I've wanted to grow this strain for some time now and finally had an opportunity to see what I can do with it, and I germinated two, so double the fun! "Auto Ultimate is one of the best yielding (if not the best) autoflowering plants in our collection. The genetics come from our original photoperiod parent The Ultimate. The Ultimate became a bestseller shortly after launch when it was announced that this strain could provide extremely high yields with the buds providing a strong and long-lasting high." ** "Auto Ultimate is a high-THC variety with a pleasant, euphoric feel-good high and anti-anxiety effects. You will feel very relaxed and may not want to leave your seat for a while."** **Credit- Dutch Passion.com ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~ Grown in 15L Gronest geotextile pots filled with Mother Earth Grow 70/30 Coco/Perlite with Xtreme Gardening Mykos added. ~ Seeds were germinated directly in the medium without any 'pre-soak' ~ Seeds were planted three days before the Full Moon (Waning Gibbons) and sprouted within 72hrs, on the Full Moon. ~ Feeding will be by Lotus Nutrients (first time using) ~ 24hr light cycle while germinating ~ 20/4 light cycle after first leaves appear. ~ 4x8 Gorilla Tent ~ HLG 650R w/ 30w Supplemental UVA Bar controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. (also a HLG Blackbird for additional side lighting if necessary) ~ Supplemental co2 controlled by an AutoPilot APC 8200 co2 controller ~ AC Infinity Cloudline T6 with Controller 67 using a Terrabloom 6x24" carbon filter ~ De-Humidifier and Humidifier when needed. ~ 14k BTU IdealAir portable A/C unit plumbed into tent for temperature control. ~ BlueLab testing instruments ~ Two Hurricane 18" oscillating fans ~ Two 6" Clip-on fans ~ Two 10" floor mounted fans ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Harvest Report - Dutch Passion Auto Ultimate Indoor Grow Greetings fellow growers! I am excited to share my harvest report of two Dutch Passion Auto Ultimate plants that were grown indoors for 12 weeks. These plants were grown using 15L fabric pots filled with Coco/Perlite, and I am happy to report that they yielded a total of 309g combined. In this report, I will share the details of the drying process, trimming, and placing the buds in Mason jars to cure. After harvesting the plants, the first step was to dry the buds. The drying, trimming, and curing process can be time-consuming and requires attention to detail, but the end result is worth it as it ensures that the buds have a smooth and pleasant smoke, with a great flavor and potent high. I hung the plants upside down in a dark and well-ventilated room with a temperature of 56-60°F and humidity of around 55-60%. It took approximately 14 days for the buds to dry completely. During the drying process, I made sure to check on the buds daily, ensuring they were not too dry or too moist and used both a de-humidifier and a humidifier along with a fan to gently keep the air moving. Once the buds were dried, it was time for trimming. This is a tedious process that requires patience and attention to detail which I absolutely LOVE to do! I used a pair of Fiskers trimmers, which are my fav's, to carefully trim away any excess leaves, and other unwanted material. This step is important to ensure that the buds are clean and ready for consumption. After trimming, it was time to place the buds in Mason jars for curing. Curing is an essential step in the process of producing high-quality buds that are enjoyable to smoke. I placed the buds in Wide Mouth Mason jars, filling them about 2/3 full. I made sure not to pack them too tightly, as this can affect the curing process. I also place a hygrometer in each jar to get an accurate idea of the RH of the buds. The jars were then placed in a cool and dark place, with a temperature of around 60°F and a humidity of around 45-50%. During the first week of curing, I opened the jars twice a day for about 10-15 minutes to release any excess moisture. After the first week, I opened the jars once a day and then every couple of days for the next 2 weeks until the RH of the of the buds. in the jars reached 60-62% at which point I'm ready to start consuming! In conclusion, I am extremely happy with the yield and quality of the buds produced by the Dutch Passion Auto Ultimate plants although I feel that using different nutrients or growing organically would have resulted in even more spectacular results!
