First week of flowering is over and she's doing excellent, lots of happy little bud sites showing up.
Have decided to let her just fill in now, and not defoliate anymore (unless crucial for buds later on).
I've noticed a few spots on the leaves, but have also been using a little bit of foliar spray just before flowering (2ml/L alg-a-mic to water).
Did turn off the lights, but can guarantee that a few drops have been left on the leaves. So not really worried, yet.
Could use some opinions on it, so have added a couple of pictures. Some leaves looks like they were chewed on?? π
Anyway, she's getting more thirsty and I'm feeding roughly every 4 days now, with 3L per feed.
edit, changed my mind, defoliated and LST'ed again
Noticed that she seems very droopy in the mornings recently, but usually have picked up when I get back from work.
These pictures are from the droopy time in the mornings.
Also really running out of vertical room!! π
Following this one for the lst and defoliation advice that you will. Hopefully get... Doing my 1st autos and trying some lst myself used to defoliate photos loads with good success .... Lookin nice BTW
@aRecreationalist, I still the same with the lower sites... The lst has gone so well it's not particularly necessary I dont think... I'll see how they are weekend...... Really don't know what to expect from my lot and I'm definitely going to be pushed for space... Bigger tent needed ASAP π
@Mr_sheep, looks very good. Mine usually droops a little for about a day afterwards, but yours still look in great shape. I'm sure you did well, and that the hidden growth will enjoy it π
I'm still thinking about removing some more of the lower bud sites, but not an easy decision π
Looks great dude very nice. Careful on the heat and watch your nitrogen late into flower. Your leaves look very deep green. Trust me when I say you don't want nitrogen toxicity. Ruined my last harvest and my friend's too.
@Bstoner, I did, and they were almost 100% milky, but not a lot of amber. Would have liked a little more amber, but Im leaving the country for 10 days on friday. So needed to have the drying finished before then. Have someone that can burp the jars for me, but not control drying and cut off the buds :(
Nice bro lots of development. I use the same calmag as you and in the end when we some all the supps N becomes high, in my case i have to be even more carefull as i use FF! If you can have a look on the trichomes. ππ»ππ»
@CANNASIM, just made myself an NPK calculator (gotta love excel). It seems like my current feed has an NPK of: 19 - 20,5 - 36.
Half of the N comes from the Calmag and the other half from the Biobizz Bloom.
@CANNASIM, thanks man. I'm checking the trichomes daily by now, so I can see how fast the color is coming and start flushing in time. Will do an N calculation later today :)
Looking very nice, lots of buds and very defined. The pistols turning amber is normal, it depends also in the conditions and strain, keep an eye on the trichomes with a magnifying lens to see at which point is she.
@GardenOfHerbs, Thanks man, and I agree she really is a good looking girl.. and developing decent bouquet. I'll read a little more up on the CalMag, I remember something about stopping as far as 2-3 weeks before flush.
@420_liquidsun, I have actually stopped completely checking my pH values. Been reading a lot up on the Biobizz nutes, and they seem to be able to handle a bigger +/- pH value than other nutes. Besides I'm not sure regulating the pH wouldn't be more harmful to the micro-organisms.
Haven't seen any pH related issues either π
Hey brow! Try not overdoing the defoliation in this stage. The lower buds that don't have enough light become popcorn like... Cheers happy growing π
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, Thanks man, she sure is a leafy strain/pheno! π
Can't wait to see how she takes to flowering, hopefully she will have switched by then end of week 6 π
