Super excited to start this run with Humboldt Seed Co! Got their signature strain, Blueberry Muffin. Threw them in water on Tuesday and they popped up today. 4/4 came up and hoping all goes well 🤞🤞
One of my girls looked like she died. She did pull through somehow though. I did pop another seed when it looked gone so now I might start another diary to record a separate grow.
Most of the girls are not doing too well. Not sure what's wrong. All the cups are built the same. One plants thriving though. Popping more seeds now to pick the best out.
The new beans I popped are up and at em. I did a proper 70/30 Coco to castings with castings and some 444 on the bottom of the cups. Confident they'll all do well and won't be able to keep em all due to space. The one good one got transplanted into the veg tent. Topped today.
I topped the big girl at the start of this week. She is growing out of control and I cut some branches for clones. I'm waiting on the rest to catch up to transplant.
After a disaster with my other run, I decided to completely fill up this tent to get as much product as possible. All went well except one girl. Not sure why she is upset. Potentially overwatered but not perking back up. Will keep posted
Was a big week. The girls recovered after the transplant and new tent. Also got my pH locked in. Gave the girls a major haircut, defoliating and lollipopping. Also got a new AC Infinity oscillating fan! Works great with my controller 69. I added diatomaceous earth and stick pads to get rid of a couple nats.
The only training this week was redoing the ties on the big girl. Hoping the whole tent will be filled and the other girls will be as tall as the big one by the end of next week. I wanna fill this bitch up before going into flower. Thanks for stopping by!
Was a great week. Built mini tables to raise up smaller plants. That gave me an even canopy for the most part. Gave the plants a new feeding of Dolomite lime for Calmag and 4-8-4 blend for flower. Covered with straw, this is the first time trying this to keep the topsoil wet. We'll see. Redid some ties and tried to Tetris my plants to max out the space. Flipping to flower tomorrow and will make an estimated 8 week flower. The breeder says 45 days but I have my doubts.
Entered our first week of flower. The lights were a tad low so I raised them a couple inches to sit at 12 inches. The girls are doing great. No deficiencys and they are looking happy. Thanks for stopping by.
Did some slight training on one plant. Defoliated a couple lower points but overall just letting them do their thing. Got everything locked in at this point. I've got to water daily. Half of the girls already have some color in their pistols!
Thanks for stopping by.
Girls are in auto pilot at this point. I water daily with a small amount. Keeping the lights at ten inches. They are starting to frost up and fatten up as well.
These girls are a pleasure to grow. On total auto pilot. Just water daily and pull dying leaves off the bottom of the girls. You get heavy tones of blueberry muffins when you open the tent.
These girls are an absolute pleasure to grow. They are on auto pilot still. They are getting some amazing colors on them. The purple with red and pink. So excited for the final weeks here. My favorite pheno may get cut next week and then the rest over another two weeks period I'd imagine.
These girls are the real deal. An absolute pleasure to grow. I was gone over Thanksgiving so this was the first time I hadn't watered within a 36 hour window. Went 2.5 days without water. The leaves were dropping down but after watering, this morning they look good as new.
Will prolly harvest one of the girls, my favorite, tonight because she looks pretty ready and I'm getting impatient and this will satisfy my urge. There is between 1-2% amber trichomes on the bud sites. I like a little higher but gotta let the other girls go a couple more weeks.
Thanks for stopping by! You all are great.
I was able to hold off of taking a girl out. On Wednesday I had a crazy event where my electrical cord button got turned off. There was no way anyone pressed it. So creepy. I turned them on after work and the girls got some light that day but not enough. Hopefully that doesn't effect the plants.
I'll pluck two of the girls tonight but leave the rest for 1-2 weeks further. Can't wait to try these girls. Thanks for stopping by!!
These girls made it nine weeks! It's been an absolute pleasure growing these girls. I removed a couple of the girls at the end of week eight. Then another girl this Wednesday. Now I've got five left. The big ones. They have more mass but not as much purple. I couldn't resist but think the purple ones were done. The trichomes were on point.
Now these girls trichomes are on point. I'll cut them down tomorrow night and dry for 10-14 days. Then trim jail...
It's finally come to an end. I cut these girls down and dried them for 10-12 days. Then dried trim jail. Which wasn't that bad as I didn't keep anything small. They are being cured in jars except one batch which are in a Grove bag. I wanted to test one and see what the hype is all about. But didn't want to put all my eggs in one basket.
Look at all the keef! This trim session yielded much keef and I'm gonna enjoy this for months to come!
The final product was amazing. I'm super pleased with theses genetics and will be running this or a daughter strain again.
