Just getting them wet now.
Won these almost exactly a year ago in the GOTM Aug 2021. Would love to have at least 4 of these reach the end. Anything less then that and I’ll have to pick another auto strain from my collection to help fill my 4x4. I learned on my last big run that I can only handle about 6 plants at a time in there. Silly me tried 10 plants. And anything less then 4 just seems incredibly wasteful 🌱 👊🏻 🍓 🥧
4 of 5 seeds pooped and now let’s see. Attempting to add one more plant to the tin just to not waste space and electricity. The pot in the middle is empty- waiting for germination to be complete
Slow but steady. Two plants are looking great, and the other two seem a bit stunted. We’ll see in the next week or so. I’ve learned never to count a girl out, unless you’re wasting space.
Domes have been helping, but I’m starting to see algae accumulate on the perlite. I’ve been wiping them down to try to minimize it
Sadly I lost one of the girls this week. She refused to grow, and even with watering consistent to all the others, she just dried up. So 3 strawberry pies( one of which is deformed) and a devil cream that’s a week behind in the tent. I moved things around this week- switching plants in each tent to better use the lights I gave and hopefully saving a bit of money on electricity as well.
2/3 girls are chugging along at normal speed. If not faster due to the 20/4 schedule. The 3rd is just we weirdo and I’m just going to let her do her thing because I know there will be plenty of space and I’m just interested to she what she’s gonna do.
Entering week 5 of flower.
Feeding every 4 Days with nutrition and every two days with water ph’ed to 6.4
Bending plants bit this week. Accidentally snapped the main shoot on one. Sad 😞
The freak is slow. But adding bud sites.
What a difference a week makes. They are really taking off now. Gave them a bit of nutrients- and used a few bends to try to get a few more bud sites into the light before their stretch.
Final girl has finally decided to bring it. She’s finally gaining height- and starting to toss pistols. They are all getting big and will move into the large tent when it becomes available in a week or two. Lowered nutrients a bit after noticing some rust spots on one of the plants older fan leaves.
Chugging along nicely. Moved all 4 autos into the big tent to finish. They are taking up so much space- I think they will be happier here. Going to have to keep an eye on them though because the lights are much stronger- (480w vs. 200w)
All 3 strawberry pies are different. Both in structure and in bud formation. It will be interesting to see how differently they bc will finish. Had to up nutrients a bit as one plant is showing some fade too early.
Buds starting to show some form. They smell insane- kinda berry, kinda orange.
This past week was rough on a personal level, the plants kinda got away from me. Ive cleaned them up a bit and got the feedings back on schedule- so hopefully I recovered quick enough it won’t hurt me too bad at harvest time.
🌱 👊🏻
These beauties are beginning to stink 😝
Plants are still yellowing, but one plant is far worse than the other two. Feeding 1/2 a gallon every other day. Probably need to up runoff amount though.
One plant got to have her very own holiday photo shoot. Wish I had had some Christmas lights to spare 🤷♀️
I can tell they are not all planning on finishing in the same timeline. 2 plants are within range im going to start looking at trichomes. The other plant obviously has bigger plans and looks like her buds are going to be A+
The snip is coming! Next update will be harvest report!
The plants all look and formed a bit different from each other. But they all smell amazing and I can tell they are going to some wicked sticky buds when I harvest. 🌱 👊🏻
