meneerGreen Hvyweight 2 (60 x 60 x 140 tent) Let's start with the specifications of this strain, Strain: HS Hvyweight Genotype: 50% Indica/ 50% Sativa Flowering time: 8 weeks Sex: Feminized Yield: 550 - 700 grams/m2 Height indoor: 70 - 150 cm Height outdoor: 100 - 170 cm THC: 25% Flavor: Coffee, Mocha, Diesel, and Citrus. Effect: Relaxed, Happy, Euphoric. Seed company: Hy-Seeds The report, 12-13, today I took a new HW (1 seed) out of the fridge to acclimatize, I always do this so it can come to room temperature before I start germinating. 12-14, today I laid the lady-to-be for germination using the coffee filter method, and then put her in the cabinet to keep it nice and dark. 12-16, today I made the plug wet, EC 0.6, pH 5.4, added 0.5 ml Root Stimulator and 0.1 gram Powder Feeding to 800 ml of water, the tap water already has an EC of 0.4 so I raised it a bit since there are no nutrients in the rock wool plug. Also today I put the seed in the plug (it had a nice little root). 12-17, today I just added a bit of water to the container where the plug is, with the additions from 12-16. 12-18, today it crawled out of the plug, so I put it under the 18/6 light schedule, the lamp is a 24 watt T5 6400K (fluorescent), in the box I was using before there are two 24 watt lamps so I removed one since it’s just one lady, and she is so close to the lamp (+/- 2 cm) that it’s pointless to have two burning. 12-19, temp. 26.5, RH 54%, added a bit of water (0.5 cm) to the container which was empty, so it’s definitely enough since the plug was still nice and wet. The rest of the week I repeated the steps regarding watering, the temperature averaged 25.5 degrees and was nicely stable just like the RH which averaged around 51% (54 to 49%).

meneerGreen Week 1 (24-12 to 30-12) Watering: 3 liters. (transferred to hydro growth container.) Temperature: 24.1 at 20 (lights on, lights off) RH 64 to 48% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.1 pH: 5.5 25-12, Today transferred to the net pot and then placed in the hydro growth container (5 liters), it's currently in 3 liters of water and the net pot is just half a cm under water, until the roots are hanging in the water, until then I’ll give a little water from above and then I will lower the water level to 1 cm below the net pot. 30-12, today it had 4 nice long roots so in the next few days I will lower the water level to about 1 cm below the net pot.

meneerGreen Week 2 (31-12 to 6-1-2022) Watering: 850 ml Temperature: 25.5 when lights on, 20 when lights off; RH 64 to 61% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.3 to 1.5 pH: 5.5 to 5.6 31-12, Lowered the water level to just below the net pot; once it has more roots, I’ll lower the water level to about 1 cm below the net pot. (In the 19-liter bucket, that will be 2 cm.). I also held the lux meter underneath to see how much lux it shows at 2 cm below the fluorescent light; it was about 3500 lux. I also measured the water temperature, which was 22 degrees; I would have preferred it a bit cooler, but if it stays like this, I think it’s fine. 5-1, Made new water and checked the values in the growing container; the pH had risen a bit, so I adjusted it back to 5.5 to 5.6. I raised the EC slightly from 1.3 to 1.5; the tap water here is 0.4, so that leaves a nutrient value of 1.1, which this lady should be able to handle at this stage. I’m probably going to top this lady next week; she’s growing quite fast, and the 19-liter bucket she’s going into isn’t empty yet. I hope it’s empty by next week so she can get in quickly. An additional problem now is that I still haven’t received my new light; I should have had it by now, but I got a message that it will be a week or two later, and I’m bummed about that because now she’ll probably have to be under 100% for the first week when she should actually be under 50%. I hope that goes well; it’s just a week (hopefully), but that might be just a bit too much.

meneerGreen Week 3 (1/7 to 1/13) Watering: 1.6 liters Temperature: 24 to 20 (lights on, lights off) RH 72 to 61% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.5 pH: 5.5 to 5.6 1/8, today I topped the lady and removed the bottom 2 leaves. 1/13, removed another 2 leaves, she's growing like crazy. Other than that, everything is going well, I'm planning to move her to the tent (60 x 60 x 140) this weekend (or right after), because otherwise I'm afraid I might have to start over and I don't want that because she looks really nice.

meneerGreen Week 4 (14-1 to 20-1) Watering: 3.9 liters. Temperature: 25 to 20 (lights on, lights off) RH 58 to 47% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.4 to 15 pH: 5.8 to 5.9 15-1, today I moved the lady to the 60 x 60 tent, it was a bit of hard work because on the same day I first harvested the HW that was in there, so I cleaned and disinfected the entire tent and then set it up again. I prepared 11 liters of water first, normally I do that a day in advance so I can adjust the pH the next day, but there was no time for that this time, so I did it throughout the week. The above-mentioned watering of 3.9 liters is after the initial bucket of 11 liters. So 11 liters of water added, Silica power 1 ml, hydrogen peroxide 10 ml, Powderfeeding hybrid 8.8 grams, pH- 3 ml which makes EC 1.5, pH 5.5, the water temperature was 20 degrees. At first, the pH did rise, but I expected that, so I adjusted it down to 5.8 to 5.9 throughout the week, and I will lower it a bit more to around 5.6 in the coming week. I also removed some leaves and topped up the net pot with clay pebbles to the edge. I also placed a few containers of water to keep the RH around 60%. In the meantime, I also received the new lamp, and it turned out that the current lamp was actually working; I had accidentally set a button wrong while taking photos, so the dimmer wasn’t working anymore. I realized this when I was getting the new lamp ready, so that was pretty silly. A silver lining is that I now have a backup lamp (or I can set up an extra lady, lol).

meneerGreen Week 5 (21-1 to 27-1) Watering: 7 liters. Temperature: 23.6 during the day (lights on, lights off) RH 65 to 58% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.6 pH: 5.7 Everything is under control this week, managing to keep the pH and EC nice and stable. This week I regularly removed some leaves and secured some shoots; I'm going to keep a closer eye on the leaves and remove 1 or 2 leaves daily if needed, so she won't be hindered by it afterwards, that's my thought. 23-1, today I increased the lamp's power and set it to 80%, it's hanging 42 cm from the plant and the lux meter shows 24000 lux. I checked how much that was during the previous grow, but I didn't write it down then. In terms of moisture, temperature, and nutrients, I'm pretty much on par with the previous HW grow. 26-1, today I switched to 12/12, which aligns with the previous grow where I also switched in the 5th week, so we're right on schedule. The additions I make per liter of water are: Powderfeeding 1.02 grams, Silica power 3 drops, pH- 5 drops, with a water temperature of 20 to 21 degrees (equal to the temperature in the bucket). Then I have an EC of 1.8 and a pH of 5.7 to 5.8, which keeps the pH in the bucket nice and stable. I give the EC a bit higher, which keeps the EC in the bucket nice and stable at 1.6, and I try to adjust it daily if necessary to minimize any deviation in the values.

meneerGreen Week 6 (28-1 to 3-2) first week of 12/12. Watering: 7 liters. Temperature: 23.6 at 20 (lights on, lights off) RH 69 to 60% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.7 pH: 5.5 to 5.8 I had a bit more fluctuation in the pH this week, but since I'm adding 1 liter of water every day right now and adding less pH- when the pH is lower and a bit more when it's higher, I can keep it around 5.7 to 5.8 pretty well. Also, I removed some leaves and secured some shoots throughout the week, and I can't complain at the moment even though I would have preferred a slightly higher temperature. The temperature of the nutrient water in the bucket is nice and stable and is at a good 20 to 22 degrees; if it stays like this, I'm satisfied, although it will probably rise by a degree when the light is at 100%, but I can live with that.

meneerGreen Week 7 (4-2 to 10-2) 2nd week 12/12. Watering: 7 liters. Temperature: 23.6 at 20 (lights on, lights off) RH 68 to 63% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.7 pH: 5.4 I just can't get the pH up, even though I'm adding 1 liter of water every day with a pH of 7 to 8.5, the pH stays low. I'm debating whether to replace all the water or wait until I need to add bloom nutrients in about 3 to 4 weeks. I'll think about it. The EC remains nice and stable at 1.7. The liter of water I add every day is mixed to an EC of 1.3 to 1.5 (gradually decreasing). The last day, the EC was at 1.6, so I'll see what it is tomorrow. If it drops a bit, I'll raise the EC slightly again; at least she seems to have enough at 1.7 right now. This whole week I removed some leaves and secured some shoots. The first bloom hairs have been spotted, so just one more week and then I can probably start counting the bloom weeks. I checked against the previous grow, and this one is running exactly the same as the last round of the HW. The pH was also 5.4 then, and the EC was at 1.7, so it’s going to be a pretty good copy of the last grow. In the previous grow, I replaced the bucket the week after and added some bloom nutrients right away. I don’t want to do that now, but if I replace the bucket, I’ll have to do it without bloom nutrients for a bit, so I might just have to replace it a little extra, but that’s how it goes.

EC: 1.6 pH: 4.5 to 6.2 12-2, Today I replaced the bucket, hence the high watering this week. Set the EC of the new bucket to 1.6, the pH to 6.1, kept it a bit higher since it will drop again in the coming days. 14-2, I turned the light up to 90% to generate a bit more heat, will keep an eye on how the lady handles it, otherwise back to 80%. Throughout the rest of the week, I pruned some leaves regularly, and in the second half of this week, I had to acidify my nutrient water again as the pH dropped quite a bit.

meneerGreen Week 9 (18-2 to 24-2) 1st week of flowering. Watering: 12.5 liters. Temperature: 24.6 at 20 (lights on, lights off) RH 62 to 57% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.6 to 1.7 pH: 5.4 to 5.9 Due to illness, I had to hand over a lot this week, but I was present to ensure everything was going well, the maintenance did fall behind a bit, but I'll catch up as soon as I can. 22-2, I turned the light back to 80%, the lady didn't seem very happy with more light, so I'll keep it like this for now, I plan to increase the light around week 4 to 5 of flowering. 23-2, I ended up removing some leaves, it was getting too full for my liking and I don't want it to get out of hand, that happened to me once and I'm avoiding that, so I pruned as best as I could. My son took care of the rest for me this week and I was really happy about that, I just wasn't able to do it myself, pruning the leaves was already quite a task in itself.

meneerGreen Week 10 (25-2 to 3-3) 2nd week of flowering. Watering: 10 liters. Temperature: 25 to 20 (lights on, lights off) RH 61 to 55% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.7 pH: 5.9 to 6.0 I managed to keep the EC nicely at 1.7 this week, by constantly adding an EC of 1.3 to 1.4, it stayed nicely at 1.7, occasionally dropping to 1.6 but overall very stable. I also had the pH nicely under control this week, staying at 5.9 to 6.0 the entire week, by consistently providing a pH of 6.4 to 6.6, I was able to keep it stable at the above value. Next week we're entering week 3 of flowering, so I will completely replace the bucket with the addition of PK booster (following the Greenhouse schedule) and I will also add Calmag once, not much, it should be 1 ml per liter according to B.A.C., but I’ll do half a ml per liter and, as I said, just once. There’s already Calmag in the base nutrients, so I don’t want to overfeed, I’m doing this purely because they ask for it the most in week 3 to 4 of flowering and I want to give them an extra boost, which is why they’re only getting it once. The PK booster will be gradually increased towards the end, and I’ll stop it in week 6 to 7 of flowering, I need to check exactly when, I thought about 2 weeks before the harvest. If the height of the tent allows, I’ll also turn the light up to full for the last +/- 3 weeks, but that depends on the space I have left, I need at least 40 cm to set it to full, otherwise, it will stay at 80% or maybe 90%, but that’s for later.

meneerGreen Week 11 (March 4 - March 10) 3rd week of flowering. Watering: 16 liters, New bucket (9 liters) + 7 liters. Temperature: 25 to 20 (lights on, lights off) RH 57 to 54% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.8 pH: 5.2 to 6.2 This week started with PK addition (bloom nutrients) so made a new bucket with EC 1.8. The EC was at 2.0 for a few days but after some adjustments, it's now at 1.8 and very nicely stable. The pH fluctuates a bit between 5.2 and 6.2 but mostly stays between 5.5 and 6.2, which I'm fine with, as it allows her to take up all the nutrients offered. March 7, I set the light to 85%, let's see how she reacts, now on March 10, it looks like she's not bothered by it, I'll keep an eye on it for a week and then I'll set the light to 90% if all goes well. Then I should be nicely on schedule with the light and could set it to 100% in the last week or so, but I'll see about that.

meneerGreen Week 12 (11-3 to 17-3) 4th week of flowering. Watering: 8.5 liters. Temperature: 25.1 at 20 (lights on, lights off) RH 62 to 53% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.8 pH: 6.0 to 6.2 The EC this week was eerily stable at 1.8, so all week she hasn't had any nutrients, just PK, which brought the EC of the water I added to 0.9 to 1.0. Despite that, the EC remained nicely at 1.8. Now I don't know if it's harmful that she isn't getting any nutrients and only PK; does anyone know?? The pH is also reasonably stable. I tried to bring it down a bit to 5.8 to 5.9, but that's going slowly. It's currently at 6.0, so just a few more days and I should have it at the desired pH, at least that's what I'm assuming. 14-3, I set the lamp to 90% to see what that does and how she reacts. 17-3, the leaves of the largest buds are curling a bit inward. Now I don't know if it's due to the lamp (its strength at 90%) or if it's something else; we'll keep an eye on it. Other than that, not much to do. Maybe I'll remove some leaves again so that more light can get through the crop because it's quite dense, but I'll look into that next week.

EC: 1.8 to 1.9 pH: 5.4 to 5.9 The EC is nicely stable, but I should mention that aside from one day (only PK), it didn't receive any nutrients this week, and still, the EC remained nicely at 1.8 to 1.9. The pH dropped a bit from 5.9 to 5.4, so I had to add pH+ from 5 to 15 drops in the last 3 days; before that, I had to lower it because the pH was rising. Furthermore, I set the lamp to 100% on the 18th to see how that goes. The previous round was also at 100%, although that was due to a mistake on my part, but still, you would think it should be fine now too. We'll keep an eye on it. I thought I could raise the lamp a bit more, but I'm not sure; I'll check that out. On the 20th, I pruned some leaves to let more light in. I couldn't remove much more, but every little bit helps, right?

meneerGreen Week 14 (March 25 to March 31) 6th week of flowering. Watering: 7.5 liters and replaced the entire bucket once. Temperature: 25.2 at 20 (lights on, lights off) RH 59 to 53% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.3 to 1.9 pH: 5.4 to 6.1 The EC and pH are a bit off, but that's because I replaced the bucket on March 26; I still hadn't needed to add nutrients, and that didn't seem quite right to me. Before the new bucket, I was at a pH of 5.4 and had to acidify my water each time, but it stayed low. After replacing the bucket, I started with an EC of 6.0, but now at the end of the week, it's already down to 5.5, and I have to start acidifying again. But now I do need to add nutrients each time; the EC was 1.9 at the beginning of the week (before the new bucket) but is now 1.3 when I measure before adding water. I started with an EC of 1.5. I'm now giving a bit more nutrients (PF + PK), so she's asking for nutrients now, which is nice. Let's see when the EC starts to rise; she still has about 2 weeks to go, so if it doesn't rise despite more nutrients, it's not a disaster.

meneerGreen Week 15 (1-4 to 7-4) 7th week of flowering. Watering: 8 liters. Temperature: 24.3 at 20 (lights on, lights off) RH 60 to 54% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.3 to 1.6 pH: 5.6 to 6.0 I let the EC rise a bit this week to 1.6, she's doing well under it and I can still add nutrients to the water, so I think that's good; the EC is now nicely stable at 1.6. I do have to adjust the pH every time, but I can keep it nicely between 5.6 and 6.0, and I'm fine with that. The trichomes are starting to look pretty milky, so in 1 to 2 weeks, it should be done with this lady. I had a new HW germinating, but that didn't go well; I think I damaged the little root when planting it in the plug because after a week it still hadn't emerged from the plug. So, I've decided to start over, which is a bit of a bummer because I'm now a week behind schedule. I also took a KPS out of the fridge instead of a HW and germinated it; at least, I still need to see that because it's only been 1 day in the coffee filter, so I have to wait a bit.

meneerGreen Week 16 (April 8th to April 14th) 8th week of flowering. Watering: 7 liters. Temperature: 25.9 at 20 (lights on, lights off) RH 61 to 52% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.6 pH: 5.6 to 5.7 This lady is nearing her end, autumn has really set in and it won't be long now, her successor is already starting to grow and she will go into the bucket in about 2 weeks, but I'm going to harvest this lady next week, most likely on Wednesday or Thursday. Then I have a week to get everything back in order for her successor, the Kera Pineapple Sativa.

meneerGreen Week 17 (15-4 to 21-4) 9th week of flowering. Watering: 5 liters. Temperature: 27 during lights on, 20 during lights off, RH 53 to 46% (highest, lowest). EC: 1.6 pH: 5.7 On 20-4, I harvested the lady. This week she had less water; I actually didn’t want to give her any more water, but the pH dropped below 5.0 at one point, so I added some water to bring the pH back up to around 5.6. So, I harvested, and to be honest, I was quite disappointed. Not with the total weight, but I had quite a bit of fluffy stuff, and that’s despite regularly trimming a lot of leaves to prevent this. In hindsight, I probably should have removed more small buds, so that’s another point to focus on for the next round. The wet weight of this lady: buds 464 grams, trim waste and fluff 284 grams, total 784 grams. The upper part of the buds was quite firm, but lower down it was less so and a bit more airy. I’m curious to see what will be left after drying, but I think it’s going to be disappointing. I’ve been wrong about that before, though, so I’ll wait and see.
