My first attempt at micro grow.
Pretty small! (400ml)
I grow organic and considering she will always have a tiny root system,
I'll use a foliar fertilizer as well.
I germinate the seed in clean water and will plant into soil when the root is aprox 1cm.
It's germinating very slow, I think it's the fenotype because in the glass of water the root grew only about 1mm per day.
Also I made a mistake by making the soil a little bit too wet.
Nothing I can do about it now. She will live and come back strong, I have faith in her 😇
I made the soil just a bit too wet during week 1 and since it's a none-breathing pot it takes a while to dry again.
Plant did not grow much her second week, but she still looks healthy and the foliar spray made sure she is in good company that protects her against damping off and other nasty stuff 😉
It's good if she stays small, she only has 400ml after all!
Chai Tea with Snoop Dogg and Hei-di 😆
So far just giving a little bit of water twice per week. She should have enough nutrients packed into that little can until flower starts!
Considering the tiny pot she gets a big dosis of Plagon nutrients every time I water. Still some nutrient deficiencies but that's inevitable in a 400ml container I'd say! 😇
She also got some homebrewed Stinging and Forest Nettle Tea, this plant is all about the Tea baby!
And her buds will definately be enjoyed with a cup of Chai Tea 😆
Discovered spider mites on a lower leaf (as you can see on last photo) I carefully removed and burned this leave and after a long, thorough search I did not discover 1 other affected leaf.
Better safe than sorry so I again ordered some bugs to eat the spider mites!
She is finished here. Last little photoshoot before I dry her. I will just dry her by leaving her in the chai latte pot, but stop giving water. She smells fantastic!
To be honest there is not much to tell. I gave water and nutrients, and the plant did all the work! She never got problems with pests or disease or severe nutrient deficiency.
I am surprised how well she did in 400ml metal cup. As long as you feed her and make sure the PH of your solution is between 6 and 7 little can go wrong.
I am not surprised nor disapointed at the harvest of 7 grams. I expected between 4-8 gram so it's on the high end ;)
