This will be a wild ride for sure! I've wanted to grow this strain for some time now and finally have an opportunity to see what I can do with it, and I've germinated two so double the fun! "Auto Ultimate is one of the best yielding (if not the best) autoflowering plants in our collection. The genetics come from our original photoperiod parent The Ultimate. You will feel very relaxed and may not want to leave your seat for a while."** **Credit- Dutch Passion.com ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~ Grown in 15L Gronest geotextile pots filled with Mother Earth Grow 70/30 Coco/Perlite with Xtreme Gardening Mykos added. ~ Seeds were germinated directly in the medium without any 'pre-soak' ~ Seeds were planted three days before the Full Moon (Waning Gibbons) and sprouted within 72hrs, on the Full Moon. ~ Feeding will be by Lotus Nutrients (first time using) ~ 24hr light cycle while germinating ~ 20/4 light cycle after first leaves appear. ~ 4x8 Gorilla Tent ~ HLG 650R w/ 30w Supplemental UVA Bar controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. (also a HLG Blackbird for additional side lighting if necessary) ~ Supplemental co2 controlled by an AutoPilot APC 8200 co2 controller ~ AC Infinity Cloudline T6 with Controller 67 using a Terrabloom 6x24" carbon filter ~ De-Humidifier and Humidifier when needed. ~ 14k BTU IdealAir portable A/C unit plumbed into tent for temperature control. ~ BlueLab testing instruments ~ Two Hurricane 18" oscillating fans ~ Two 6" Clip-on fans ~ Two 10" floor mounted fans ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Update: 12/29- Well, here we go... Week Nine of flower and these ladies are looking spectacular! Today I went ahead and watered both to runoff with 72℉ well water that has a base 100ppm, I also turned each of their pots 1/4 turn. 12/31- Yesterday, I let the girls dry out and just turned their pots. Today, I watered both to runoff with 73℉ well water that has a base 100ppm, also turning each of their pots 1/4 turn along with checking their trichomes. These ladies are ready to go dark! 1/1/23- 🎉🎊HAPPY NEW YEAR FAM!!!🎊🎉❤️ This evening, I'll be placing both Auto Ultimate's in the dark for 72 hours to finish them off and boost the trichome production before their harvested. I have the room I use for drying setup with a humidifier/de-humidifier along with temperature control. I'm keeping the temperature at 56-58℉ and the RH @ 50% for the first 24hrs, then I'll set it to 60% for the remainder of the drying period which should hopefully take 10-12 days but I'm fighting really low atmospheric RH so they may only take 8-10 days... the longer, the better! 1/4- Today both Auto Ultimate's were released from their 72hr stint in 'Dark Jail' and let me tell ya, it DOES make a difference if done correctly! Both plants flowers had a noticeable increase in the amount of frost that was visible on their flowers than what there was prior to them going 'dark', and they both looked to have gotten a bit more colorful to boot! I cut the #1 off at her base and hung her whole, while the #2 was sectioned into three parts as it was short and THICK! I wanted to make sure that air could circulate around her colas, preventing any chances of mold or other funky thing to occur. Well friends, the plants are hung, the drying room is on point and I'm anticipating 12-14 days for both of these beautiful ladies from Dutch Passion to finish drying and be ready to trim up, get into jars and begin the curing process. This grow has been so much fun and all the comments, support and ❤️that I've received have left me without any words except...
