2 Scoops Auto: DWC Small Batch

The 2 Scoops is growing very well. I'm trying to correct some past mistakes and am a little bit more focused on light levels this time around. I've started using a light meter (app actually) and turned the lights way down to be more in tune with recommended PAR levels. In the past, I've pretty much run them full strength from the start and I think that may have contributed to some of the issues I've had. We'll see what happens this time around. 🤞

2 Scoops is continuing to grow really well. One thing I've noticed since keeping the light levels within the recommended PAR limits is that the spacing between nodes is not as tight as what I typically see with my plants. Consequently, I was able to pretty easily bend her over and perform some rudimentary LST rather than FIM her as I typically would. It will be interesting to see how this turns out. Haven't done any LST indoors since my very first grow. I'm feeding more than I have in the past - meaning I'm feeding to to the manufacturer's recommendations rather than half or 2/3 strength. No issues to report so far. Let's hope that continues to be the case ✌️

The 2 Scoops is continuing to perform really well. My lazy LST attempt seems to have had the desired effect and there are a few nice tops throughout the plant. I haven't decided whether or not I'll set up the ScrOG for this one. She'll have the tent to herself for this grow so I may not bother. We'll see how stretchy things get.

The 2 Scoops is looking fantastic. She went into flower several days ago and has grown 8" since last week. Everything seems to be agreeing with her so far - light levels and nutes. I think she's also benefitting from some extra oxygenation in her bucket as she doesn't have to share the power of the pump with another plant. Her EC/PH was very stable last week. I made no adjustments until the rez change yesterday - added Remo's Bloom and Flower nutes along with some Sensizym. Looking forward to the weeks ahead 👀

The Two Scoops is growing great and hasn't taken long to fill out the tent. She's grew another 10" since last week and is about 30" tall currently. I'd love it if she is finished her stretch and stays this size 🤞 PH has been pretty stable all week, ranging between 5.9-6.2. EC has been right around 1.4-1.5. No changes with this week's rez change - same routine as last week. I did some pruning of the lower branches and super cropped the main stem to even out the canopy - she's looking good I put the second MARS TS1000 into the tent to provide broader light coverage. Both lights are set to just under 80% and the PAR measurements seem to be in a good range according to my Photone lighting app 🤞I'll be conscious of the temps the extra light generate. Using an infrared thermometer, the temp at the highest point of the canopy is sitting at about 80 F currently. More news next week!

The 2 Scoops has made herself at home. She's the boss and has taken over. She's about 38" tall now and I'm hoping she's done stretching as she's now only 8-10" away from the lights (which are as high as they can go). I've been monitoring things with my lux app and have reduced the intensity of the lights to about 60-65%. The temp at the top the canopy is hovering around 78º so no concerns on that front. Yay! I'm not burning things up for a change! 🔥😃 I pruned many branches beneath the canopy to help keep things airy and little more open as she had a lot of thick undergrowth. I also super cropped the main stem one more time - its since recovered and settled in on par with the rest of the tops. Rez change yesterday with more of the same as the past few weeks. Extra flowering rations for her starting next week. I'm super impressed with her progress so far. Can't wait to get some 2 Scoops into a cone 💨 ✌️

Much to my delight, the 2 Scoops is still doing really well, despite her close proximity to the lights. The lights have been turned down to about 55-60% power and light readings throughout the canopy are acceptable with the exception of a couple of hot spots. Nothing I can see that is troubling at this point. Her buds are nicely stacked and starting to fatten and get frosty; the tent is getting more fragrant too - kind of skunky and doughy. Increased her feed this week - no big PH or EC swings last week. More news next week ✌️

The 2 Scoops is still looking pretty good for the most part. I inadvertently bumped the dimmer on one of the lights and it was running at almost full intensity for a couple of days - she didn't like that. I daisy chained the lights (which I should have done from the start) so I can control both from one switch and turned things down to about 50% intensity. Light levels and temps are more comfortable for her now. EC has been running high over the past week - not unexpected at this stage. 1.8 near the start of the week - running around 2.2-2.3 towards the end. Rez change yesterday - no changes to her mix. Buds are getting fatter and frostier. The tent reeks - it smells like I have a crop of sour dish rags in there. Funky. 😃 More news next week. ✌️

The Two Scoops is looking and smelling great. I acquired a new tent that provides much more head room (3x3x6.5) and moved Scoops into her new digs today. She should be much happier not growing directly into the lights and more comfortable as we head towards the finish line. Rez change today - probably her last big feed before we finish things up. 2 or 3 more weeks to go me thinks. More news next week. ✌️

The 2 Scoops is looking stacked and smelling funky. Her branches were very floppy following the move into the new tent last week so I threw the elastic ScrOG net over her the best I could to get things stable. Needless to say, there was some unintended defoliation that went along with that exercise. She wasn't too happy for the first day or so after the move but she looks happier now and is ripening up nicely as we head to the finish. Some purple hues showing in some of the leaves now. I've just been topping her up with water for the past week. Her EC was running up near 2 and I've since diluted her bucket to about 1.2. Not further feedings til she finishes - 2 more weeks me thinks. More news next week. ✌️

We're into the home stretch with the 2 Scoops with just a few days to go until harvest. She's got a nice purple fade going on and smelling quite dank. Trichs throughout the plant are mostly cloudy at this point but I'll let her ripen up a little longer until I seem some amber happening. Hopefully, my next update will be the harvest report.
