End of week 5! things have been changing fast as you can see and hence plans have also changed.
I am scared of my space so I have made the decision to start flowering starting tonight. I have already given the plants a dose of bio-bloom to prepare them with a little bio-grow as my leaves were feeling papery a day after watering so I suspect they just need a bit of juice.
according to Dinafem, the Original Amnesia need a clear sign to flower and that's why I gave flowering nutes soon. Also I am going to give them a nice 16 hour dark period tonight just to give a jump start and hopefully we see some crazy stretch that this strain is known for.
As you can see I have been doing quite a lot of LST and I did HST on a few places.
Going to let the strech pass and then start doing some light and progressive defoliation to all three plants. Besides that I will only be doing LST and if things get out of control some HST(hopefully not necessary).
Very excited for the plants to explode these next two weeks!

leave edges curling down (newer growth), plant feels weak/limp, leaves feel papery. Only one of the two plants. maybe she is root bound? i believe my watering is okay. maybe a PH problem or nutrient deficiency? temps sit at abt 28. not enough circulation or high humidity? IDK....

Please take a look at my Original Amnesia 1, the one on the left, its buds are hardly developing with very little trichomes. is this genetic or does something seem to be wrong? the OA to the right is the same age and is developing a lot faster and denser and is full of tricomes.

Hello ! Well it is perfectly normal and no genetic issue here , let me explain : I can see that your are using 2 different CFL spectrum , the red one is on the right and the red spectrum encourage stem growth, flowering and fruit production, and chlorophyll production so it's the best suitable for flowering. On the other hand the left plant is under a blue spectrum wich encourage vegetative growth through strong root growth but will not induce flowering. You can clearly see that the left amnesia is trying to reach the light of your middle led panel because she need that spectrum to fully accomplish the flowering process.Maybe you should try to move the led panel on the left , the red spectrum CFL on the right and the blue one in the middle to have an extra blue in your spectrum and try to keep the lants short. I hope it will help you ππ

@PaulT, Yellowing/Pale leaves are typically related to PH issues and/or nitrogen/sulfur deficiencies (or a combination). Different strains have different tolerances so you may not see the same symptoms with all plants. My recommendation would be to make sure you are in a good zone PH wise first. PH will affect the plants ability to take in nutrients. Then to try increasing your nitrogen based nutrients slightly. Good luck!

Now that the flower stage has started the real fun can begin π
Out of the 2 strains you have going you will see much more stretch from our Original amnesia. Purple Afghan Kush is a typical indica strain and has very little stretch.
This should be a fun flower show to watch.
Bring it on, Lets see what they can do π

@PaulT, Being super sativa dominant you will get a lot of stretch from amnesia and the total opposite from our Purple afghan kush. As you are finding out.
Pak or Purple afghan kush has very little stretch in bloom due to her being close to a full indica strain.
This flower show is about to get very interesting π
