DankGenes Just recovering after topping twice and a too vigorous lollipop trim after returning from a holiday and being very caned. Been on 12|12 for a week and they are responding well to getting fed under the net (lst'd?)

DankGenes I did a mixture of topping and FIM'ing on the plants and the FIM method definitely worked on the macarons with almost too many shoots slowly growing from the cut crowns, Definitely going to turn in furtive bushes as described by TH Seeds.

Starting week 4 since turning to 12|12. Been flowering for around 1-2 weeks now depending on strain. Plucked a few leaves out due to overlapping and was wondering whether now would be a good time to go through my plants and give them a session of defloration?

Hello ! Do you mean defoliation ? Or really defloration? Anyway you can cut the lower stems which won't get much light and will lead to popcorn buds. The defoliation is not really recommended after 4 weeks in 12/12 , but you can still cut one or two leaves if they are blocking the light to some budsites but you can also knit your leaves together if you don't want to cut them. DankGenes These chunky little things are going to be lovely. A lot of buds forming below the canopy which are now getting light after a little defloration. No real smell at the moment.

DankGenes The plants have started to change colour, from a beautiful deep green to a purple which leeches in to near black. Lots of growth under the bushy main canopy which leads me to think I might crop in stages. another 2/3 weeks to go still though by the looks of things. The smell is beautiful. Very sweet, very tasty.

I'm week 6 on a French Macaron and our plant and bud structure are identical. Typical cookies genetics I tried hard to stretch mine I kept it miles from the light but the stocky, thick stemmed, huge leafed genetics wanted to be bushy. I had to defoliate a ton from the inner plant. Is there a way to send a picture through growdiaries?

@MallorcaBreeders, thanks! Yours look really good too! I think I am 3 weeks ahead of you so you can see how mine progress :) I haven't had any problems at all besides having to deflower over the last week or so due to it being overly leafy.

@Tonino, thanks. They are settling in well. The group are definitely showing different genes and this is going to be like a bush. No stretching at all. Kinda reminds me of a caricature of a canna leaf.
