Day 1 - Put seed in water for 24 hours.
Day 2 - Seed popped in water. Planted seed in small cup using BioBizz AllMix. Placed dome on cup to keep humidity up.
Day 3 - Seedling broke through the soil and opened first set of true leaves.
Day 5 - Watered with around 30ml of water.
Day 6 - This lady pushing a node every day. Transplanting in her forever home next week.
Day 8 - Watered her with about 100ml of water with minimal run off. She was thirsty. Growing normally.
Day 12 - Transplanted this lady into her forever home. Sprinkled mychorrizae spores around the root zone to help with transplant shock. Using 7 gallon fabric pot filled with a home-made living soil using BioBizz AllMix as a base. Watered with 3 litres of plain water to hydrate the soil.
Day 15 - Removed first set of side shoots as from the little experience I have growing FastBuds autoflower genetics, the first pair of side shoots always remain on the smaller side. No complaints there! Their genetics have been in my first grow and in every other grow after that. Still got some other beans from them for the future as well! 🙂
She has settled in her new home. Growth has increased. Seeded planter with chia seeds to try grow a cover crop. Till now nothing sprouted.
Day 17 - First training session done on this lady. Bent main stem downwards to expose side shoots to more light. Removed 2 leaves because one was on the soil and the other was covering side growth. Chia seeds have started to sprout! Misted soil to encourage more chia seeds to hopefully sprout.
Day 19 - Side shoots are all pointing upwards to the light. Only one is on the "wrong side" and will have to train it outwards when it's more developed. Main growth tip already pointing upwards as well. Thinking of topping her but not 100% convinced yet. Will let her develop a bit further before I take a decision. Chia cover crop coming in nicely.
Day 20 - Gave first feeding to this lady. 1 litre of water with 0.5ml of BioBizz FishMix. Removed any leaves that were covering growth tips to try and maximise light penetration.
Day 21 - She got her second feeding today. Gave her 1 litre of water with nutrients listed above.
Day 22 - Started LST on the lower branches to expose them to more light and create an even canopy. Removed some leaves that were covering growth tips. Other than that, she looks beautiful!
Day 24 - Gave her 1 litre of plain water and trimmed down some of the cover crop growing too close to her. First signs of flower on this lady!
Day 25 - Lady started stretching. Looking forward to see her bloom!
Day 30 -
Lady started to stretch and fill out slowly. Gave her 2 litres of water with nutrients listed above. Will have to train her again this week to try create an even canopy with her as she is still growing like a Christmas tree, even though I already trained her. She's a stubborn one 😜
Day 31 -
Training session done, opened her up as much as I could and removed any leaves that were blocking any new growth. Also removed some lower side shoots that would not have amounted to anything substantial.
Day 36 -
Kitty has entered proper stretching phase. Pistils are popping from all nodes.
Day 40 -
Removed all lower growth that would not have amounted to anything and any leaves covering bud sites. She is still stretching. Watered her with 1 litre of plain water.
Day 41 -
Bud sites filling up with white Pistils. Plant still stretching but slowed down. Slight light burn on the upper leaves as she stretched faster than I could put distance between her and the lights. She should be ok now. Very open growth when it comes to branches. They should fill up nicely. 🙂
Day 44 -
Watered her with 2 litres of water with nutrients listed above. Stretching has slowed down, if not stopped. First signs of trichomes around bud sites. Tent starting to smell.
Day 46 -
Slight defoliation today
Day 47 -
Kitty stopped stretching. Bud sites pushing white pistils and leaves getting peppered with small trichomes around said bud sites.
Day 50 -
Bud sites growing bigger with new Pistils everyday. No calyx swelling for now. Trichomes increasing around bud sites, even on fan leaves.
Watered her with 2 litres of water including nutrients listed above. Loving the way she's looking, and she seems to love what I'm giving her!
Day 59 -
This lady is doing beautifully. Calyxes swelling and trichomes increasing and growing. She smells very sweet when touched. Taking nutes like the champ she is. Will start scoping trichomes next week.
Day 68 -
Watered lady with 2 litres of water including nutrients listed above. Buds keep swelling and rock hard dense. She smells super sweet!
Day 70 -
Plant keeps packing on weight. Slight shades of purple appeared over this past week. Will feed her one last time then start flushing. Trichomes mostly cloudy with some clear ones around the satellite buds and some ember ones on the top main cola.
Planning to harvest around next week. Finally harvesting quality buds again after last harvest's fiasco... 🤣
Day 78 -
Fairly easy harvest, 6 colas and some larf at the bottom. Berry happy with the outcome. Main cola is biggest cola I have grown in my 1 year growing experience.
