Chopped today(1/5/23). Will be aiming for a 7 day dry but I do not know if that will be possible. Initial review; The plants were the easiest I have grown yet. They did run into issues a few times, but they recovered nicely and provided a nice harvest. The flowers look pretty good, though they do not seem to be very dense. They are frosty though, and the smell is very pleasant. Think Blueberry muffins mixed with a sweet stinky diesel. Will be providing updates as I progress. Shooting for a 60/60 environment for drying. Update(1/8/2023); The drying tent smells very wet today. Like the smell of a wet pile of hay after it has rained. Also, these plants are actually pretty LARFY. I do not know if I chopped a few weeks too early(I harvested a few days AFTER recommended breeders' time) or if I just did something wrong during the grow or it was bad genetics. Either way, half of the plant is going to be useless and LARFY, and the rest of the plant is going to have very smell and not very dense flowers after the dry. I was expecting to get a total of 2 lbs out of my 4x4 from 3 plants. That would be about 10.67 ounces per plant. Now, I am going to estimate half of that. I am going to say I might get 1 full pound from the 4x4.

Nutrients
Stonington Plant food did not do what I wanted. The N levels are too high and the P levels are too low. The plants had a nitrogen deficiency sometime in early/mid flower. The fish bone meal seemed to work well, but last grow I remixed the soil and the FBM amendment was literally all completely intact. The fish powder was gone, but the fish bones were still completely intact. This leads me to believe that the Nutrient ratio on the FBM bag is incorrect.
Lights
Great lights. Actually too strong for my current setup but these lights should perform flawlessly if I decide to introduce Co2 in the future. On the other hand, I think it is always better to have more power than less. Also the flowers on the plants are intense. Even the mid and lower flowers look pretty good. When I was using Mars Hydro, this was not the case.
Tents
Held up great this run. Giving it three stars because the first grow I used it in some of the stitching broke which made it no longer lightproof from the inside when fully sealed. I negate this by keeping the lights in the area off during flowering time.

Alright guys. This will be a nice one. I really enjoyed growing this strain. I grew two of the same variety, and they turned out extremely similar phenotypically. The plants grew very easily and well in VEG. They started out nice in flowering stage but they started showing signs of N deficiency. Later on, due to the N deficiency, they started showing K deficiencies. At this point they went down the rabbit hole and were messed up lol. That is grower error though. Had I given an N boost before transition, the plants would have been perfectly healthy the whole grow. Now this was my first experience growing photoperiod plants. I did not train properly. I should have aimed for a far more even canopy, and I should not have had so many lowers. I defoliated way too carefully before transition. Pretty much everything except for the time 5 nodes should be removed. This way you will only have uppers. I am going to do some more research on training techniques. The manifold technique stands out to me. This way you get 32 colas per plant times 4 plants which comes to 128 large colas. 7 grams per large cola CONSERVATIVELY and you are looking at about 896 grams. That being said, I predict I will net about 840 grams of useable dry bud from these plants. I will keep updating this as I see fit. I am checking the plants everyday for airflow and to refill the humidifier. Also decided to chop because both plants had about 90-95% milky trichomes, and about 5-10% amber trichomes.

I am guessing its not an issue since cannabis photoperiod is a long night, so a little more "night" won't hurt, but would it confuse the plants or something? I would appreciate the insight.

Nothing to worrie about! I can insure you that you will not face any issues because of this. Only when you have a constant light leak during your dark period your plants might get stressed, reveg or become hermaphrodite. But a little dark period during the light time does not harm your plant. It will only cost you the photosynthesis during the time beeing dark instead of light.

Vpd has been pretty close to ideal, the pot had 1 gallon less soil so could be missing out on some nutrients? Possibly Potassium? Otherwise not sure what it could be. Does not appear to be N deficiency because the leaves are affected from the top too. What should I do to fix this

Pure and simple potassium deficiency. Add a p/k booster to your routine or up your dose if already using one.

What's going on with these clones? Not sure what it could be. They could possibly be rootbound. They should have been transplanted a few weeks ago but I did not have the space.

This problem is caused by wrong pH from the medium and a nutrient lockout because of that. The issue with cannabis plants is that they are only able to take up nutrients within a small pH window, which ranges from about 6–7 when growing in soil. If the pH is lower or higher than that, the plant cannot take in nutrients, even if they are present—thus spurring nutrient deficiencies via "nutrient lockout". You need to flush the soil. Just follow these steps. https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-how-and-when-to-flush-marijuana-plants-n312

I know that it is not overfeeding, and I also know that it is not lockout. PH could be off, but I do not think so. So, what deficiency is this?

Hot dam them are some nice looking plants! typicality potassium gets yellow on the edges vs purple. purple coloration can also be caused by cooler temps and end of life, If its brown and crispy and curled up it normally means its over fed. Given that potassium is mobile I'd expect this to be on the lower growth first vs top. I feel this could be lacking a bit of Magnesium but could also be natural fade as your coming to the end of your grow. If you wanted to you could add a bit of epsom salts into the next water and call it a day. Little goes a long way, 1/4 teaspoon per plant for the size of them and monitor if it continues. FYI: We will not be notified of any reply or tag [@] in the questions part of the website, if you need to reach out with other information use your DM "direct mailbox" in the bottom right hand corner of the page. it looks like a little paper airplane icon. Best Of Luck!

I took these clones 7 weeks ago and never got around to transplanting them. As you can see, they are rootbound, stretched, and stunted. My question now is, is there any way I can make these clones usable? If not, it's a lesson for next time, but I want to use these clones.

I honestly don't see why not.... once you get them into larger pots, you can top the ones that have stretched ... what to do with the stunted ones really depends on how/why they were stunted but if you tend them carefully, maybe even think about topping them as well to get new growth going, you could have quite a massive grow going from the looks of it! I wouldn't give up on them - not at all! Just get them into larger pots and get going! :-D Good luck...

How much should I be worried? She did not touch any plants directly. I cannot be certain that she had any mites on her. I am just being cautious. What is the best course of action? If my current flowering plants get mites, can I wash the mites off and still use the flowers

Good that you're being cautious! I always have a bottle of Dr. Zymes Eliminator in my stash of supplies... this or some Spinosad will take care of any leaf sucking insects (spider mites, aphids, thrips, whiteflies) and both are organic so they can be used right up to the day of harvest without any harm to either the plant or what you're smoking/using of your harvest. When you use either one, make sure you're spraying just before lights out. Good luck - hope she didn't bring any with her, although I feel it's pretty safe to say she didn't ... they usually don't attach themselves to humans and travel around like that.... so rest easy but prepare for the worst!

I will be growing 4 plants in 10-gallon pots and then transitioning to a raised bed next year. I need a way to distribute water evenly around the 10-gallon pots. I have noticed that blu-mats only water in a 6-inch radius and depth. Any way to make the water distribution better?

I would recommend 1 tropf blumat and 1 maxi blumat per pot, the maxi blumats are longer so will start watering when the bottom of the pots dry out. I would also add 1 extra drip emitter per blumat to cover a bigger area. that would make up to 4 irrigation points per pot and should be sufficient for a 10-gallon pot. And you would have enough equipment to just transfer over to raised beds without buying new stuff. Even thou I would recommend the BlueSoak for beds.
