Seedlings have sprouted nicely and are looking healthy with minimal amount of stretch. Will just keep them moist by giving them a light spray with tap water PH at 6 - 6.5.
Noticed light bleaching on one of the (tall) pineapple chunks raised the light a few inches seems to be sorting the problem out over the last few days, fingers crossed will all be on track again soon. Also haven't waterd much last few days due to was worried might be overwatering.
All plants had their first small nutrient feeding and are looking like they are going to start quickly vegging 🤞🏽. Will give them a second feeding in 2-3 days . Also gave all plants a spray of canna cure due to noticing the tiny white spots on the auto seeding a few days ago. Will repeat the process again in 3 days and assess if needs to be done again the following week. Mutant leaves are stiff enough to tuck behind each other to expose new growth without stressing the plant too much at this stage.
Going to start doing these comments at the end of the week of each week now.
Not much to report anyway, all plants seem to be growing nicely. Gave pineapple chunks a quarter feeding in-between normal feeds just so not to cut the nutrients outcompletely.
Autos have still not had any nutrients and have just been given water to keep soil from drying. I am roughly watering between 3-4 days.
The next nutrient I will be giving the autos is the bloom based products of the advance nutrient range (sensi bloom) along with the other micro nutrients.
Also introduced a small 500w heater on a temperature plug set between 21°c-24°c to combat the upcoming cold months.
Week 5 went well see some more growth which I can't really complain about. Spider mites seem to have come back and started to invade which means CANNA CURE spray every 3 days until im satisfied that they are dying/gone, then it's going to be a weekly spray up until flower to then asses where to go from there.
Appart from all that transplanted the pineapple chunks into final 56L pots.......yes 56L! ordered the wrong size pots but decided to go with it anyway and so far they seem to have hardened off again and are liking it so 🤞🏽 from here.
Turned on the auto put system for the ZKITTLEZ OG's and filled the resivour with 40L of PHed water and added 50% nutrients.
Pineapple chunks have been given a 100% nutrient feeding being given 1L each.
Week went well for the plants, don't think I had a spider mite problem which is great not seeing any webbing and no more bits but seem to have soil mites lurking about. Supposedly they do t cause any damage but they are not nice to see among the plants, I will treat the plants with a neem oil solution to see if that will get rid of them, but for now will see how they might benefit the soil.
Appart from the minor mite problem all plants seem to be doing well not much watering for the big pots due to they hold water for DAYS!!
one of the ZKITTLEZ OG Auto have started to produce pistons which really means only one thing 🌺 flower time, which I don't think is a good thing at this stage as she is a bit small but oh well! Another 3 plants to hopefully add to the yield.
Speak you next week people!
ZKITTLEZ OG Auto have both started to flower so just sit back and let the autopot stytem do its work. They have been given sensi bloom A+B throughout their life aswell as the other micro nutes listed above.
The pineapple chunks are still growing ( well one of them ) and have been given the exact nutrients shown above. One of them seems to be struggling and I am still trying to figure out what would cause the slow/stunted growth.
In all still happy with the progress of the plants the ZKITTLEZ OG #1 will probably be first to harvest so grow Grow GROW!!!!
Another week went well the auto pots are doing their business a d the plants seem very happy.
Only filling up the resivour about a quarter of the way so I can refresh the system every 10-14 days.
Pineapple chunks (photoperiods) are needing a more frequent hand feeding and also seem to be doing fine.
More defoliation is needed as the days go on.
Zkittlez #1 has been building some nice bud structure and is starting to smell really nice up close.
Zkittlez #2 has seemed to stop stretching as much measuring at 3 ft 5 for now can't raise the light an more so hopefully that will be the end of the stretch and time for her to focus on bud structure.
There are lots of bud sites building on her too many to count now which is a brilliant thing to say XD.
The 2 pineapple chunk photoperiods are still developing nicely in their negative state and have been undergoing L.S.T to keep the canopy low and even. planning to do a 100 day veg on them (hopefully just enough time for both Zkittlez to mature and then harvest) and then FLIP!
starting to give all plants a weekly spray of Canna-cure to help prevent any infestations.
This is the last time I will be adding nutrients to the resivour. When the next resivour refresh is needed it will just be water PHed at 6.2-.6.8.
Hopefully after about 10-14 days it will be ready for the chop and dry.
Photoperiod (pineapple chunks) are getting close to their 100 day veg and as soon as the autos are chopped out I will be flipping the light schedule to 12-12.
Good for my first grow one grew little and one grew large glad to see both plants grow together and so different.
Dry weights:-
. ZKITTLEZ OG Auto #1= 13.5g
. ZKITTLEZ OG AUTO #2= 154g
Now we wait for the dry, hung all plants in a dry tent with RH set at 55-60% and 15-16°c
UPDATE: Both plants dried nicely the small ones took about 5 days and the big one took 14 days, now time for the cure process in the grove bags, hopefully I don't smoke it all before it's had a proper cure.
The big pineapple chunk is definatley in flower , not too Shure about the smaller one yet hopefully later next week I will see some pistils.
Been very low RH due to cold weather and only having 1 humidifier which I am currently using for my dry tent (Priorities)!
Chunks have done well on their second week of flower some nice bud sites coming along for the tall one I think the mutant Is a few days behind but still looking healthy.
Believe another week went well, going to start giving just flawless finish from now on along with water PH'ed at 5.8- 6.4 should she a nice colour change in the next couple weeks.
Both plants have just been recieving water PH'ed at 6.0 and advance nutrients flawless finish. Looking to chop the bigger plant in a few days and going to let the smaller one go a bit longer.
Te aconsejo tierra de diatomeas + jabin potasico, tuve una plaga y desde entonces siempre uso, puedes ver mis plantas ahora libres de insectos. Un saludo
