I just placed an order with seedsman and got 3 free skunk#1 seeds, so it's cool to see you growing their same cultivar. They are looking great, my friend! A few tips to help set your mind at ease: - always check your medium before you water. Stick your pointer finger all the way into the soil to make sure it is nice and dry. If it still has enough moisture to make your finger moist, it doesn't need watered. -if you are using nutrients(I recommend you do), start off by using the guidelines and recommended doses, then go from there. -read up on deficiencies and toxicities. It will help you out and save so much time and worrying. I hope this helps.

High Ryanh, I can see that you have been reading and/or learning a lot about this hobby. Beautiful setup and everything looks great. I always like to check the diaries on this website about a strain that I grow for the first time or nutriens that I use for the first time. You can learn a lot about the strains and nutriens from growers that did use or are using them already. Happy Growing! 😋

Yup, you're right, it is a nitrogen toxicity but I was puzzled as to how this occured because between the Grow Big and the Fish Shit, you're really not giving it too much nitrogen at this stage of growth... but then I saw how much you were watering them and the answer came... You're growing in a 5 gallon and only giving them 1/4 gallon of water/nutes a day - all the nutes are stacking up in the soil and THIS is what is causing the problem. When you give plain water, you need to make sure you get at least 10-20% runoff... this clears out the soil of excess nutes and salts (not ALL but just the excesses that are building up). In a 5 gallon pot, I would be giving them double the liquid you are giving them per day. I also, whether watering or feeding, put a saucer underneath to catch the runoff and will let the pot sit in the runoff for a good 15-20 minutes - that excess water or nute solution is usually soaked right back up into the soil and if it is, I give the plant some more... I keep doing that until the liquid is no longer being soaked back up and then dump what's in the saucer because you do NOT want wet feet! Make sure you let the soil dry out completely before giving anything more. What you need to do is to clean out the soil with a good flush.... for your pots, that means 15 gallons of pH'd water through each one with 1/2strength nutes in the final gallon... then let it dry out before watering them again ... This should take care of the issue and those lovely lookingi plants should be much happier! Good luck!

High Ryanh, Yes you are 100% right that this Nitrogen toxicity. This is the result of the plant getting too much Nitrogen (usually from too high levels of nutrients overall, or by using a Vegetative nutrient in the flowering stage). It causes dark green leaves and curled tips (“the claw”). One of the main symptoms of a Nitrogen toxicity is curled tips (“the claw”). And that claw is pretty obvious when I look at your pictures. You need to flush the soil and after flushing give less Nitrogen nutrients. You can do this flushing by slowly pour water pH 6.2 onto the top of the soil, allowing it to drain freely from the bottom of the pot. Pour slowly, so the water doesn't overflow from the top of the pot. Use approximately four times the pot's volume in water to flush the soil. For example, use 1 gallon of water for a 1 quart pot. After the flushing you need to let the soil (almost) dry out completely. And from here you continue your grow as you did before but now without the Grow Big nutrients because they contain too much Nitrogen!!! Happy Growing! 😋
