Happy Weekend Growmies, My little Rhinos started off well this week, shes got her first set of true leaves and is about to start her second. Shes only on a 15hr schedule as shes not tented and just living by my bed and i need to sleep 😊 The light seems ok but it has to be really close for growth, as you can see from the last pic i am actually trailing this on another plant also which seems to be really happy 😊 Thats all from me this week, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️

Happy Weekend Growmies, My little Rhino Cups doing well this week, shes just pumped out her 2nd set of leaves and has started her 3rd. Although the growth rate isnt spectacular she seens happy enough under her little light. Imay top her and keep her short but i havent decided yet. I gave her a dose of great white at the beginning of the week to help things along and give her a good start 😊 Thats all from me this week, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️

Happy Weekend Growmies, So i decided to top her at the beginning of the week as ive decided that i want to restrict her height and have a small bushy plant. Happy Werkend Growmies, Well im super impressed with this little light bought from amazon, its a 40w led and tbh i was a little sceptical at its stats that said full spetrum at £20! But as you can see shes not only recovered from topping but is absolutely thriving 😊 I was originally thinking of maybe using LST with the topping, but because shes quite tall i think it be awkward. Instead im using one of the light bars on the the lower branches and may defoiliate slightly on the upper ones if needed. Happy Weekend Growmies, Ive had to put her on the ground this week as shes gotten to tall for my little side table, the growth rate is still decent and shes still loving life under her little lamp and pumping out a couple of new leaf sets per week 😊 The PH was at the bottom end of the scale at 6 last week, so ive given her a little feed with cal mag pro which has nitrogen also and she was watered at PH7, the feed was given at half strength. Her pot takes a while to dry out, so il test again at next watering. After saying that i wasnt going to do lst, i did try to bend the top two branches, but they were going to come away, so instead ive made a little spacer out of twisty tie to gently push them apart. Happy Weekend Growmies, Well shes gone into flowering this week, the PH has come up to 7 which is good and shes had a feed yesterday. Im not sure how much feeding this strain likes so ive given her a 1/4 strength flowering and veg nutes. We'll see how we go but i allways struggle to get feeding right when growing, its one of my work ons 😊 She seems to be happy enough currently and il keep monitoring PH which ive been lazy on in the past. Ive taken out the middle leaves at the top so that the light can penetrate more easily and as you can see ive still got a bar of the lamp on the lower branches. Happy weekend Friends, Soooo this week weve hit a bit of trouble with her and shes started getting some leaf yellowing, the PH is still fine and i suspect a couple of things. Although the drainage is good on the cup she still takes nearly a week to dry out so i think the roots are two wet for too long, im going to try giving less water to see if this helps. Also although initially she seemed to get a real boost from the feed i gave her, theres yellowing of allot of the leaf tips and i think she may be a bit burnt, i dont think the lights powerful enough for it to be light stress. As a result ive flushed her today and will give any other nutes at a smaller dose. Apart from that the flowers are starting to get more substance and shes definitely started to smell more. Hopefully she'll be ok and we'll have a better week next week. Thats all from me, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️

Good Weekend to you Growmies, Ok where to start, shes had more yellowing to the lower leaves over the past week, after doing a bit more reading i think that shes actually got a magnesium deficiency with the yellowing moving from tip to back of the leaves. The PH is still ok so ive given her a dose of Calmag and a very light dose of flowering nutes at 1/7 strength. I still think theres a problem with water retention in this tiny pot so trying to give a bit less water, ive also moved the lights a bit further out as i think that they are stronger than i initially gave them credit for. Overall making little adjustments, i wish i was one of the pro growers who could just look at a plant and fix straight away, but ive still got allot to learn 😊 Apart from that the buds have been bulking out and shes started getting a bit of frost 😊 Thats all from me this week, thanks for stopping by ✌️

Happy Weekend Growmies, So initially this week i thought that the yellowing had slowed down, but then realised it was continuing 😑, not sure if its because i pushed my luck and gave her another feed as the PH is still ok but nevermind. Buds have started filling out a bit more, not allot but a bit and shes still on the 15hrs of light a day. The really noticible thing this week is the smell, shes started absolutely honkin and smelling of sweaty socks 😁 Shes also started pumpin out plenty of trichs on the sugar leaves 🤤 Thats all from me this week, thanks for stopping by 😊✌️

Happy Weekend Growmies, Well its been a tricky week for my gal, the yellowing has continued, PH is still fine but i think i caught the magnesium defincincy to late and combined with the long water retention in the pot shes not happy. On a more positive note buds are still growing, ive removed a couple of lowest sites and given a shot of PK to help bulk flowers out yesterday as shes now quickly maturing and all of the pistils have started curling in and started turning with past coue of days. Happy Weekend Friends, My Gal has filled out a bit this week, not a lot but definitely a little from last week. The buds are further maturing faster and pistils turning brown, i reckon shes got about a week two at most and ive started to flush her from today. You can see from the close ups thats shes got plenty of frost and im looking forward to trying her. Also the sock type fragrence has changed slightly and has a kinda orangy undertone which is quite plesant 😊 Although the yellowing to the leaves was premature i think that the golden colour is quite beautiful, the erb never fails to give me a sense of wonder when being grown 😍 Thats all from me this week, hope you are all well and safe 🙏

Good Friday Growmies, Well my friends ive given her the chop today as the leaf yellowing was starting to work its way down the sugar leaves andcshes done all she can do. She had put on a little more bulk during the week but no much and she stopped taking up water so definitely time to take her down. Shes got a nice pong to her and my little harvest is nicely glistening with trichomes. Ive really enjoyed this challenge and it is definitely that, keeping a plant going in a little cup is difficult but it has been fun and i will definitley give this a go again at some point. Il update again with final weight and smoke report once shes dry and cured a little. I hope youve enjoyed this diary and good luck to all other entries as theres some absolute crackers taking part.
