Started LST on 4/26. No nutrients, the Fox Farm soil has plenty so just PH water.

Strong plant this one is, AC went out so tent was high 90s yesterday all day. She bounced right back with a little humidity and cooler air. This plant for some reason doesnt like to much humidity but when really hot she loves it. Would any of you defoliate at this point? I did it once already and it came right back.

This week she was drinking a ton of water. She is now drinking 1 gallon every 2.5 days. I think the 2 600w LEDs are doing this but she is loving every second of it. I got caught up in the fast watering cycle that i over fed so these next few waterings will be PH water and whats absolutely needed only. Hey, thanks everyone for helping out with my question, much appreciated. I measured runoff and PPM = 3530, PH=6.78, WATER TEMP=68.0*. Im going to just PH water until runoff PPM is around 1500. I believe (by what im understanding with the answers) that im feeding to much. Once i reach 1500PPM i should be close to final flush i would imagine.

During all stages of flower, what should the PH & PPM's be in runoff water for an indoor 10 gallon soil grow (High's & Low's)? Assume beginning #'s are PH=5.8 & PPM=100 from flush.

5.8 pH is a tiny wee bit low, but not much, it should be 6.0 as the lowest, highest should be 7.0; as for soil runoff, 100 PPM is practically nothing, that soil is devoid of any and all nutrients, the idea of using soil is that it gives the plant a buffer of nutrients, using (or buying soil) and then flushing it is counterproductive since you loose the very nutrients that you buy soil for. The following information is from my 2nd run, using All-mix soil from Biobizz, it will give you some idea about runoff in soil. Prior to flowering, I transplanted to 3 gallon (11 liters) pots (from 2 liters or half a gallon), the first run off was 10.000 PPM, no feeding yet; at 2 weeks the runoff was 8.000 PPM, no feeding yet; at 4 weeks old they showed the first signs of PK deficiency and received a 500 PPM feed, the runoff was 5.500 PPM; at 5 weeks they received a 600 PPM feed with a runoff of 4000 PPM; at 6 weeks old they received a 700 PPM feed with a runoff of 3.700 PPM; at 7 weeks, the feed was 700 PPM again and the runoff was 3.500 PPM, at 8 weeks it was given water only and the runoff was 2.500; after 9 weeks they were harvested.

She is very consistant now with her 1 gallon waterings every 2.5 days with all leaves reaching for light. If i let her go to 2.75 days she is real droopy. PPMs are down in the runoff now (1264). I am now returning to water/water/full feed schedule for the next 2 weeks if all goes well.

Not very much growth this week it seems. The smell is starting to come out more and more which is very fruity. It smells exactly like the sunset sherbert vape pen i have. Hopefully i can keep the smell this time with a better flush and cure.

So not much growth this week, but they did fill in a lot. Real dense buds even down low. Im not sure how this plant should look at this point grown by a professional but it seems i might have stunted its growth (but im not sure). One by the LED power or Two from when i flushed her before going into flower. OR three, is it becuase i veg'd to long therfore NO stretch when flipped to 12/12? OOOORRRRR four, is it nitrogen toxicity? Which might be why she drinks a lot and a bit of heat stress makeing tips curl down? 9/16 update: Last feeding was done, From here on out just ro water. Lower leaves are turning lighter green. Mostly cloudy, little clear, no amber spotted. Whats weird is the tricomes are turning purple in the stem part.

Heloo @11Hick11 ! What you need to do is a slow drying process but not to slow because you risking bud rot development . The best conditions to do that is at 18 - 20 °C and around 50% - 55% RH. If you don't have the equipment to achieve stable environment conditions you need to adapt. For example if you have a hot environment with low RH you need to harvest at about 4-5 hours after watering so the plants have water inside them and won't dehydrate very quickly . If you have a cold environment with high RH you need to harvest 1-2 days after your last watering so the plants don't have a lot of water inside them and not having the risk of bud rot development. The best period of drying at optimum conditions is around 7-10 days or until the little stems of bud sides brake when you pull them instead of just bend . After that the best way and economically affordable to cure them is inside a jar at 16 - 18 °C with a Boveda envelope. I like the Boveda with 58 RH. Most people like the 62% but that's on your personal preference. I can guaranty you will not loose any terpenes with boveda.

10/01 update: I dont think its to much longer the way shes looking now. Lower portions still need a bit more cloudyness to be ready. 10/03 update: So you can see all sorts of issue's, i have been trying to figure out the down curl on the leaves. The only two thing's i can think of is its to bright or overwatered. The lower portions are starting to get more cloudy.

10/12 update: She is finally done. This grow has tought me a lot, especially how much there is still to learn. This was an experiment i was doing on the longer veg time. Im not done yet with this experiment as i have some clones of her that im only going to veg a few weeks (4 or 5) and then compare growth and yield. Ill be using the same size pots and nuts on 1 of them.
