This strain was definitely a blast to grow! This is my first auto grow, and I'm really please with the results. I was expecting more genetic variability in autos than photoperiods, and these three plants showed me exactly this! I had three distinct phenotype, even though they shared a similar plant structure and bud formation, each one ended up really different from each other, which for me was a great surprise! Phenotype #1: This plant rushed to finish way before the others, and with a small structure, it get really nice dense buds, with almost no popcorns. After smoking some of these alone and with friends, I think that this plant got more of the Skunk side of it's breeding. The smell is really skunk, with a little bite of frozen yogurt, giving a little bit of sourness. It is a really nice smoke for the day, helping me with my back pain throughout the day. Wet weight: 333g, trimmed dry bud: 63g Phenotype #2: This plant was kind of the dark horse on this run for me, it didn't had any issues growing out, but untill the third week of flowering it was just average to me. It got a really nice deep purple color in the leaves, and then coloring even the calyxes with this beautiful color at the end of flowering. Besides it's appearance, it got a really nice bud formation and I think that it got the most out of my LST training. The buds are really dense, going a little bit more to the sativa side speaking of bud formation. The smell, damn! It smell so good! For me it is a really nice mix of blueberries, earth notes, skunk, but this all with a really nice sweet profile. This is the one that I got more amber trichomes at the end, around 25%, and the couchlock is real folks! It hits so hard that you'll find getting up from your couch after a fat one, a huge task πŸ˜‚ Definitely my favorite to smoke at the end of my work day ;) Wet weight: 480g Trimmed dry buds: 79g Phenotype #3: This one is my champ! It produced like a beast, with some heavy dense colas. From the beginning it was the one that grew more, had more bud sites and the one that produced it more. It responded really well to the training too, even though I think that I could had spread out a little more. The buds smell like passion fruit! They are so citrus yet so sweet that I could eat one πŸ˜‚ The taste is delicious like the smell, and it goes untill the end of the joint. About about the high, it is definitely the more sativa one, with a punch like the Pheno #2 but with less body high, and much more mental. I harvested it with less amber trichomes tho ;) Super pleased with, and this is choose to smoke during my work day πŸ˜‚ It gets me really creative and active πŸ‘Œ Wet weight: 615g Trimmed dry buds: 116g I'm really pleased with the work that RQS put in the breeding selection, this strain is definitely a go to for any beginner, and to someone with a little bit of experience, it can be a game changer in terms of yield.

Reviews. Nutrient
I've already used biobizz before, and they are super consistent, not expensive, and easy to use. I think that it really improves the flavor and smell which is my main goal. And I can't complain at all in terms oh yield, on the contrary, I think that my plants grew super happy with it, which ended up with amazing results for me πŸ™
Reviews. Lamp
My first time using LEDs and this beast blew my mind! Almost 2g/w, in my past grow using HPS it was a dream far away. The lamp is really sturdy, and it gave me the power that I needed in my quest. Can't be more thankful.
Reviews. Tent
Well, this tent is just average. And I don't think that it has the best ending of the market. Even though is an entry-level product, I di d not expected it to have some holes in the door due the folding while opening and closing. It could have also have one hole each side of the tent to place your tubes and not just in one side, limiting where you can put your tent if you don't have plenty of space.

Grow Questions

People with experience using the MH TS1000, between 24"-30" at 25% seems like a reasonable height to put my light over the plants in initial vegetative state at my 2x2ft tent? Thank you! :)

I'm rather new to led lights. I use the bigger version of that light the ts3000. I've got my light set at 36 inches and run it on full power all the way through, my friend who has the same light as you ts 1000 does the same. I think it's strange how you got light burn when running it at 25-30%. Have you used a pre loaded soil ? Could be that other than light burn. I've fried a few seedlings using the wrong soil and or lights. We grow and we learn.

May i ask, how often do you feed them, with every watering? And do you rly use 5ml bloom per 1 litre? Thanks for answer. Your grow looks great. πŸ™ƒ
felixthegrower
felixthegrowercommented2 years ago
@Needweed, no problem g, everybody is a beginner at some point ;) I have around 300ppm in my tap water, but for some reason the water from my shower is 70ppm 😁 For the watering I still use distilled water but I use this water with low ppm for the flush.

Needweedcommented2 years ago
@felixthegrower, Thanks for answering, iam rly just a beginner. What about your ppm in tap water? I have 350ppm for example so i doont have to add a lot of nutrients to go over 500-600. Thanks
felixthegrower
felixthegrowercommented2 years ago
@Needweed, hey buddy ;) I feed them every watering, but but just because biobizz is "organical-ish" πŸ˜…, and yes I use 5ml B.Bloom per 1 litre, I try to focus on the ppm, and the bloom doesn't add as much to it as the grow. I don't use the alg-a-mic every watering tho. Thanks for the compliment πŸ™βœ¨

Man this week the ladies look so nice purple. Great work... Do you keep the temperature low, that the purple phenotyp comes or it's just a purple strain no matter what temp ?
felixthegrower
felixthegrowercommented2 years ago
@peterkleber7, thanks so much man πŸ™ the lower temperature played a major role for sure, I don't know if that would be posible to accomplish if it was not winter here where I live now πŸ€” I wasn't aiming for a purple strain but it was a really pleasant surprise! And you can see that genetic plays a major role since they are all from the same strain but they've different shades of purple even with the same environment :)

Oh my Felix. Your harvest look great. I hope we will see 150g+ Do u have any filter in your drying box? I thinking about that too how to dry my shit in the best way
felixthegrower
felixthegrowercommented2 years ago
@peterkleber7, hey Peter my bro, thanks for the kind words πŸ™πŸ™ I'm thinking that I'll beat this mark too, after weighting the first one down, but let's see it how it goes 😁 I'm pretty happy so far. No bro I don't have a filter in the dry box, I was planning to dry them all in the same tent that I use to grow but I had to improvise since nature called the first one πŸ˜… But it is in my future plans to have another tent with a good filter to dry it because it is hard to get away with all that smell 🀣
