TUESDAY 7/31/2018 This is a continuation of my "1st grow in 25 years" diary. This seed got wet on June 12th and sprouted on the 15th. I am not sure about it's genetics, but it's obviously very indica and "Kush-y." Today is the end of week 5 for her. Prior to this week, I've referred to it as "Mystery Seedling" or "Mystery Plant." It is still not showing any signs of pre-flowering yet, so I'll treat it separately and probably re-pot in a 10g and move it outdoors to finish...or...once it's showing me some pistils (hopefully), I might take a shitload of cuttings from her and buy another small tent for photoperiod varieties like this and the two Pineapple Express seeds I was recently gifted. Reconsidered...autos are just too easy to be messing around with photos. I have neither the time nor the patience. Therefore, any photo varieties that I inadvertently grow, like this plant and maybe the two PE's in my other diary if they refuse to flower, will be moved outdoors. I'll get another small tent (4 x 4) just for vegging autos until they are big enough to justify taking space (or until enough space opens up) in my 4' x 5' "flowering chamber."..keep that shit going year-round. WEDNESDAY: still no pre-flowers. I douched it with about a half gallon of ph'd water, grow big, bud candy, and calmag today. Did some foliar feeding too. THURSDAY: I SAW A BUMP! Keeping an eye on it...

MONDAY 8/6: Looking female...still watching! TUESDAY: I assembled her new tent and hooked everything up. The new light is bright, and mostly daylight, but with a slight pink hue..but in photos it looks ridiculously pink...using photoshop to filter them a bit. I mixed up a gallon of 1/2 strength grow nutes for her and the two Pineapple Express seedlings. Foliar feedings twice today- WEDNESDAY: She loves the new 1500w COB light..really perked up after getting pole position under it...that and a good douching with nutrients. I sure hope it's a girl..killer genetics, whatever the hell it is... THURSDAY: This sprout got planted exactly 2 months ago today. Foliar feeding only today. FRIDAY: foliar feeding and rotated. Split a gallon of ph'd water between this plant and the two PE's, just a little drinky-winky.. SATURDAY: Already dry today...new ventilation really moves some air, and the warmer than desired temperatures will be a pain for another month or so. I split 2 gal of 1/2 strength grow nutes between this plant and the two PE's SUNDAY: Damnit... PH pen not working and I'm out of ph test liquid too! New photos coming soon..

MONDAY: It's definitely a girl! She has female preflowers on at least 4 of her very many branches!!! She and the PE's got a good root drench today..mostly boomerang and calmag with a little bud candy (I like keeping my bitches on a high carb diet) TUESDAY: Because my main grow is finishing up so quickly, I'll be able to move all my new 11(ish) WW auto and CC seedlings into the big tent and I will take around a dozen cuttings and use my new veg tent to fill the 4 x 4 with the mother and her clones until my next main tent grow is finished (around the first week of October or sooner). Then I will use the main tent to flower all of the Kuspialidicious at once...at least, that's the plan for now. WEDNESDAY: Started shopping for the stuff I'll need to clone this fat lady. Foliar fed and whispered sweet nothings to her. She has about 16 good branches suitable as cuttings, but I really only need about 10 or 12. What a big beautiful bush she will become! THURSDAY: I spent most of my time with the bloomers and new sprouts, but she got 2 foliar feedings and I spun her around for different light angles. FRIDAY: Really looking forward to taking some clones from her. I ordered all the necessary gear and supplies. I've only ever cloned using rockwool cubes, but I'm gonna try HydroDynamics Root Riot cubes because I see so many others having such great success with them and I rarely ever successfully rooted more than about 75% of the cuttings I've taken in the past. SATURDAY: I neglected her today..nothing but a little spring water misting while I was spraying all the new sprouts. I'll do some slicing and dicing on her in the next couple of days. SUNDAY: I mixed up a gallon of veg nutes for her today. She was thirsty..hardly any runoff.

MONDAY 8/20: I moved her into the big tent today, right under a cxb3590 and all kinds of peripheral light. I got my cloning rig together and the clonex arrived today. Just waiting on the slab of 1.5" x 1.5" rockwool cubes or the RapidRooter plugs to arrive. I ordered both..leaning rockwool because it's all I've ever used, but who knows.. This plant doesn't like being watered heavily at all....she's a little droopy today after yesterday's 1 gallon nutrient drench. Just a little drinky-winky from now on...and that goes for all the clones I'm gonna take from her tomorrow. Hopefully she's a little more perky tomorrow..I am determined to get 15 more of her growing (and flowering) ASAP! TUESDAY: I took 15 cuttings from her today and she never even noticed... WEDNESDAY: I doted on her progeny and spun her around under her cxb3590. THURSDAY: The grodan cubes I ordered came in today..I might take another 5 cuttings or so tomorrow. She got about 2 pints of ph'd water today. Cuttings are all looking good. She's spreading out even more since I took the cuttings.

MONDAY: Taking all those cuttings last week seems to have really triggered her auxins, all branches are stretching, even the ones I cut from, but her main is reeeaaalllly stretching.. I think I'm gonna have to either top her or supercrop her. I've got to keep her height down so she isn't too much of a pain to deal with in a tent full of her little clones. this fall. Or maybe I'll just stick her in a closet somewhere and keep about 15 watts on her all winter long, then take some more cuttings to put outdoors? I wish I know for sure how well she smelled/tasted/intoxicated. I'd hate to learn she's a super-plant and not be able to grow her again... WEDNESDAY: I gave her a drink of water with bud candy and calimagic and started foliar feeding with Flower's Kiss. THURSDAY: I checked her clones today...4 have rooted very well and going into 3 gal pots tomorrow. Foliar fed her and told her how beautiful she looks. FRIDAY: I gave her a gallon of grow nutes including Microbe Brew and also started her on Terpinator. I planted 7 of her clones in 3 gallon (white) fabric pots today. They are sharing the 4 x 4 tent with the 6 x White Widow + 1 x Candy Cane seedlings for now. SATURDAY: I planted 7 of her clones today in 3 gallon (white) fabric pots. I added two new blue/cold white LED panels to the 4 x 4 tent. They are kickass. Very low heat and excellent coverage. The 2 lights is overkill for this space, but I like it....a lot. So much so, that I will order 4 of them in 660nm deep red for flowering..two for the 4 x 4 and two for the 5 x 4. I also bought and installed a 16' string of 300 Cold White (7000k)/Warm White (2800k) strip lights(150 each). It has a remote control which lets me change over to warm white for flowering...or have steady cold white and pulse warm white..or whatever. I think that they will serve as excellent low-heat side/corner lighting. Kinda pricey because in addition to the lights, you have to buy a controller and power supply, but they seem very effective. I plan to order another set for the 4 x 4 tent. But, it's a double-row set (600 leds) ..one row of lights is warm white, and the other is RGB adjustable, so I can run 440nm blues for veg and 660nm reds for flower. I plan to keep them just below the canopy so as to illuminate the secondary and tertiary buds as much as possible. Once this concept is proven (and once I save the money), I'll do the same thing in the 4 x 5 tent. Update: Ok, so I've decided I'm only kinda happy with the strip lights.. I've decided to try velcroing 4 of those 4' integrated led tube lights in cold white for veg and warm white for flower to my horizontal poles. The cold white(6500k) are 2-rows of lights that pull 36w and put out 3000 lumens each and the warm white(2700) are single row pulling 24w at 2200 lumens each.

MONDAY 9/4: She's looking unhealthy..I think she's rootbound, which is not good..😟 I'm not switching to 12/12 for another month, so she's got a ways to go yet. Tomorrow I will transplant her into a 8 or 10gal pot. Her clones, with the exception of 2, look pretty rough, too.😕 I just can't seem to keep the humidity high enough in the tent for them. I guess I should have left them in the chamber for a few more days...it's fluctuating from 50-60% and it really needs to be more like 75-80% I think.

MONDAY 9/10: I fed her Microbe Brew and a big dose of Boomerang twice last week and she's still sickly looking, so tonight I bought a 10g pot to transplant her into. I'll do that tomorrow. I've tried not to feed her much Nitrogen so she doesn't get too big..I don't want her so tall I can't work with her..she'll already be 10x bigger than her clones as it is. I may even top her once she's acting healthier. So, once space is at a premium in the small tent, I'll move the clones into the big tent with their mamma and the Pineapple Express. The PE should be finished up by the end of September or first week of October. At that point, I'll hopefully have the 15 Kushpialidocious clones at 12" and bushy + their big mamma in my 4' x 5' tent. Then I'll be able to switch to 12/12 and start making a bunch of Kushpialidocious flowers for Christmas presents!😇 TUESDAY: I was busy harvesting another plant yesterday, so she's still in the 5g pot....TOMORROW!👈 I've been pumping up the lighting and adding 1/3 strength Boomerang + Flower's Kiss to ph'd spring water for the healthiest of the cuttings and they LOVE IT. If I can get a good 10" of growth out of them in the next few weeks, I'll be stoked. I took another 5 cuttings from her a few days ago and they are doing much better in rockwool than the first batch did in rapid rooter plugs... When will I ever learn?? .....when something really matters, always go with what you know... WEDNESDAY: I transplanted mamma-Kushpi into the 10g pot today...wow was she ever rootbound.. I'm sure she's gonna go apeshit now, so I'll definitely be topping the hell out of her in the next few days. I gave her a gallon of nutes with extra boomerang and microbe brew. I wish I had some Kangaroots..will order some ASAP. All the clones in the tent are growing, some faster than others. The last 4 clones from the first batch ain't gonna make it, but the most recent 4 look great...already seeing some rooting activity in just 5 days. THURSDAY: No shock from the transplant, but that rootball is so tight that she hasn't figured out she can grow deeper yet.. All but one of the clones are looking good, and it even has some new growth. FRIDAY: I ignored mamma-Kushpi today, but doted on her clones. Everybody was misted with nutes a few times today, and I split 2 gallons of ph'd water with bud candy and a little boomerang between the 7 seedlings and 10 cuttings in the small tent. SATURDAY: Mamma-Kushpi still hasn't perked up like I hoped she would. I don't think her taproot is finding all that new soil down below...😟 I've just about decided to move her outdoors to finish. As Indica as it seems to be, it should flower and finish pretty quickly considering the time of year, and it will be infinitely easier to manage 14 same-height clones in the big tent without that big bitch in there eclipsing my sun.👈

MONDAY 9/17: Okay, so this diary is changing... The original Kushpialidocious (mamma) is just too big to try to manage her along with 13-15 of her clones, even in the 4x5 tent. So, she will be put into 'stasis' for the next month in a closet with about 50w of blue/white light while I finish up my autoflower crop in the small tent. At that point in time, I'll move mamma-Kushpi into the small tent and put her on 12/12...and she'll hopefully be harvested by Christmas. Therefore...all stats and information in this diary will be related to ONLY the Kushpialidocious clones for the next month or so. I added a third Exhale bag to the small tent today, so that's 2 x 365's, and one XL in a 4 x 4 space. What's cool is that I'm using many low-watt lights, so my heat is minimal and I'm able to keep it zipped up and the main ventilation off. My CO2 PPM's are holding at about 1350 until I open the tent!!! Pink Floyd said it best......"Breathe...Breathe in the air..." TUESDAY: So...much...growth! The first planted clones are already almost as big as my biggest seedlings. Grow babies, grow. I gave the cuttings and seedlings 2.5gals of ph'd water doday..along with a little calimagic, bud candy, boomerang, and terpinator. I had two more cuttings ready for dirt, so I planted them today. That's 12 total, with two still in the chamber. I added more light today, so we're up to about 415w total light for the majority of the day, and kicking on the 1500w (360w actual) for an hour a day. 2 x 50w blue/white par38 spots (26w actual each) 2 x 50w blue/white panels (22w actual each) 1 x 150w blue/white panel (74w actual) 1 x 40w(actual) Sansi daylight white par38 2 x 38w (actual) cool white 4' tubes 2 x 9w (actual) full spectrum pink tubes 1 x 18w (actual) warm white 4' tube 1 x 16' SMD 5050 cool white strip light (96w actual) It seems to be working pretty damn well. WEDNESDAY: I planted the next to last cutting today. It was rooted pretty well in the rockwool. My tent humidity has dropped quite a bit since adding all the new lights, so I'm hoping these last 3 that got planted can hang in there and get a taproot deeper into their pots before they dry up.🙏 But, even if they don't make it, I'll be fine... managing 12 plants in the 4 x 5 tent will be a challenge as it is.. I replaced my 2 x 50w blue/white par38 spots with 5 x 150w (12w actual) Miracle LED 475nm blue bulbs..less heat/better coverage. RH about 45%, CO2 ppm's holding around 1350, temps in the high 80's. Mamma-kushpi continues to look like shit.. THURSDAY: Mamma-Kushpi got a gallon of slightly weakened nutes early in the day and moved into the darkest recesses of my tent to curb her growth a little. She's still not looking very healthy. If I can get her back on her feet, I'll cut her waaaaay down and move her to a closet with some low-watt blue/cold white light to chill until the auto seedlings finish in the small tent, which should be around the first week or two of November. Then she'll FINALLY get her chance to flower in the 4 x 4, so she can spread out and I won't give a shit.👍 I say that, but today I plantd the last of the 14 clones...I'm gonna have hell managing 14 clones in the 4 x 5 tent, even if 12 of them are in 3gal pots and two of them are in 2gal pots.., so I may end up moving a few into the small tent with their mamma to finish. The first-planted clones are kicking ass. I may top a couple of them tomorrow to try and keep them all about the same height. I gave them all about 32oz of full strength nutes in ph'd water today and did a few foliar feedings. FRIDAY: I didn't top or FIM anybody today...maybe tomorrow. I added another 45w of light to the tent today and moved all the lights closer to the canopy..8-12" ..and rearranged to keep the shorties in pole position. A couple of foliar feedings only today. SATURDAY: I set up the 4 x 5 tent for vegging and moved all the clones into it. They're getting the following light 24/0: -- 1 x 75w blue/white panel in the center (48w actual) -- 4 x 50w blue/cold white spots (25w actual each) -- 4 x 150w Miracle LED blues in corners (12w actual each) -- 4 x 38w (actual) dual-row cool white 4' tube lights -- all 4 of the 3500k COB's (2 x cree cxb3590 + 2 x citizen clu048) (220w actual total) Total draw at the wall: 560w I gave them all about 32oz of ph'd water with calimagic, bud candy, terpinator, and a liitttle boomerang, foliar fed them, and kissed them goodbye.😙 Mamma-Kushpi is out of the tent and sitting all alone with about 27w of blue/white light on her. I'm gonna do a major root drench on her tomorrow while I'm making bubble hash and then prune the hell out of her.😷 She's just got to be patient for a month while I finish up the autos in the small tent, then it's 12/12 for her...finally.😁 SUNDAY: Life crept in and I wasn't able to make bubble hash or do the root drench on her, but I just couldn't stand seeing Mamma-Kushpi outside the tent by herself, so I made room in the big tent with her clones...but considering the rate of growth on the clones, that won't last for long. Everybody was foliar fed a few times today, and I gave a few ounces of distilled water to the freshly-planted clones and regaled fantastical stories of how big and strong they would grow to be someday. 😉

MONDAY 9/24: All the clones got about 32oz of ph'd water with full strength grow nutes, plus some kangaroots and microbe brew. They were foliar fed a couple times today and are currently listening to the Cowboys from Hell album by Pantera. So much new growth that I've decided to start flowering them tomorrow. Even the most recently planted clones have new growth today, but I'll prob move them into the small tent with the autos for a few more days before putting them back into the 12/12 tent. Mamma-Kushpi got a 2 gallon drench of kangaroots, microbe brew, calimagic, and boomerang. Her lower growth actually looks much healthier today, but the mains are still sickly. If she is a little perkier tomorrow, I'll prune her waaaaay back and start bushing-her-up really well before she goes into the small tent to flower. TUESDAY: I flipped the switch to 12/12 on the clones in the big tent. I swapped out all 8 of the supplemental blues for reds and put the 1500w x5 COB (pinkish) in the center of the 4 x 3500k COBs. I'm still running the 4' cool white lights on my side bars, but have 6 x 2700k-3000k warm white 4' lights on the way. I topped the tallest clone and FIM'd the second tallest. Depending on how much the rest of them stretch now that they are flowering, I may end up doing a few more to keep their heights the same. Mamma-kushpi got hacked to pieces today. I pretty much cut her in half. I put her under a blue/white panel in the small tent with the autos because I don't want her to start flowering just yet.. WEDNESDAY: Mamma-Kushpi perked right up after her ordeal. If I can keep her vegging for another few weeks, I think she'll make a pound or more once I let her flower. Gazillions of shoots! I split about 4 gallons of ph'd water with bud candy, terpinator and calimagic with all the clones. Excellent vigor and lower branching on them. THURSDAY: Just spun her around and misted her a few times with flower's kiss. FRIDAY: Gave mamma a gallon of veg nutes and spun her around..misted her a few times with flower's kiss. Clones are looking awesome..starting to preflower.👍 I split 2.5 gallons of nutrient-rich water among the clones, with ph adjusted to 6.2. This was their first taste of Tiger Bloom. SATURDAY: All clones are in the flower tent now, even the little ones in 2 gal pots. Why can't I remember not to give Mamma-Kushpi too much water at a time?? She droops for a day afterwards, even in her new 12 gal deep pot... I apologized to her and promised her that I'd let her flower soon...😏 SUNDAY: holding pattern for Mamma watered the clones and inspected

MONDAY: OMG...NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😮 One of the clones is looking MALE!!!..and if one is, then probably...NO!!!!!!!!!! TUESDAY: Looking more masculine every day.....it just can't be....they are specimen plants and their mamma showed me a couple of pistils 2 months ago!!! NO!!!!!!!!!!😦 WEDNESDAY: Almost positive that I'll be killing them all tomorrow...so fucking sad..😥 THURSDAY: Well, they were all either fully male or hermaphrodites...I killed all those beautiful clones, mixed and recharged the soil and readied the pots for the next crop...the soil was thoroughly wetted with my tears..😭 I'm not sure if I fucked the clones up, or if I fucked the mamma up months ago before I took the cuttings, so I've got mamma all by herself in the big tent on 12/12 to see what she does...😶 FRIDAY: I'm still very depressed over having to kill all my beautiful clones and at the prospect of killing the mamma as well...so much time, energy, tent space, and love(and money) went into growing that crop. Never again will I grow unfeminized photoperiod seeds. Why bother? I wouldn't have even tried these except they came from some excellent dro I had already smoked some of.. SATURDAY: Mamma-kush still not flowering...prolonging my sadness. The photoperiod freebies I have coming with my Seedsman order are at least all feminised, but I'll probably wait a couple crops to go that route. I will grow all 6 to maturity and take about 15 cuttings to fill my big tent, then regenerate those 6 in the small tent for a second run.

MONDAY 10/8: It's been under 12/12 for 4 days now..showing signs, but still too soon. TUESDAY: Pistils are poppin', but I don't trust her not to pop some nanners too, so I'm watching closely...prolly move her outside to finish..far away from my auto crop.

SUNDAY: Male flowers popping up all over it.. How can it be that every clone (14) I took was male, yet this he-bitch is 50/50 male/female?? I'm not even gonna bother taking it outside..fuck this plant!👿 This crop is DONE.
