~Week 11/ 71-77 days from sprout ~Overall: ~VPD: Keeping it high 1.6 or above. Not ideal but I need to keep humidity low for another tent in this room. ~DLI: Looking good. Not sure the number but the plants are happy so far. ~Feeding: Fed day 76. ~Watering: Every 3-4-5 days depending on what they need. About 3 gallons per plant per watering. Day 71 notes: Looks good in here. Probably will not be adding another net layer after all. The tent is filled out pretty nicely but with another plant I could have had the tent packed. I am also having a bit of a difficult time reaching through the front two plants to the back two, but the back door is against the wall so nothing I can do there. The flowers are really starting to develop nicely, and none of the plants really stretched as much as I was expecting. Day 72 notes: Looks good. Plants are overall healthy and there are a lot of bud sites. A few things to mention. VPD has been terrible the past two days. Max vpd you should have is 1.2-1.6. The VPD this tent has been is 3.2-3.5. Way too high. Lights increased in intensity. The clones really are not doing well. They have been looking rough since I let the temp and humidity get way off two days of cloning. The temp was roughly 78F and the humidity was roughly 95%+ This caused a lot of rot, as well as lockout, as well as several leaves to die and the clones to lose vigor. Next time I will NOT put a humidifier in the same tent as the clones. The clone tent is too small for a dehumidifier, and it basically rains in there if there is a humidifier. Day 73 notes: Not checked today. Watched humidity get up a little bit though from my AC Infinity app. Day 74 notes: Plants looking good today. Humidity is pretty high. Water on some of the top leaves due to transpiration. Buds are starting to form nicely. Because of what happened to my other tent, I am a bit worried that these plants will run out of nutrients close to the end of flower before being ready, but I will prepare for that in any way that I can. Did not take pictures yesterday. Clones are also looking a bit better. I will keep them until they mold out, or harvest time for this tent gets close. Day 75 notes: Looking good today. Temps have been hot. Got up to 88 at top of canopy but plants seem to be loving the current VPD. Will be taking care of these plants tomorrow. Need to remove any dead leaves from this tent as well as my other flowering tent. Some of the clones are completely dead by now, while others have actually started showing new healthy growth. Things are going well for this tent as of now. Day 76 notes: Started out by going into the grow room and collecting all the fallen leaves. I then went through the canopy and took out any dead leaves or dying leaves. The canopy is pretty thick so this did take a while. After this I decided to top-dress with 1/4 cup of 5-13-0, 1/8 cup of 5-2-4, About 1/2tsp recharge/ gallon of water, same with kelp. I added 1/4 tsp hydro guard/ gallon of water. I did not add extra soil or any worm castings this time. Everything is looking pretty good in here. I am not seeing any issues as of now. I should have top-dress at the beginning of this week but I think it should be fine. Day 77 notes: Tent smelled a bit funny today but I am willing to bet it is the nutrients that I added the other day that are causing the smell. Everything is looking quite well. The flowers are growing well and are quite beautiful. Really hoping things keep going as well as they have been so far. End of week summary: Easy week. The watering does take a long time but it is okay. The plants have been doing rather well this week. I will bet there is another 7 weeks of flower. Misc. comments:

I am guessing its not an issue since cannabis photoperiod is a long night, so a little more "night" won't hurt, but would it confuse the plants or something? I would appreciate the insight.

Nothing to worrie about! I can insure you that you will not face any issues because of this. Only when you have a constant light leak during your dark period your plants might get stressed, reveg or become hermaphrodite. But a little dark period during the light time does not harm your plant. It will only cost you the photosynthesis during the time beeing dark instead of light.

Vpd has been pretty close to ideal, the pot had 1 gallon less soil so could be missing out on some nutrients? Possibly Potassium? Otherwise not sure what it could be. Does not appear to be N deficiency because the leaves are affected from the top too. What should I do to fix this

Pure and simple potassium deficiency. Add a p/k booster to your routine or up your dose if already using one.

What's going on with these clones? Not sure what it could be. They could possibly be rootbound. They should have been transplanted a few weeks ago but I did not have the space.

This problem is caused by wrong pH from the medium and a nutrient lockout because of that. The issue with cannabis plants is that they are only able to take up nutrients within a small pH window, which ranges from about 6โ€“7 when growing in soil. If the pH is lower or higher than that, the plant cannot take in nutrients, even if they are presentโ€”thus spurring nutrient deficiencies via "nutrient lockout". You need to flush the soil. Just follow these steps. https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-how-and-when-to-flush-marijuana-plants-n312

I know that it is not overfeeding, and I also know that it is not lockout. PH could be off, but I do not think so. So, what deficiency is this?

Hot dam them are some nice looking plants! typicality potassium gets yellow on the edges vs purple. purple coloration can also be caused by cooler temps and end of life, If its brown and crispy and curled up it normally means its over fed. Given that potassium is mobile I'd expect this to be on the lower growth first vs top. I feel this could be lacking a bit of Magnesium but could also be natural fade as your coming to the end of your grow. If you wanted to you could add a bit of epsom salts into the next water and call it a day. Little goes a long way, 1/4 teaspoon per plant for the size of them and monitor if it continues. FYI: We will not be notified of any reply or tag [@] in the questions part of the website, if you need to reach out with other information use your DM "direct mailbox" in the bottom right hand corner of the page. it looks like a little paper airplane icon. Best Of Luck!

I took these clones 7 weeks ago and never got around to transplanting them. As you can see, they are rootbound, stretched, and stunted. My question now is, is there any way I can make these clones usable? If not, it's a lesson for next time, but I want to use these clones.

I honestly don't see why not.... once you get them into larger pots, you can top the ones that have stretched ... what to do with the stunted ones really depends on how/why they were stunted but if you tend them carefully, maybe even think about topping them as well to get new growth going, you could have quite a massive grow going from the looks of it! I wouldn't give up on them - not at all! Just get them into larger pots and get going! :-D Good luck...

How much should I be worried? She did not touch any plants directly. I cannot be certain that she had any mites on her. I am just being cautious. What is the best course of action? If my current flowering plants get mites, can I wash the mites off and still use the flowers

Good that you're being cautious! I always have a bottle of Dr. Zymes Eliminator in my stash of supplies... this or some Spinosad will take care of any leaf sucking insects (spider mites, aphids, thrips, whiteflies) and both are organic so they can be used right up to the day of harvest without any harm to either the plant or what you're smoking/using of your harvest. When you use either one, make sure you're spraying just before lights out. Good luck - hope she didn't bring any with her, although I feel it's pretty safe to say she didn't ... they usually don't attach themselves to humans and travel around like that.... so rest easy but prepare for the worst!

I will be growing 4 plants in 10-gallon pots and then transitioning to a raised bed next year. I need a way to distribute water evenly around the 10-gallon pots. I have noticed that blu-mats only water in a 6-inch radius and depth. Any way to make the water distribution better?

I would recommend 1 tropf blumat and 1 maxi blumat per pot, the maxi blumats are longer so will start watering when the bottom of the pots dry out. I would also add 1 extra drip emitter per blumat to cover a bigger area. that would make up to 4 irrigation points per pot and should be sufficient for a 10-gallon pot. And you would have enough equipment to just transfer over to raised beds without buying new stuff. Even thou I would recommend the BlueSoak for beds.
