Time for round 2 of brain cake. Now these plants were done last min because this tent was originally going to be my auto tent. But unfortunately the seeds I had didn't work out. Popped them, everything looked fine, they started to sprout and then just stopped... all of them. I started them at the same time as my Acapulco Gold and my Radical Juice seeds and they all did amazing. So why they failed I have no idea... but the fact it was 4 seeds, 2 different strains all from the same breeder failed is well questionable. So because of that I decided it go back to good old faithful ripper seeds and use some of the brain cake seeds I've had for well over a year and well they did great lol sprouted in 24 hours and started growing fast. Out of all the plants ive grown in the last 5 years, ripper seeds is the only breeder i have 100% success rate with the seeds. There only 2 weeks from then and probably would be a bit better looking if I hadn't fucked up my Ph for a few days. But there doing better now. Eventually they well be transplanted into my 3.6g autopot units. The set up is going to be changed a bit but as of rite now it goes... - autopot 3.6g module with airdome - Spider-Farmer SE-3000 - ex-hale co2 bag - 8" box fan - 6" oscillating desk fan - 6" Spider-Farmer duct fan (original modle) Now I currently am looking at changing my light to the Viparspectra xs4000 for three reasons. 1. Higher watt light (450) that also has 730nm diodes (se-3000 is 300w and doesn't have 730nm diodes because its the first version of the light) 2. Better coverage area (2x4) and better shape for the tent (40"×12"), especially when the duct fan turns on (SE-3000 is 2.5x2.5 3. Last but not least better quality. I've been running Spider-Farmer lights now for almost 3 years and I've found there quality has gone down hill the last few years. The XS1500 I ran in my 2x3 tent did amazing this last go around and because of that and the reasons listed above that I'm looking at switch the light out. Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone!!!!

I should have waited a extra week before I reported these plants. The roots were no where near developed enough and there wasn't a root ball or anything. I'm fairly certain that I damaged some of the roots and slowed down growth for almost 2 full days. They have slowly started to bounce back but as you can see in thw pictures there still far from perfect. I'm hoping they well make a full recovery and be ready by this time next week so I can activate my autopot system. Well that's all for now Happy growing!!!

The autopot system is running smoothly and both plants growth has started to pick up a bit. Both plants started germinating roughly 3 weeks after my other two tents and for seeds that are well over a year old, there growing strong. Now unlike my other two tents these plants still have a few weeks of veg to go and are on there own separate system. Because of current supply issues I've decided to not order the new light yet, also I'm debating switch to a light that's made by a local company that just started up a few months back. There quality is top notch and from what ive seen from some reviews so far there amazing lights. Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone!!!

Well i know i said last week that I most likely wasn't going to be able to upgrade my light in this tent till next grow because of stock shortage, but I got a email from them the next day letting me know that the light was back in stock amd would be shipping the same day. So bam new light. WAY BETTER coverage compared to the Spider-Farmer SE-3000 light and a extra 150w. Definitely a improvement lol. Plants are going to have another 1-2 weeks of veg and then it'll be flower time. Happy growing everyone!!!

Damn I must say this XS4000 light is just killing it. Running at 20% power and I'm getting better coverage and umols every square foot then when I was running the Spider-Farmer SE-3000 at 45%. Couldn't be happier with this lights performance so far. Plants had a bit of a rough week with some watering issues. Tank got a bit to warm and the plant Next to the fans had its tray dry up some how. Going to have to look into that. Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone!!!

First week of flower done and I have already seen a lot of grown from the plants. Both plants started to stretch faster and faster just after the first two days of flower. Next grow I'm going to be doing three plants in this tent with just FIMing and topping so I can flip it quickly. Not a lot to talk about. Happy growing everyone!!!!

So as you can see I removed a lot from both plants, and I mean alot lol. I cut off a good 20+ small branches from the lower section on both plants. I also removed all the leaves from the lower section and a fair amount from the upper section. This is how I used to do my leaf strip and lolipoping and I haven't been this extremely in awhile. Hopefully it'll really slow the plants down because there both growing really really fast. Hopefully they only have roughly another weekish of growth and then that's it. Because if not I might have to turn my light down a bit and no one wants that lol. Well that's all so happy growing everyone!!!!

So as you can see I did a bit of LST on the plants this week for 2 reasons. 1 to pull the branches a bit more apart, they were all very close togther so now hopefully with the extra space they might be able to grow a it better bow that they hvmave more light. 2, the plants are getting a tad too tall and I needed to pull them back a bit so I don't have to turn the light down. I looked at my last grow of brain cake and it was around this time that she started to slow down so hopefully that happens here soon lol Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone!!!

Damn now this is going to be some killer smoke when it's done. First time growing brain cake I had a few issues but the end product was still amazing. But this here is just at the end of week 4 and I can already tell as long as it keeps going the way it is, this is going to be some awesome final product. Wouldn't expect anything less from a ompany like ripper seeds. Have a few leave fans that are starting to develop trenchomes on them and that's when you know it's going to be good. The new Viparspectra XS4000 light is working out great. So far I'd say they make a far more superior light then company's like Mars Hydro and Spider-Farmer. The buds are nicer and so far the quality of the end product is a lot nicer and heavier and at the end of the day that's what really matters. Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone!!!

And just like the first time I grew brain cake, these plants are just COVERED in trenchomes and there still have weeks to go. Now they never have big massive buds, but they are dense as hell tho. Probably going to go the full 10 weeks with both plants. Not going to rush it, want to make sure I knock this strain out of the park this go around. Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone!!!!

Oh man does this like it's going to be some absolutely killer smoke!!! The fan leaves are growing more and more sugar and the buds and actually sugar leavers are just CAKED in sugar. The first time I grew brain cake I had the same thing happen amd damn was it amazing smoke. Brought it on a massive camping trip and everyone that was there was smoking it and said it was some of the best weed they had ever had. Unfortunately tho I don't think I'll get close to the same size yeild this time that I got last time. But whatever just keep it all for myself this time lol. As always the product looks amazing and i wouldn't count on anything less from ripper seeds. There product is always top notch, better then some of the top seed companies out there that I've tried. Radical Juice is the 9th strain from there main line up that I've tried. There's 19 strains in there main lineup and my current grower goal is to grow them all. Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone!!!!

Man both plants are looking crazy frosty. Now just like last time I didn't get a lot of stacking or massive bud build up but definitely got some thick dense nugs that's for sure. Trenchomes are still looking a bit milky but no amber yet so I'm going to be giving them another few days before I start flushing. She's a 8.5 to 10 week strain so if I let her go another week before flushing then I should be hitting the 10 week mark for when there done. Well that's all for now, happy growing everyone!!!

I'm only 5 days into flush so far. Noticed that the leaves are turning a bit purple this go around. Lowered the temperature to see how well it effects the plants during the last week. The buds look absolutely amazing so far. The trenchomes are starting to show a few amber heads so hopefully by the end of next week I'll have a bit more. Well that's all for now. Happy growing!!!

We have now completed 2 weeks of flushing but the trenchomes are only 20% amber. Going to let them go for another for another day or so then I think I'll chop them down. Excited to be at the end of this grow, it's been fun but it's time to grow some zombie Bride in this set up!!!! Well that's all for now so happy growing everyone!!!

The plants colors looked great and the trenchomes were at about 20-30% amber and the 70-80% milky. The smell is amazing and I can not wait to see how the end product ends up.
the end.
