9/2/22
The seeds were placed in a shot glass with filtered water to initiate germination. The glass was set in the grow tent with no light for 24 hours.
9/3/22
The seeds have been placed in peat pellets, expanded in filtered water. Placed the propagation tray on a heating pad set to low. Under a 15 watt Sansi bulb 12” from the surface of the pellets. Both the heating pad and light are set on an 18/6 timer.
9/7/22
Installed the new Mars Hydro TS3000, 20" above the plants at about 20%
9/8/22
And we have the first sprout!
9/9/22
Started Fox Farm Big Bloom while they are still in the peat pellets.
9/11/22
Light was boosted from 20% to 25%.
9/12/22
Adjusted the light height according to the plant's growth.
9/13/22
Placed into 5 gallon AC Infinity pots, using Fox Farms Ocean Forest and 25% perlite. Adjusted light height, set up the humidifier for 75%.
9/16/22
Just giving small amounts of water daily, going to hold off on nutrients for a couple weeks, as it was planted right into Ocean Forest. Definitely taking off well, and hoping it's a female.
9/25/22
Nothing too exciting yet, it isn't quite growing as quick as it's predecessor, but it's going. It's been getting heavy misting rather than straight up waterings. Still not adding nutrients yet, I will begin that next week.
9/26/22
The plant got it's first full watering today, 1 liter of warm-isn water. Increased the light intensity to about 30%. Reduced humidity to 68%
9/28/22
Gave another liter of water.
9/30/22
Increased the light intensity to 50%
10/2/22
Gave her the first dose of nutrients in the soil. Mixed up some Big Bloom and Grow Big, gave one liter.
10/6/22
Topped the plant.
10/8/22
Watered with plain water, no nutrients. Adjusted light to be 45 cm from the plant. Used metal stakes to train a couple of the lower branches to grow outward a bit from under the canopy. The two branches are forming nicely where it was topped.
10/9/22
She was almost dry already, watered with nutrient blend.
10/11/22
Watered with 1.5 liters of plain water. Did a second topping and adjusted the training for the lower branches.
10/16/22
Watered with nutrients, adjusted the light height.
10/17/22
Removed some of the larger fan leaves that were blocking future bud sites and airflow around the base. Only needed to trim 8 leaves, these are BEASTS! It's looking like I may do one more week of veg just to get a couple branches a bit taller before going to flower.
10/18/22
Adjusted and added a bit more strings for LST to open up near the main stalk so the nodes there get a bit more light in. I'll see where it is on 10/21 and decide if I want to wait another week to flower.
10/20/22
Adjusted the light again and gave her more water. Definitely looking good to start flower.
10/21/22
Reset the lights to 12/12 and increased the intensity to 75% and brought the humidity down to 60%. The top branches on the main stem are looking well developed and will shoot up in the next week or two. Looking forward to see how well she does in flower mode!
10/22/22
Noticed some early signs of potassium deficiently, adjusted the fertilizer mix to add a bit more into the feeding cycle.
10/23/22
She's definitely seeing a growth spurt.
10/25/22
Defoliated a bit more, adjusted some of the branches and the height of the light, she's been a lot thirstier this week.
10/28/22
Gave her some nutrients and adjusted the lights. Starting to see the transition to flower in the growth. She's definitely bulked up a bit in the past week.
10/31/22
Seeing a major increase in water demand. The stretch seems to be nearing the end. Seeing more pistils starting to show up all over the tops. The branches didn't really thicken up as much as I had hoped, so some netting is in the near future.
11/1/22
Starting to get a bit of smell when I open the tent, she's well on her way to a good flowering. She's been a bit slower than her sister, but can't wait to see how this one turns out. Had to adjust light height again.
11/3/22
Put the scrod net in place and got the plant mostly set where it'll be until harvest. Just going to do some touching up on defoliation of the bottom in a couple days.
11/4/22
Watered with nutrients, adjusted the light height and a couple branches that were reaching up a bit too much. There are more and more pistils every day now and the buds are getting bigger. From here, I think she'll be good to do her own thing, leaving me with just watering.
11/11/22
She's definitely getting well on into flower. The buds are starting to take shape and growing. I've tucked a few leaves under where needed to increase light to lower buds. Added some molasses to the mix for a bit of a boost. If this is anything like the last run with this strain, it'll be about 3 more weeks of flowering before harvest.
11/19/22
The buds are starting to shape up a bit more. The pistils are starting to darken and the leaves are starting their fade. This will be the last week I use any nutrients for her, getting to the end of the run and quite pleased with how well this is doing under the TS3000. Not going to see much of a yield, so I doubt I'll run these genetics again, same happened with the last run.
11/28/22
Things kinda got away from me this week with the holiday, so I'm about halfway through the week. She's been getting water only as needed, no more nutrients. Getting a fair bit of fade in the leaves, pistils are darkening at a faster rate. The end is near! I was hoping for the end of next week, but she may need one additional week.
12/4/22
She's definitely in full fade. Starting to see some amber in the trichomes on most of the buds. It's looking like I may be aiming for harvest next week. She's getting water only, and definitely producing quite a bit more than the last one of this strain I did.
12/6/22
Today is the last day she will be getting light. Going to be harvesting on 12/9.
12/9/2022
Harvest day arrived! Cut the plant at the base, removed some of the largest fan leaves, and hung it up to dry. Set the tent to 60-65˚F at 55-60% humidity. It looks like I'll be just around 100 gram mark, but won't be sure until I get it trimmed up.
12/19/2022
She isn't quite dried yet, almost there. Zero signs of mold or rot.
12/26/2022
After 15 days of drying, she's finally ready! Got 2.5 ounces off her, and about 2 oz of trim. There was a lot of fluff and tiny flowers that went into the trim pile, definitely not a high yield plant. Going to cure it for a month at least.
