This week proved to be a bit stressful. I have commented on the amazing stretch this girl put in, and my attempts to keep her below the light. Sadly, I wasn't successful and notice some light burn on a few leaves and bleaching of some of the upper buds. I strapped the light to the very top of the tent, so there is not much else I can do. Lesson learned. Even though I am seeing some bleaching of the upper buds, the plant as a whole looks healthy and should be a good producer.
I topped off the nutrient solution daily, and adjusted the minor ph fluctuation every other day. Generally, I noticed I was running between 5.8 and 5.5 and would have to only use a small amount of ph up to adjust the solution. The night time temperature in my area has dropped to around 30f, so my nighttime tent temps are following suit, but still well within acceptable parameters. I will say that 5 plants in a 4.4 is too many for a DWC grow. In fact, I'm not sure I would want to grow more than 2 plants in DWC in the future. Time will tell.
@Rangaku, I'll know more after the cure, but so far I'm happy with it. It was a very uniform dry, and after two days of curing, the bud smells pretty gassy. I tried a sample and it was a smooth, and potent, hit. I'll know more in a week. Thanks for asking!
