Grow Questions

I was wondering how long do I keep waiting for seeds to germinate. Did I do something wrong I just put them straight into dirt and hp the water to 6.0 and I spray the pots daily and have them under the dome for moisture but now so far one sprouted in 8days.

Less is more when it comes to watering at this stage. 8 days isn’t unheard of for germination depending on how old the seed is, environment, etc. i’d give them up to 14 days. But seriously, to much water at this stage will ruin then, i’ve done it before. I take a spray bottle and spritz the soil about the seed in about a 2-3 inch circle around to the point where its damp 1-2 times daily. Also, pick up some clear plastic cups from the store and poke some holes in them and place it over the seeds location as a dome, early stages they love extra humidity. Do not water again until the top inch of the soil is dry.

Since you're using a soil-less medium, that does have some start-up nutrients in it I would start feeding them after day 10 by then they'll be ready and start with about 1/4 strength.

Depending upon your substrate really. If in coco day 7 to 10. If in soil 2 to 4 weeks. Just Depending on how much is already in it.

When is the best time or how to tell it’s time for nutrients. And does weired growing leafs mean bad seeds or bad genetics’?

I would not stay your leaves are growing in weird at all. they tend to be a bit more yellow and green up after they emerge. You normally need to feed 2-3 weeks after the seed is sprouted in a fortified potting mix. If it is not fortified and just coir and perlite for example you will need to feed from day 1 and adjust that for the size of the plant. Bigger plants bigger feeds baby plants next to no feeds. Best Of Luck!
