Started training the two seedlings to share the grow space as they grow. Their nutrients have been increased as the continue to grow well. I'm expecting strong grow this week, in which case I'll put them under the HPS light next week when I expect them to start showing signs of flowering. This is my first proper auto grow, so I'm not entirely sure what'll happen when, and how, but it'll be good to see.
Moved under the HPS now that they're properly established. They're growing nicely and with the sideways training I'm doing there are lots of tops developing.
I’ve been training them horizontally and they’ve been growing super bushy with dozens of tops. I’ve cleaned them up properly now and will let them grow normally from here as they start to flower.
They have grown back strong and bushy, with good maturing. I expect them to gain quite some height this week as they seem to have started the pre-flower stretch.
Hi @JemFinnaughty! With bushy plants, defoliation is highly advised, especially when flowering has begun, because bud-sites need the maximum light to properly develop and transform into fatty-sticky-smelly buds. However, remember that after 2-3 weeks of blooming, your plant won't produce new leaves anymore, so you should avoid to 'over-do' and just tuck the main fan leaves that are creating shades onto lower bud-sites. Massive growth last week, clearly in the stretch. Pistols are here and there but little development. I'm hoping they start to flower properly this week.
Their growth has been ridiculous for the past two weeks. I’m assuming they must be done with their stretch soon so I have reduced their grow nutes. I’m keen to see them fatten up.
These ladies have finished with their stretch. They're starting to pump out pistols everywhere and are drinking up water like there's no tomorrow. They're in week 10 now so I'm interested to see how long they take to fatten up as they are classified as super autos.
They’ve finished up with their stretch and are properly into flowering now, throwing out pistols like mad. They’ve probably got about a month left so they should yield some really good buds. A heat wave this week might cause a bit of trouble, though.
Did some mass defoliation as they’re getting thick now. The light is a bit close for comfort but I can't raise it any higher. I'm excited to see them bulk up now.
They’re fattening up nicely, struggling to support their own weight. The pistols are starting to turn amber a lot more so I expect to harvest them soon.
