Well, things have definitely bounced back. I have already learned a lot about dwc through this grow.
I have come to realize my tap water is no good for bennies. Pumping air through the water for a few days works to get out the chlorine and most of the chloramene, but to lessen the possibility of killing my bacteria I have been only topping up rather than doing a full res change.
It may sound bad to never empty and clean the res, but actually the enzymes keep things decently clean. Twice now that I have done res changes I have gotten root rot after, though I was not aerating the water before hand at that point. Since I have started aerating and only topping up, the ecosystem has been thriving.
As you can see, I moved them into the 4x8 under the se7000. Once they bounce back from the rot they went straight into stretch and one of the branches was literally touching my sf2k with no space to move it up.
I moved everything over and installed the trellis net, at the time they were starting to droop from the stress of moving the system, so training them out was very easy. The branches were flexible and none broke.
Even though it's not the most dense canopy I've seen, it is pretty much filling a 4x4 space and has plenty of bud sites. Should be a decent harvest in about another month.
@Inganjawetrust, nice!
I got these as freebies when I ordered planet of the grapes fem. I may have to see if they have photos of this cultivar... the terps are amazing. Smells like tropical fruit from outside the grow room even with carbon filter.
