~ Auto Think Big®️ by Dutch Passion ~ Think Different XXL selection Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together cultivating Dutch Passion's Autoflowering version of their outstanding Skywalker Haze along with three other incredible autoflowers from Dutch Passion that I'm running separately, so buckle up and hold on! This will be a wild ride for sure! I've wanted to grow this strain for some time now and finally have an opportunity to see what I can do with it, and I've germinated two so double the fun! "Auto Think Big is a unique autoflower that originated from our world-famous Auto Think Different. It will therefore not surprise you that in terms of terpenes, this strain shows similarities with our Auto Think Different. Although some Auto Think Big phenotypes may have a similar terpene profile, she is usually slightly different in smell and taste to her parent. In general, Auto Think Big has a fruity, citrus-dominant aroma with mainly floral and sweet notes. She can also smell a bit creamy and pine-like. In terms of taste, she leans most towards citrus, lime and frankincense. When you smoke her in a joint or consume her with a vape, you will immediately taste her fruity sweet flavors. On both the inhale and exhale you can experience a strong citrus taste that reminds you of the zest of a lemon. If you're looking for yields that can easily yield between 1-2g/watt, this is the one for you." ** **Credit- Dutch Passion.com ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~ Grown in 15L Gronest geotextile pots filled with Mother Earth Grow 70/30 Coco/Perlite with Xtreme Gardening Mykos added. ~ Seeds were germinated directly in the medium without any 'pre-soak' ~ Seeds were planted three days before the Full Moon (Waning Gibbons) and sprouted within 72hrs, on the Full Moon. ~ Feeding will be by Lotus Nutrients (first time using) ~ 24hr light cycle while germinating ~ 20/4 light cycle after first leaves appear. ~ 4x8 Gorilla Tent ~ HLG 650R w/ 30w Supplemental UVA Bar controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. (also a HLG Blackbird for additional side lighting if necessary) ~ Supplemental co2 controlled by an AutoPilot APC 8200 co2 controller ~ AC Infinity Cloudline T6 with Controller 67 using a Terrabloom 6x24" carbon filter ~ De-Humidifier and Humidifier when needed. ~ 14k BTU IdealAir portable A/C unit plumbed into tent for temperature control. ~ BlueLab testing instruments ~ Two Hurricane 18" oscillating fans ~ Two 6" Clip-on fans ~ Two 10" floor mounted fans ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Well family, I must say that this group of Autoflowers from Dutch Passion Genetics were some of the longest growing Auto's I've cultivated! Most Autoflowers are finished in 8-10 weeks, these beauties took anywhere from 12-15 weeks, with these Auto Think Big's finishing at Week 12! Growing these Auto Think Big's was straight forward, germinated directly in their 15L pots and fed Lotus nutrients for the entire run with a 10 day flush at the end. They were kept on a 20/4 light cycle for the complete grow and did very well. It was very interesting being able to cultivate two of the same strain and end up with two very distinct phenotypes which gave me a better idea of what is possible with this strain! Neither of the plants were topped and only had minimal LST performed as I wanted to see a true representation of this strain. One phenotype grew short and was very bushy with super tight node spacing. That phenotype grew some massive colas that were stacked tightly and very frosty with some lavender and pink hues to the tips. The other phenotype grew taller and had tightly stacked flowers, but not the size of the other pheno. The second phenotype also developed a blueish hue to her once she hit late flower, which I think was due to her flowers being covered in glistening trichomes! As I mentioned, her flowers weren't quite the size of the other plant but what she lacked in size she made up for in quantity, having a plethora of frosty, stacked flowers covering her! Overall this was a really fun strain to grow and my only wish, in hindsight, would be to have grown them 100% organic as I feel that due to what they were being fed did not allow them to reach their full potential. The next time I grow this strain they'll be in living soil and I'll really see what they're capable of! I'd highly recommend Dutch Passion Auto Think Big to anyone looking for a strain that would be ideal for tight spaces, a ScrOG setup or for vertical gardens in a large setup. Auto Think Big is easy to grow, is stress tolerant and yes, she can have a big appetite!
