20/08: have popped all seeds in a glass of water and they have gone into tent 2 this afternoon. some large looking seeds with strong tap roots showing. lights at 28 inches and at 30% - lets hope they crack soon so as to start week one veg properly. 17 WW X BB and a new and intriguing strain to me 1 Grandaddy Purple :) 24/08: pretty much all of the seedlings have popped the soil and are showing the first signs of leaves and cotyledons. we begin week one veg from today

28/08: good first week - was waiting impatiently for the plants to sprout which was down to my bad timing. otherwise all are out now and enjoying light at 50% and 23 inches away. turned on the oscillating fan for a soft breeze (lowest setting) - root juice in this week as usual and a bit of bio heaven

05/09: Last week of veg before flower - the plants have really shown up their leaves and im impressed with the growth in the last week of veg - thanks in no part im sure to bio grow that was added to the mix. some bending of the stalks in some plants and some deformed leaves which i assume is genetics but otherwise happy so far with this one.

02/10: about half of the tent is flowering really nicely showing the lovely crowns and pistils - however the other half havent yet started to produce the crowns - or they are being covered by possible heat stress. either way some plants are lagging slightly but otherwise happy with the way the tent is going.

why is half of the tent showing large crowns and pistils and the other isnt? and why are some plants suffering heat stress when they are all in the same tent?

First of all, plants are individuals... each one may react differently to the same set of conditions than the others. I don't understand the diagnosis of heat stress here - the temps are just fine - but I think your pots may be just too small and its the ROOTS that are getting too hot. 1/2 gallon pots aren't going to do your girls any good at all... pretty certain they've become root bound and this will lead to increasing difficulties... time to repot?! Good luck....

11/10: Most of the plants now have the crowns shooting out of the kolas and some have nicely developed pistils for their ages - nice heavy leaves aswell. Maybe need to have another chop back of the leaves aswell going forward - but so far so good no signs of pest or disease.

Some of the leafs in this tent have some odd white markings - and some appear to shine when tilted to or from the light - are these spider mite bites or something else? many thanks :)

Step 1: to kill current pests, Dead Bug Brew. Spray this over leaves and rub stalks. Be VERY diligent about this portion. It should take you 10-15 to completely clean your plant. Step 2: kill larve, active ingredient in neem seed meal, az_______. Use this as a soil drench Step 3: diatomaceous earth on top of soil and lower 3 inches of stalk Step 4: clean area around ALL plants and when this cycle is done. CLEAN EVERYTHING with a toothpick that has a scrub brush on it

30/10: I have taken out more plants leaving 12 - six of which will provide good quality bud - 6 will be made into oil - not happy with the turn out of this tent at all - but nevertheless we continue til the end. Have reduced the nutrients.
