What is up everybody! Back at it again with some Auto-flowers from 420 FastBuds! The seedlings are doing marvelous. All have sprouted in about 4 days and are growing so quickly. I’ve thrown in the microbe trio into the reservoirs along with some bud candy to get that process rolling. just waiting patiently.
Week 1 of Veg is here! From past failures I’ve learned it’s best for me to wait for the ladies to develop a few sets of leaves and have a decent root system before feeding nutrients. If you’re following along you may have noticed the title of the journal changed! I’ve went ahead and created a separate journal for the Wedding Glue Autoflower because it’s growth is slower compared to the Purple Lemonades. 2 journal 1 Grow! What could go wrong! Lol
Hey hey! The ladies are growing great, pre flowers are starting to pop up, I’ve done some LST training to get light to the side branches and help keep the plant short.
Wow! The girls are hitting their stride! New growth is just exploding for all the autos in this grow! It’s been a week of tinkering, slowly dropping the humidity and temperature as I start to see the plants transition more and more towards flowering. I accidentally topped one of the girls when I was trying to LST her! Whoops! But she didn’t miss a beat, I don’t know if I’ll veg again next week or flip them to flowering. Just going to have to wait and see what they’re showing me. See you all soon!
Hey everyone! LOADS to report on this week! First things first the girls were hungry! Started showing potassium, calcium, and magnesium deficiencies mid way through the week! Which had me concerned! so I decided to switch to flowering nutrients a couple days ago by mixing new reservoirs, found my new favorite way of changing the DWC buckets, which is just changing 1-2 a day over the weekend. Makes mixing the nutes a little more enjoyable and lax! But I digress, the girls are getting what they need now! By far the best news is I’ve managed to get a purple phenotype for the purple lemonade!!! And it is trippy to see it throw purple flowers. Super excited to watch these flowers develop. I’ll be trying to avoid any more problems going forward. I’ve LST’d one last time, and plucked off a few leaves here and there! Stay tuned!
Another week down! This week I got very lucky! My cat thought it would be a good idea to try and jump on top of my light while I was in the grow checking on the girls. She fell and luckily only snapped off a lower branch, she is okay and the ladies were unaffected! I’ve been having the worst luck this grow with the breaking of stems! It just is what it is. More and more purple is filling the flowering sites, the purple calyxes look mesmerizing! I raised the light up some and I’ll be adjusting it a bit going forward! See you all next week!
Hey everyone sorry I’m late to post this weeks flower update! Today is Day 59 and I am patiently waiting. Not much to report on, other than a slight hunger for cal mag in these ladies!
