Currently at day 11 from sprout. I grew four different strains on my last grow and fell in love with the dream factory from Exotic Genetix so much that I decided to grow 4 of their cultivars. This grow will be a slight bit different from my last. I purchased 4 AC Infinity self watering bases to put my fabric pots on. I also decided to downsize my pots from 5 gal down to 1 gal. The reason for this is to try and keep the bottom part of the pots saturated. On the last grow I had some issues during the first 3 weeks of flower where my roots expanded to areas that had little or no nutrients in the medium and this causes some tip burn and leaf issues. I also scrapped the 800 bottles that are part of the Advanced Nutrients lineup I exaggerate but its a lot of bottles and its a pain in the ass. I chose to go with more of a basic approach and instead of buying fancy bottles I am going with just Jacks Hydro with Calcium Nitrate and Epsom added. I am also using Powersi original during veg, and Powersi bloom during flowering. The plan is to feed with jacks and start at 1/4 strength and work my way up to 80% strength which equates to 3g jacks, 2 grams calcium nitrate, and 1 gram epsom salt. Once the roots reach the bottom of the 1 gal pots, I plan on only adding the jacks mixture to the self watering base. Every couple weeks, I will top feed a microbe mixture consisting of 2ml tribus, 5 g real growers recharge, 1 tbsp blackstrap molasses, and 1 tbsp of Neptune's Harvest Kelp 0-0-1. Once the plants are 12 inches tall and have at least 6 or 7 nodes I will top for the first time above the 5th node. I will then wait 7 to 10 days and top those 2 shoots, then wait 7 to 10 days more and top the 4 shoots for a total of 8 main colas per plant. I also top the side branches if they grow to tall and start outgrowing the topped mains. As they grow I will use plant ties for LST and super cropping to keep my canopy even. I will be following a modified VPD schedule again on this grow since it worked really well on the last grow. Plants are really starting to grow nicely. I transplanted into 1 gal pots because the roots were busting out the bottom of the solo cups. Roots are twice as thick as my last grow, my guess is it's the tribus or the powersi because I didnt use these on the last grow. Trying out these ac infinity self watering bases, still a bit skeptical that they will work as intended.

Roots filling out really well, starting to poke out fabric pots which imo is a sign your roots are healthy. Gonna stick with the 1 gal fabric pots for 3 or 4 more weeks and then transplant into 5 gal pots 10 days before I flip

Day 30 on these ladies. Let the bottoms air prune last weekend then put them back on the self watering bases. Topped for the first time last wednesday night so I'm gonna let them go until Friday and then top again. Next week I will top once more to make 8 colas and then top the side branches. After 3rd cut I think I'm gonna scrog them and let them grow for a week to 10 days then flip.

Week 5 all 4 looking good. Topped once so far, and starting to spread out a little bit.

Day43 I put the scrog net in the tent and used these cheap lst clips to keep the canopy flat. Was planning on flipping this thursday sep 15th but not sure yet, I might let them go another week maybe 2 depends on how well they even out in the next couple days.

Flipped on Sep 15 so calling Sep 16th day 1. All 4 growing nicely. Switched from jacks 321 to 221.5 with .5g mkp Plants are drinking close to 1 gal each day. I've been filling bases with nutrient solution and top feeding microbe mix once per week.

All 4 growing well. They're starting to stretch a little each day but I think they're gonna be ok the silica is helping to keep them compact.

Halfway through week 3 flowering. Got some slight tip burn on newer growth so I backed off a bit. Buds starting to form nicely. Terps I am getting from stem rubs. Sugar pussy smells like tangerines, apes in space smells like gassy fruit, carmelita had a minty earthy funk to her, and the dreamsicle has a really strange earthy fruity funk that I cant figure out

Day 28F. Just did last defoliation on these ladies. Took a little more than I wanted but hopefully they will be just fine. All 4 frosting up nicely a smelling very strong now. Apes in space smells like gassy ice cream, carmelita smells like chocolate chip mint ice cream, sugar puss smells like fresh tangerines, and dreamsicle smells like sweet strawberry soda

Started a pk boost at day 35 flower. Added 1g monopitassium phosphate to my regular 321 feed

Day 48F almost at the end of week 7 flower. I estimate that I have between 3 to 4 weeks left so hopefully I can get these dried and cured by christmas but if not at least by jan 15th

End of week 8 of flower. Starting to cut back on my nutrients and eventually feed ph water the last week. Sugar puss and dreamsicle are really close to being finished and the apes in space and carmelita still need time to ripen so it's looking like a thanksgiving harvest

I estimate that I have about 10 days left. The sugar puss and the dreamsicle are really close but the apes in space and carmelita still have a week to go. I think I timed this grow perfectly and buds will be done on dec 25th

Just about finished with this grow. Today is day 66F, both sugar puss and dreamsicle are done, but since I only have 1 room to dry these plants I am forced to wait a few more days before the Apes in space and Carmelita are finished they still have a few lower buds that are finishing and should be done by Thanksgiving morning. Overall this was a pleasant grow with no major issues, next journal will be coming up soon and will consist of 1 each of Gary Poppins ( Red Runtz x Gary Payton), Game Time( Red Runtz x Don Mega), Cherry Bang Bang ( Red Runtz x Cherry Cosmo), and Slap Donkey ( Red Runtz x Grease Monkey). Next grow should be started by Dec 15th gonna clean out my grow room and tent and do some maintenance and clean my equipment and lights.

Like a dumbass I neglected to take pics I was so eager to trim and bag these flowers. Dry weight for this plant was 155 grams of solid buds and 38 grams of trim for ediblea. Pressed some rosin to sample after a 2 week cure and was very pleased with the results such a great balanced buzz

Neglected to take pics after chopping but this pic was taken 2 days before harvest. Yield was much smaller than I expected I got 153g of solid bud and 30g of trim. This strain is a heavy hitter and I really like it a lot, I deliberately excluded it from my list when my friends asked what I had avail for Christmas hahahaha

Yield was 244g Plant was a bit difficult and gave some problems but overall yielded the highest of all 4 plants

My least favorite in the tent while growing ended up being my 2nd favorite smoke out of the 4. I like a heavy sleepy strain for the end of the day and this strain checks all the boxes such a perfect sleep strain that has a light giggly happy high on top of the heavy body couch lock
