Week 6: Welcome back! Hopefully we are on the road to recovery from our calcium deficiency. I have learned alot these last 2 weeks, the hard way too.
New Ph stick in hand, I took readings on the feeding solution and discovered I was ok there, solid 6.4. The problem is when I was watering the non-feeding days. I discovered my tap water measures anywhere from 7.0-7.4 and up. I think this was the main problem, high ph and in turn really affected the cal intake and caused all these issues we saw. All that, coupled with too little food on feeding days, caused some damage.
-This week I upped the Bloom nutes and added some Cal-Mag to supplement for my issue. I will likely continue to use the Cal-mag during the regular waterings.
-I also went ahead and defoliated the yellowing, crispy and dead leaves around the bottom to middle to the plants affected. I left the damaged leaves near the canopy alone for now. The newer growth from the last couple of days looks ok so far. Hopefully this was just a minor issue and we can move forward and get some nice nugs. Thanks for stopping by.
