. I do a glass of water for 24 hrs, then popped into soil in solos. Will give the 3rd seed a chance before writing her off. 🌱 👊🏻
Up potted these to some 3 falling pots. Plant 1 didn’t seem to like it too much and seems a bit stunted. Plant on the other hand looks a bit on track. Hoping the temps stay where they are and don’t increase too much more.
Ph’ing the water. Humidity is really low. Gave them a good watering, a bit of rum off in the drip pans. Hoping to see that raise it a few. Will begin feeding this week.
Keeping up the humidity has been tough. I bought these domes on Amazon, they are exactly as wide as my bags- but what am I to do. Another week and they’ll get too big for them anyway.
Plants are chugging along. I plan on bending these as opposed to topping them. That really seems to stretch out the flowering time and I’d like them done before it gets too cold.
Switched the plants in the tent, so now the stunted plant ( who’s really taller now and really going for it) is on the right. I even went ahead and topped her- just trying to keep the two plants even in height.
The second plant is short but with a lot of side branches growing up to the canopy.
Started with a light feeding. Will up a bit this week.
Upped nutrients this week as planned. Plants both seem healthy- a nice solid green. Plants measure in at slightly different heights. One plant at 9 inches, the other just topping 12 inches ( the topped one too).
A few more days of veg while I sort out the tent I’ll be doing a run of autos in. Then I’ll flip.
Seeing them stem really thicken up and a lot more bud site popping up. I bent them a bit earlier this week, but it’s already been a few days and they are thriving.
It’s officially been 7 days since I switched these ladies to 12/12.
Seeing some height gains. Plant one- the topped plant- is at 16 inches from soil, and the squatter plant 2- is at 14.
Will switch nutrients at next feeding to a more bloom oriented mix per feed chart.
Starting to see some white hairs. 14 days at 12/12 at this point. Switched nutrients up a bit now we’re officially in flower. Stems look good. Another week and I’ll do a light defoliation just to unblock some bud sites.
Could have sworn I updated this diary two days ago when I updated my other two. Oh well. I already erased the photos from my phone- so I just snapped a few right now so there’s an update. I will update again in 5 days
Both of these two beautiful ladies are doin’ just fine. Removed a bit of fan leaves that were blocking other buds and checked for any unwanted parts. So far so good 😊. Half way(ish) through flowers so I dropped the cal/mag addition and replaced with some bud stacker. Hopefully it’s the right choice.
Buds are stacking up nicely. Seeing some burnt tips on the sugar leaves. I’ve been feeding nutrients every other feeding. And just ph’ed water on the others.
They are starting to smell wonderful and crystal up nicely.
They stink. 😂
Hoping what I’m seeing is just some end of life fade. Getting close to the end. Two weeks for sure. Hopefully I can get them harvested before the end of the SSSC contest 🙏
Seeing much more fade on one of the two plants. They other isn’t facing yet but she is starting to add a bit more weigh on. She looks like she’s a week behind the other plant.
8 weeks 👏
These two are stinking up the place. I check out the trichomes and they are almost completely milky with the occasional clear, and a tinge of amber. They received ph’ed nutrient free on the last watering and will receive one more before going dark for 48 hours. I gotta get them down and hung asap.
These plants were fun to grow! They took everything I’ve thrown at them and more. Great vigor in their 6 weeks of veg. And then really stretched out and filled the space in flower. They could have probably done with another week- but with the holiday and the prospect of family visiting- they gotta go!
Can’t wait a few days until they are jarred up and I can have a taste.
