= Note
Plant's day starts at evening. When I say morning, it's my morning. For plant, it's evening :-)
= Day 1
One day in a glass of water with a few splashes of hydrogen peroxide until roots appeared.
Not the best peat pellet, but the only one I was able to get around. I placed it as a pyramid and dig an air pocket at the top. Then prepared some neutral pH water, and splashed some on pellet.
Seed placed inside of pocket, with root directed down. Air pocket closed at the top by scratching the surface with a toothpick.
= Day 2
Plant appeared.
Prepared water. Initial pH level was too high. Used 7ml of pH-down per 20l of water.
Expanded clay from DWC kit was dirty. I don't want all this dirt in the bucket. Washed it with water. One time was enough.
Added too many nutrients. Instead of 0.2ml/l of each component, I (by mistake) added 0.5ml/l. If plant is strong enough, it should be fine.
Air tube from DWC kit is shitty. Non-flexible & short. Replaced with a better one from local pet store.
Air pump for DWC connected via UPC to save plant in a moment of blackout (happens here).
Set up 16hrs light cycle starting at 9:00pm.
Average temperature 26 Celsius degrees.
Good night, lady. Sleep well!
= Day 3
First true leaves appeared. Small, but look healthy. Good chances she'll be fine.
= Day 4
Leaves grow but slow. Decreased light a bit and added simple humidifier.
= Day 5
Looks healthy.
Evening. I can see next leaves! Tiny but they are there.
= Day 6
Can clearly see next leaves. Vegetation started.
Day 1
Not too much ventilation under the glass. So there is extra liquid in the pellet (looks shiny).
I concern seed can suffocate.
Left uncovered to evaporate some.
