@NordHaze, awesome, I understand. Could you please tell me if you know how to regulate leaf growth in a hydroponic system? I read about this in my textbook - the grower's bible by Jorge Cervantes. You inspired this thought when you mentioned excess nitrogen during flowering. I've been using pH perfect micro, grow, bloom for two years now. Everything seems fine, but I've started looking towards two-part nutrients for easier mixing. I was thinking of buying some from BAC, but they are also used together. So I bought coco and Sensi Coco grow, bloom in two bottles each, and according to the instructions, they are not used together. I suspect this also affects leaf growth...

@@dreambomber, I don't quite understand what you're talking about, but I can say that the Grower's Bible is already quite outdated material, a good foundation and truly a cult book. But nowadays, with quantum boards, LED boosters, and CO2, they feed during the vegetative stage at 1500ppm. Although in the same Grower's Bible, it says that 800ppm is the maximum concentration for the vegetative period.

@@dreambomber, I would recommend Flora Flex fertilizers and their coconut. Or their coconut and making your own salt-based fertilizers.

@@dreambomber, Mephisto Genetics is really interesting. The first branded seeds I got were Dutch Passion Brain Storm, and after trying it, I thought it was the most potent weed in the world, but that feeling kept coming back as I got to know the culture. I have a radically negative attitude towards autoflowers; I believe they should only be grown outdoors in regions with a short summer season. I grew a lot of autos from Dutch and Faust, but once in 2013, I was offered to buy a whole box filled with various seed packs from Pyramid Seeds, and it had almost their entire lineup at that time. I was simultaneously growing autoflowers: Kryptonite and Tutankhamon, and photoperiods: Kryptonite and Tutankhamon. In the end, the only advantage of autos is that they flower on their own and give a quicker yield. The buds of the autos are dwarfed compared to their photoperiod parents, there's less resin, the smell is more grassy, and the yield is smaller. The photoperiod Tutankhamon, after curing, gave a bright chocolate taste when smoked, while the autoflower only had a distant chocolate aftertaste. Overall, I sold off all the seeds back then and gave some to friends, keeping all the Tutankhamon and a few packs of Widow, Purple, New York, and a pack of Anubis (which for some reason was the only one in the whole box). Personally, I recommend completely giving up on autos indoors)))

@NordHaze, Wow! 2013, that's quite a bit of experience. I wanted to give up on autos earlier, but I have my reasons not to. I have two tents and I'm doing both at the same time, alternating. Interesting observation about the size of the buds. You mean the flower calyx, if I understood correctly. I agree about the taste - I compared autos and photos of glueberry og DP. I remember when I was deciding what to plant, I wanted Tutankhamun, which is a cross of AK47, but I changed my mind. Last time I did AK47 from Serious Seeds. I also did White Russian auto from Serious Seeds. They hit hard, like getting whacked in the head with a club, lol. :)

@Endemic, yes. The defoliation in the second week of pre-flowering clearly didn't sit well with him. But I can say that only Bad Guy grew some balls))). One of the Candy plants started developing buds on the leaf cuttings. Overall, they didn't really take to the wild training.
