Seedsman Black Sugar and White Widow Fem

8/31- W.W. is pushing out its second set of leaves. She's looking a bit leggy, so I may need to add some silica to her diet to thicken her up. The second Bl. Sugar seed took root and has risen above the soil surface. On a more interesting note, I was going through my seed bank last night and stumbled upon some Super Lemon Haze Autos and was thinking about popping two or three and chucking them in with the photos, letting them finish completely, and then flipping the photos. That way, I'll maximize my yield with a 90 day veg. I'll have the space to do so, I was planning on mainlining the photos so there'll be plenty of room to let two autos run wild. Who knows what I will do? Certainly not me. 9/1- Lights came on, I did my checks noticed baby crickets hopping around on the surface of the soil. Wtf?? I don’t know how they got there but I’m going to get some insecticidal soap to try and wipe them out. *Note to self: never use old soil again, it’s full of undesirable qualities.* Also, W.W. is struggling to hold herself up. 9/2- Didn’t see any crickets when the lights came on today; hopefully that means the ones I squished yesterday were the only ones. Might’ve come from leftover eggs in the soil, who knows? W.W. still slumped over, so I made a little mound of soil at her base to provide support. Bl. Sugar is progressing nicely, just have to keep in mind she’s about a week behind. 9/4- Growth of W.W. is favorable. The secondary set of leaves are growing rapidly, and the tertiary set will most likely be lying flat in the next couple days. Bl. Sugar is growing quite slowly, I must say. I don’t know if it’s due to the possible N deficiency I mentioned last week (with the old soil), but I’m going to top-dress with some dry crumble, hopefully the 6-10-1 will perk her up.
