10/21 - Ordered these seeds from MVB and within 72 hours they're in the dirt. Much to my surprise, the tube contained 4 seeds, so I have an extra that I'll pair with some other 'extras' on future runs. So, I got these 3 n the soil with humidity domes on, sitting on a heating pad. The 3 seedlings on the left are Gorilla Cookies from FastBuds. They're 6 days from seed. PPFD @300.
10/31 - Day 10 - Moving to autowatering pots this week. Feeding at week 2 with Flora series. I plan on using the nutes the at the manufacturers recommended levels for this grow. New soil, new nutes, new strain. I'm in for a new experience.
11/4 - Day 14 - put these in autowatering pots last night. Recovering from light burn.
11/26 Day 36 nutes. Moved to autopots. Preflowering.
11/27 Day 37 - added support poles and raised lights a couple inches.
12/1 Day 41 Recovering from the AutoPot debacle. Also had some nute deficiency going on at the same time. Alright, back on schedule with top down watering/nutes when light. Flowering on all 3, showing main flower. Need to do LST, but didn't want to stress the plants anymore than I had.
12/5 Day 45 - Nutes and trimmed some leaves
12/7 Day 47 - Nutes
12/9 Day 49 - Water. Tallest plant measures 24". All 3 are pretty close in appearance. Noticing how strong the side branches are. This tells me it's building to support some serious weight.
At end of week 7, the Mephisto's Sour Stomper are outperforming the Fastbud's Gorilla Cookies, which are ending week 8.
12/12 - Day 52 - Nutes and fish emulsion additive 5ml/gal. Love the branch structure of these genetics.
12/14 - Day 54 - Nutes. Removed poles this week, as they are not necessary and cumbersome. I moved the plants around a bit and raised the lights. PAR Coming in between 500-750 PPFD, another reason to have multiple lights. Today, these girls range from 22-30"(56-76 cm), so there's a significant height difference. Two of these are tall, one is stocky. The stocky girl has a THICK base, so she's gonna be a winner. I may try to STS one of her branches. I included a family photo, the SS are the 3 on the right.
12/14 - Day 55 - Water, but I also trimmed the squatty SS. Also, since she got some chop, she'll get more air flow. And I pollenated one branch with some male gorilla cookies pollen. Late I know, but I'll harvest that branch last.
12/17 Day 57 Nutes - only used half strength bloom and calmag. I need to slow down all the vegetation, and stretch out the plant lifecycle a little longer.
12/22 - Day 62 Nutes
1/8 Water
1/9 - Day 80 Pictures. She's looking great, but no amber. This is just 1 of 3 of these SSs in this tent. I just didn't want to drag them all out for a picture.
1/10 Nutes
Must mention there is a pollinated branch on this particular plant. I wanted to capture the short and stocky characteristics.
I really like the branch structure and the leaf to branch ratio. I'm going to say pretty easy to grow. I did not perform ANY LST on these 3, and I should have. These plants managed to branch out on their own pretty early, so that was like auto LST, but could have been better if I had stepped in. I smoked some while drying, but not a smoke report to give yet. I don't weigh my stuff weight, but I did wet trim.
Pretty easy grow. From the 3 plants, here are the dried weights per plant. I used grove bags for this grow, so let's see what we end up with. From what I smoked (dried some bud after wet trim), even without being cured, the draw was smooth. Smooth as in it had been curing. It dried for 8 days, so that helped.
