Light pruning to remove leaves at the bottom of the plant. Reduced plant to light distance as PAR and increased light cycle as DLI was too low and saw some great improvement in growth.

Plant is stretching a bit with some appearance of Pistils, started bloom nutes for pre-flowering, but still has a way to go. Plant is quite low as I trained her that way (accidentally 😅) hopefully won’t affect yields too much. Update following question: general consensus is that light meter app is unreliable so Im using the PAR chart from the grow light as a measurement. Boost Buddy CO2 bag added to the tent with a good effect. Plant seems to be doing well in all, one browned tip and no other seemed to appear.

Does anyone have any opinions regarding the LST being that low? PAR is around 635 with a DLI of 46 at the tallest cola. pH is quite constant between 6.2-6.5 with very little nutrients given so far.

if DLI is 46 with no added co2 to atmosphere, then it's probably in part your light.. it's a bit too intense. if you are using a phone app, it's possible it's just an inaccurate reading too. phone apps absolutely cannot accurately measure umol/s of various wavelengths of light. all it is doing is converting lux, which also has a problem because the phones camera is not so directional, lol... so it reads light from a very wide angle as opposed to what hits it straight on.. which is what real lux or quantum meters are designed to do. easy to rule it out... how tight are the growth nodes ("internode" length)? if fine, the light is no issue. If too tight on anything growing vertically, consider raising light relative to severity tightness or dim etc. Just eh opposite if anything stretches... same procedure as any other time in grow. Extreme LST can stall a plant. you will usually see some 3-fingerd leaves accompany any lst stress that goes about some 'threshold' for that plant... genetic variety exists in this respect. I've bent plants horizontal early and had no issues. i've ben plants over horizontally and had some funky growth. The growth doesn't necessarily stop.. more often it is just spread out more evenly before, therefore is an illusion it has slown down. Initial axillary buds takea second to really kick into gear as far as what our eyes see. Cellular growth ramps up exponentially. coco isn't magic, btw. if you want a similar water capacity:air ratio with soil you want to 50% of substrate to be perlite or similar. Not too chunky that it impedes root growth. Preferably not large chunks fo wood chips, for example. proper drainage and o2 penetration is the same regardless in this context and should have similar root growth, therefore similar growth above ground. coco holds 2/3rds teh volume of water ethat soil typically does... you can see why the suggested ratios are 70/30 for coco and 50/50 for a likely peat or similarly based soil. (66/33 would be a more precise calculation for coco, but 70/30 is just easier to market and say) coco has a chance of being riddled with salt in any batch.. it can and will hapen eventually. it's a great substrate.. it's just that though.. nothing mystical or magical tha makes it superior. if there seems to be, they are comparing to a poorly run soil grow is all with poor drainage or lower o2 presence in substrate.. flip a coin. that's not a valid comparison.

So week 7 started off horribly, whilst some defoliation and lollipopping and trying to reach behind the developing main cola I snapped the main stem, effectively topping the plant accidentally. I attempted to fix it immediately gave some nutes, however it wilted away after a few hours. On the whole this girl is looking pretty healthy, we’ll see how much this mishap will affect the yield. Week 7 day 5: plant is now in flowering

Week 8 Day 1: Plant has really done some decent progress, especially after that accidental topping last week. I removed the SCROG net as it was pretty much useless being so short of a plant. I opened her up and did some lollipoping so that I expose the centre of the plant and even out the canopy, this will most likely be the last LST. Day 2: Flowers are starting to stretch well, Central buds (Now exposed to light) have already started to fill up and stretch as well. Day 7: Buds are really starting to grow and stretch rapidly now. Already looking super Frosty.

Week 11: So by now the plant has stopped or at least slowed down drastically on the stretching. It’s stacking up on the buds and some of them fattening up amazingly. Trichomes are generally milky white but still have some clear ones so going to wait a bit more than probably start flushing next week, but obviously depending on the coming days and how it develops.

Still fascinated by how dense and fat these nugz are getting. Trichomes have really started to shine. I'm trying to flush 4L at a time at around 5 day intervals. Don't know if this will have any difference but we'll see later on I guess. This week my new Spider Farmer light also arrived so I switched to that (as the 100W light was really struggling at this point) hopefully it will give some improved results.

Considering that I accidentally snapped her top off in early flowering this plant really gave it her all. Some dense buds with an amazing terpene profile.

This was my first Tent grow (I've always grown in a spare room behind a glass window before this), and honestly it's been a real pleasure, having such a stable environment and just making minor tweaks is so much more pleasurable. The end product is still to be tested after proper drying and curing however I can honestly say those nugz look huge compared to my usual grows.
