Both Gelato 41 were used as mother plants for the other tent. Now it's time to let them bloom.
As you can see, the lower branches were cut off and used as clones. The remaining branches were tied down.
The lamp is running at about 25% power.
End of the first week of flowering. The pretties have grown nice and bushy. 😍
Planted in 11L pots (Very good root development so far), light intensity set to 50%. 12/12 Light schedule
Everything went alright so far, plants looking healthy. Pistols coming out, buds preparing to grow.
I did a defoliation 2 days ago and removed all lower branches that are not really covered in light
The beauties preparing for the nugs. They‘re coming very very soon ✨ Can‘t wait anymore. Everything looks healthy so far, gotta increase the nutriens for like 5 to 10% next week
Everything runs as it should.
The buds are developing nicely.
I'm thinking of trying the method "Back building". Not yet, maybe next week when the buds are more developed.
With this method you can increase the yield by cutting off the top part of the bud so that the energy goes into the bud itself and not all the way to the top. Result = Bigger buds
If you already have experience with this method, feel free to post it in the comments :)
Cheers.
Happy friday friends!
My ladys doing well.
I've tried the method Backbuilding few days ago on one bud only to see how its gonna effect it. Its like topping, but for the buds ;)
It might sound akward but it could be a game changer! For my opinion you can already tell a difference compared to a normal bud. It looks more chunky.
For everyone who's wondering like what the hell is he even doing?!?! Chill out. I've red this technique in a very old grow forum and saw couple of pictures comparing the method. I was amazed.
Week 5 of flower, lets go! I'm very exited.
Hello everyone,
this is the bloom week 6 of the gelato 41. There are 2-3 week to go (I guess).
In my previous grow of gelato 41 from the same breeder the bud development were quit different, not chunky, dense and beautiful like these ones but way bigger.
The smell is also way more dominant and gets right into my face when I open the tent. Very delicious 😍
Beautiful friday everyone! 😇
I bought a stronger light a few days ago, the VIPARSPECTRA P4000 with 400W, matching perfect to my tent. And goddammit look at these beauties. 😍
They are slightly turning purple on the sugar leaves and the buds are like ROCKS 😝 The smell is INSANE!!! This sh*t is hyping ME a LOT 😵 I cannot wait to smoke and make extractions out of it.
Cheers
Hello everyone!
This might be the last week. Trichomes looking almost perfect. Now I stop feeding them with nutriens and just flush with water the last week.
Ig thats it for the week :D!
See you next week for the harvest :O
This has been my second grow from Gelato 41. The first time the buds were not so nice. But this time it has totally impressed me. The buds are totally compact and have very nice colors from green to purple. The smell is unique and definitely has a recognition value. I still have a few seeds and will definitely grow again in the future.
Wow! Look at these amazing two plants. They both turned a bit purple.
The smell is insane.
Belive me or not but my entire room smells like a sweet ice cream restaurant. 😍
I had given this week only PH adjusted water and darkness for two days before harvest.
Going to dry for like 7-10 days and then curing for another month or so.
I will upload more pictures of the dried buds when the time comes
