Cold cold cold, cant shake the infernal cold..had 6 degrees in the room overnight...thats TOO COLD!!!! so I believe she has been stunted and is purpling too early. I was hoping we would have had warmer nights but as we had a late snowfall down country a week or so back its dropped the night time temperature to wholly unproductive levels. So im not sure she will have the momentum to go the full 60 days...im predicting 55. tops before she bows out. I lie to let the Og go full term if I can because all the weight comes in the last 10 days and I really enjoy her as a night time smoke...so amber trichomes are acceptable to me in this instance.
@@Alchemy_Aotearoa,OG kush is such a widely famous strain, only about 20% of new strains have no genetics from it, that's just my estimate, but almost all known strains have at least a little bit of OG kush in them. I've never had a pure OG kush plant, but I've had some hybrids thet were very very similar pheno types to it, smell, taste, structure, high, similarities with the original OG were 99%, maybe there was some difference, but I really couldn't tell. I will look maybe next season to find 1 OG kush, and see if there is any difference from the previous OG Kush pheno type I found from Pineapple Kush๐. Happy Grow man.๐
@Ancient_Genetics, Aw thanks mate! Dinafem got it right with this pheno... No doubt ..I did very little to set her up for this display. As mentioned earlier in this diary I really think this is a plant of class distinction..it has everything I need and expect from an OG Kush and even in such cold temps it's showing it's exceptional genetics.
Thanks for stopping by.
@Ancient_Genetics, I reckon you are right there. I dunno but can you not totally see where half of Cookies came from...? it was definitely this Pheno crossed with Durban Poison. The yellow pistils are classic Cookies (outdoors in NZ those yellow pistils become VERY purple almost red!) I just cant unsee GSC in those yellow pistils...real genetic origin story right here. Gosh I love OG
