Here we go again! I almost started again with same seed as before, Barney's Farm Tangerine Dream AUTO. BUT. I decided I'll try something new as the smoke wasn't exactly what I was looking for. It wasn't super tasty and the buds were not that dense. I do want to maximize my yield, considering the grow space is SUPER SMALL. Hence Mini Grow in the title. šŸ‘Ø If you are interested how my first project went, please check my profile. I've shown all the equipment I purchased and how my setup looks like. All in week 1. If you want more info, just ask! I'll be glad to help out :) So, with my previous First grow / Mini grow project, I made several (stupid mistakes). Here I've listed them and I try to avoid them this time around. Quote from First Grow/Mini Grow/TangerineDreamAuto project: āŒ I made several mistakes looking back. Here are few that come into my mind at this point: - šŸŒ± Autoflower. I shouldn't have gone with autoflower to begin with, it wasn't easy to control it as I was trying to control my very limited space at the same time. Timing issues here and there. Tried to stretch the vegetation phase when it wasn't simply possible. - šŸŒ”ļø Heat. I misjudged the amount of heat that the LED strips produced. I went few weeks with the lights just being too low and damaged the leaves a bit. - šŸŒŠ Overwatering. Thinking my issues were with nutrients and not the actual cause (heat), I flushed the soil couple of times causing unfortunate overwatering at the same time. - šŸ˜§ Stress. I caused un needed stress to the plant while I still had to LST/HST while in early flowering phase. I also transitioned from veg to flower by not just flipping the light switch from 16/8 to 12/12 overnight. Instead I did the transfer gradually. This probably caused slower transition for the plant as well. - šŸ¼ Nutrients. I should have reacted to the late flowering phase deficiency of Cal/Mag more quicker. I saw last week that the CalMag really had an effect and slowed down the yellowing of the leaves. - šŸ’§ pH'd water. I should have done it from the beginning. Let's see how it goes this time around, happy to have you here with me šŸŒˆ

Last week (4th flowering week) I started with Plagron Greensensation and 6 days later I've seen some serious yellowing of the lower fan leaves. Also leaf tips are turning purple a bit. Had a day of overheating (~29Ā°C) too. Question is, with what am I struggling with here?
Solved
Leaves. Curl up
Leaves. Color - Yellow

If this were my grow, I'd be treating a nitrogen toxicity which has led to a calcium deficiency... and I would be flushing with 3x the pot volume of pH'd water... I'd also be lowering my pH to 6.2 and getting rid of the calmag because that's useless given the reason for the deficiency (too much nitrogen). Good luck!

Care not to overwater it! This is a really great strain! Let soil dry a lot before watering again. Also make holes around the pot so the soil stays oxygenated. It will be great for the roots. You don't need to care about fertilizing it right now, just let it develop roots over humid soil, and it will be big!!!

@Budzalot, Yeah I did HPS as well like 8 years ago, results were booming back then. Haven't even heard the term rdwc before but looks super fascinating! Nowadays it's only 1 plant at a time for a hobby in a 23" x 15" x 23" mini tent :)

@GreenEyez, thanks took me years of rdwc to get it down. But hps with rdwc gets out standing results. Did try led like 10 years ago didn't come close to harvest weight with hps. Thinking of trying led again or mix in some so I get less stretching

@Budzalot, yours is bushy as hell šŸ˜ I guess that's how it goes with plenty of space and hydro-setup. Nice going dude :)
