1 tap root came out during the 24 hour water dunk. Put both in paper towel and set the seed mat temp to 28. I hope the other one comes out by tomorrow morning.
My other plant never started. I had to take it out of the tent.
Also been fighting the fungus gnats. Trying with sticky yellow paper and water with mosquito bits.
Growing nicely. Did some low stress training. Added an avocado seed to my extra pot to see if i can start it, I will have to take it out soon as the girl gets bigger. I am still battling fungus gnats.
Week 6 you said “kicked into flower hard”?
I would have assumed from that you already switched to 12/12..
But if you haven’t, I personally would within the next week. The stretch will come in full force once you change the light cycle.. not so much before.
You look pretty well filled out for the tent, you could push it more if you’re familiar with this variety and experienced with scrogging.. but to give yourself some wiggle room to work with if it really stretches, I’d flip sooner than later.
Turned the light up to 80%. Did some minor defoliation. Added some power bloom. Adjusted the lung room heater to be on the proper thermostat. Tucking larger fan leaves under bud sites if I can.
I am liking her growth this week. The buds are starting to form nicely. Looking forward to much more fatness. I broke out the microscope and had a look at frost development. Nice. Still fighting the fungus gnats. It is really neat to see the buds fatten up over just a couple of days.
Looked at trichomes and some are cloudy. The majority are still clear though. Decided to flush as the girl is very green and healthy. I flushed about 10 gallons through the plant using an aquarium pump to pull the water out of the tray below.
Flowering nicely. Starting to see the purple coloring on the sugar leaves. I am watering a bunch tomorrow and then leaving alone for 3. Then do 2 days of darkness and harvest after that. Exciting!
Edit: the trichomes are not cloudy enough yet. I won't be doing two days of darkness until more of them turn cloudy.
