Here we go again! I almost started again with same seed as before, Barney's Farm Tangerine Dream AUTO. BUT. I decided I'll try something new as the smoke wasn't exactly what I was looking for. It wasn't super tasty and the buds were not that dense. I do want to maximize my yield, considering the grow space is SUPER SMALL. Hence Mini Grow in the title.

So, with my previous First grow / Mini grow project, I made several (stupid mistakes). Here I've listed them and I try to avoid them this time around.

- 🌱 Autoflower. I shouldn't have gone with autoflower to begin with, it wasn't easy to control it as I was trying to control my very limited space at the same time. Timing issues here and there. Tried to stretch the vegetation phase when it wasn't simply possible.
- 🌡️ Heat. I misjudged the amount of heat that the LED strips produced. I went few weeks with the lights just being too low and damaged the leaves a bit.
- 🌊 Overwatering. Thinking my issues were with nutrients and not the actual cause (heat), I flushed the soil couple of times causing unfortunate overwatering at the same time.
- 😧 Stress. I caused un needed stress to the plant while I still had to LST/HST while in early flowering phase. I also transitioned from veg to flower by not just flipping the light switch from 16/8 to 12/12 overnight. Instead I did the transfer gradually. This probably caused slower transition for the plant as well.
- 🍼 Nutrients. I should have reacted to the late flowering phase deficiency of Cal/Mag more quicker. I saw last week that the CalMag really had an effect and slowed down the yellowing of the leaves.
- 💧 pH'd water. I should have done it from the beginning.

D14: 👉 I've let the baby just be and I turned up the the lights (40W) for it, I will transition to 18/6 in a few days. I'll also soon turn on the fan so the heat would be contained better. We don't want no heat strokes.
🌈 I have also learned from my latest mistake with Project Tangerine Dream and I will keep the lights as far off from the plants as possible. Distance is now 40cm, but that will obviously decrease as time goes by. Everything seems to be up to bar. Will take this one nice and slow.
💧 I have fed it only once so far with Startbooster and now I'll start with PLAGRON Grow and Alg-A-Mic as well. Super important: Started now with pH'd water.
D16: 👉 I topped it off for the first time and also changed the light schedule to 18/6...

D31 👉 Yesterday I started the S&M excercise with the baby: LST. It seemed to recover nicely from it even though I was a little too rough with a lil branch.
D38 👉 New leaves are curling up (canooing). I'm not exactly sure of the reason of it, but i suspect one of the 2 things: Overwatering or I pH'd the water unsuccesfully. I diluted the water and will water again in couple of days after the soil has properly dryed out.
Otherwise it's Saul Goodman!
D46 👉 Everything is going according to pl...... F***! I was switching the lighting to 12/12 while changing blooming lights on as well and guess what I noticed? That I've had set my lighting schedule to 16/8, when I was supposed to do 18/6... Well nothing I can do now about it. I still went 12/12 with 4x Bloom lights.
🍼 Nutrients: I've switched over to Alga bloom, but decided to keep going a bit with Alga grow with minimal amount as well. Plant is looking generally healthy, only one leaf has shown signs of some type of over nuting or something, idk. Will keep my eye on it. Lil hairs popping up. I'm pleased.
D53 👉 Everything is going smooth, not much to say here. I've upped amount of Bloom, guess we'll see effects in couple of weeks 😎 Compared to my last grow this is going super smooth. Last time around these times I got probable heat issues, nute burn, and over watering, this time nothing.
This time around I also let the baby go dry in a way that it's visible to eye and only then it's feeding time.
D58 👉 All good, seems like buds are now starting to slowly form. I've watered the plant every 3 days 0,5L, seems like this is the rythm for now.
D77 👉 So I've run into some issues with leaves yellowing, will ask about this. Otherwise progress is a bit slow to my liking. Not so sure about this Plagron nutrients.
D80 👉 Flushed, hoping something will change
Last week (4th flowering week) I started with Plagron Greensensation and 6 days later I've seen some serious yellowing of the lower fan leaves. Also leaf tips are turning purple a bit. Had a day of overheating (~29°C) too. Question is, with what am I struggling with here?
If this were my grow, I'd be treating a nitrogen toxicity which has led to a calcium deficiency... and I would be flushing with 3x the pot volume of pH'd water... I'd also be lowering my pH to 6.2 and getting rid of the calmag because that's useless given the reason for the deficiency (too much nitrogen).

D89 👉 It's dropping all main fan leaves which is a bummer. I guess I should flush again but it didn't like the first flush too much either so I'mma skip and just "hold on to what we got".
D92 👉 Yeah, main fan leaves are about to be dropped and I'm just waiting for the harvest at this point. Trichomes are showing some yellowing so I assume the plant is about to be done as well.
📸 Also wanted to play a bit with the brightness settings of the camera to illustrate the purple leaves it's developing. I must say that purple is a beautiful color. Just sad to have so little leaves left :(
D95 👉 So yep, all main leaves have gone. Sugar leaves show no sign of tiredness, only their color has changed. I like that. But I screwed something up, still don't exactly know what. Maybe it was the pH of the water. Who knows.
🌊 Barney's Mimosa x Orange Punch info says the harvest time is 55/60 days. We are now at day 50, so after this last feed, we'll go flush mode for 2 weeks.
