~Week 13/ 85-91 days from sprout ~VPD: ~DLI: ~Feeding: Will be fed soon. Possibly next watering. ~Watering: Watering every 2-4 days as necessary. Day 85 notes: Looks great. I will need to lower the light intensity tomorrow as I lowered it the other day in due to tacoing but today when I left the room I turned the light back up to full power. Not too much of a cannabis smell currently. More like tomatoes and blueberries. Day 86 notes: Not much done here today. Smell is still great. Buds actually look visibly different from yesterday density wise. I am really excited about this grow. Unfortunately, the lights shut off for about 30 minutes today mid the day period for the plants. I am not sure if this will affect anything. Also, the plant on the right is getting a bit yellow compared to the other two plants. I bet that PH may be a bit off because the top leaves are showing yellowing even though not most of the bottom is. On the other hand, the pot is an 11-gallon pot, meant for 10 gallons of soil, and I only put in 9. So this plant may have used up all of the available N. Regardless, next time I feed I will be using recharge and kelp. Also, I will say that the plants are looking beautiful IMO. The clones are also doing well; some of them were transferred to my 3x3, while most were left in the 2x2. I will take the best of the clones to practice training or start my next run. Day 87 notes: Looking good in here today. I have went through the canopy again and removed any dead or dying leaves. I also added some soil to the pot that was lacking and had slightly more yellow leaves. I watered each pot today with 2.5 gallons of water and 1/2 tsp of recharge and kelp extract per gallon of water. The smell is getting better and better by the day. The plants are also quite sticky. Next watering will be day 90, which happens to be the same day I plan to chop 3x3 with some autos in it. Day 88 notes: Looks beautiful, though the plant on the right side of the tent is far more yellow than the other two now. It can even be clearly seen in the pictures. I am not too worried since flower is halfway over, but I will keep watching it. On another note, the lights are still at a good 85%. The buds are developing nicely, and the flowers are frosty compared to anything I have grown. Day 89 notes: I swear everyday these buds look bigger. Unfortunately, the plant on the right looks a little sickly every day. I also need to pick up some worm castings for my next top-dress, but it is winter here and most gardening shops and places similar are closed. The plants are looking and smelling beautiful. The smell is really starting to kick in now. Even when they were in veg they had a strong cannabis smell, but at this point the more subtle scents can be detected such as hints of floral scents, berry scents, gasoline scents, tomato scents, and a big of a pungent scent. Tomorrow will be my final feeding for these girls. If not tomorrow, then sometime before the week is up. Day 90 notes: Pretty standard day today. I did water today and took pictures of all of the buds. Also took some pictures of the sickly plant for diagnosis by a professional. So far so good. Today I watered with some more kelp extract at 1tsp of extract/ gallon of water. I will be watering again, and then feeding on day 93. Day 91 notes: Looks good today. Problems with leaves still progressively worse. I did buy some worm castings though and I have some saponin extract and yucca powder on cover crop on the way. End of week summary: The week was pretty good overall. Problems with the leaves have been getting progressively worse and worse. Though, it looks good enough for now. Should be another 34-40 days of flower max. Misc. comments: Need to implement an automatic watering system next time. I also need to pick up some new worm castings sometime soon to help with the growth and micronutrient needs. Something I feel like noting and have said before is that up until this point I have grown only autoflower. People say there is no potency difference, yet if I am being honest, these three random photos not even from a high-brand breeder have been far frostier in the early flowering stage than any auto I have grown. It should also be noted I have just worked with very basic level auto genetics, but so far basic auto genetics compared with random popular photo genetics and the autoflower are not comparing well lol. I am growing Mephisto next run in my auto tent though so I expect the quality to be exponentially higher, and yield to decrease slightly.

I am guessing its not an issue since cannabis photoperiod is a long night, so a little more "night" won't hurt, but would it confuse the plants or something? I would appreciate the insight.

Nothing to worrie about! I can insure you that you will not face any issues because of this. Only when you have a constant light leak during your dark period your plants might get stressed, reveg or become hermaphrodite. But a little dark period during the light time does not harm your plant. It will only cost you the photosynthesis during the time beeing dark instead of light.

Vpd has been pretty close to ideal, the pot had 1 gallon less soil so could be missing out on some nutrients? Possibly Potassium? Otherwise not sure what it could be. Does not appear to be N deficiency because the leaves are affected from the top too. What should I do to fix this

Pure and simple potassium deficiency. Add a p/k booster to your routine or up your dose if already using one.

What's going on with these clones? Not sure what it could be. They could possibly be rootbound. They should have been transplanted a few weeks ago but I did not have the space.

This problem is caused by wrong pH from the medium and a nutrient lockout because of that. The issue with cannabis plants is that they are only able to take up nutrients within a small pH window, which ranges from about 6–7 when growing in soil. If the pH is lower or higher than that, the plant cannot take in nutrients, even if they are present—thus spurring nutrient deficiencies via "nutrient lockout". You need to flush the soil. Just follow these steps. https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-how-and-when-to-flush-marijuana-plants-n312

I know that it is not overfeeding, and I also know that it is not lockout. PH could be off, but I do not think so. So, what deficiency is this?

Hot dam them are some nice looking plants! typicality potassium gets yellow on the edges vs purple. purple coloration can also be caused by cooler temps and end of life, If its brown and crispy and curled up it normally means its over fed. Given that potassium is mobile I'd expect this to be on the lower growth first vs top. I feel this could be lacking a bit of Magnesium but could also be natural fade as your coming to the end of your grow. If you wanted to you could add a bit of epsom salts into the next water and call it a day. Little goes a long way, 1/4 teaspoon per plant for the size of them and monitor if it continues. FYI: We will not be notified of any reply or tag [@] in the questions part of the website, if you need to reach out with other information use your DM "direct mailbox" in the bottom right hand corner of the page. it looks like a little paper airplane icon. Best Of Luck!

I took these clones 7 weeks ago and never got around to transplanting them. As you can see, they are rootbound, stretched, and stunted. My question now is, is there any way I can make these clones usable? If not, it's a lesson for next time, but I want to use these clones.

I honestly don't see why not.... once you get them into larger pots, you can top the ones that have stretched ... what to do with the stunted ones really depends on how/why they were stunted but if you tend them carefully, maybe even think about topping them as well to get new growth going, you could have quite a massive grow going from the looks of it! I wouldn't give up on them - not at all! Just get them into larger pots and get going! :-D Good luck...

How much should I be worried? She did not touch any plants directly. I cannot be certain that she had any mites on her. I am just being cautious. What is the best course of action? If my current flowering plants get mites, can I wash the mites off and still use the flowers

Good that you're being cautious! I always have a bottle of Dr. Zymes Eliminator in my stash of supplies... this or some Spinosad will take care of any leaf sucking insects (spider mites, aphids, thrips, whiteflies) and both are organic so they can be used right up to the day of harvest without any harm to either the plant or what you're smoking/using of your harvest. When you use either one, make sure you're spraying just before lights out. Good luck - hope she didn't bring any with her, although I feel it's pretty safe to say she didn't ... they usually don't attach themselves to humans and travel around like that.... so rest easy but prepare for the worst!

I will be growing 4 plants in 10-gallon pots and then transitioning to a raised bed next year. I need a way to distribute water evenly around the 10-gallon pots. I have noticed that blu-mats only water in a 6-inch radius and depth. Any way to make the water distribution better?

I would recommend 1 tropf blumat and 1 maxi blumat per pot, the maxi blumats are longer so will start watering when the bottom of the pots dry out. I would also add 1 extra drip emitter per blumat to cover a bigger area. that would make up to 4 irrigation points per pot and should be sufficient for a 10-gallon pot. And you would have enough equipment to just transfer over to raised beds without buying new stuff. Even thou I would recommend the BlueSoak for beds.
